So to match salary you're looking at a minimum of Green and Scott?

It almost feels like Doc was in the room pounding the table for him. Very dumb move when a Ball deal may have paid off longer term. Could have kept the young assets and picks. This will go down as another in a long line of mistakes that franchise has made.

It’s nice tho that even if they make this move they still have the trade exception where they could add another player up to 8.2. Won’t be ball but hopefully someone good off the bench

Anyone but Thybulle

Thybulle is the only one off the table entirely for me, aside from the big 3 obviously.

Yes.  I love the fit but he's old and expensive.  It's definitely a win now move and I'm hoping it's reasonable.

Morey is looking what Paul did to the Suns and thinks Lowry can do the same.

Did you ever watch between the ferns?  He was on an episode I watched last night and it was hysterical.

Yeah with Zach galifanakis? they have a bunch. They are all hilarious.

Him and Simmons better make up.  those 2 almost came to blows before.

Off head with trade exception that puts them around 28 million and Lowry makes 30? So Maxey will probably cover it

Ask Haz that his expertise

Not me saying that.  Doc said he blocked moves.

you think the price for a young guy like ball is substantially less than what they'd give up for 35 y/o lowry?  i'm not sure about that one.

Maybe lights a fire under Ben

Bet they draft Kuminga and he will take 5 years to develop

With old school coach won't play him. They play Mo Bamba zero and wasted a pick on

Bamba doesn't get run because he has no tank. Then he caught COVID and it put him even further behind. Khem Birch had been a solid back up for them but the Bamba pick has been a bust. I think it's one reason they had to package Vuc around the deadline. It will force them to play Bamba and see what they've got.

I think Birch might end up in Boston. A rumor was Smart for Gordon and Birch.

Prior to February they could have gotten Ball for pennies on the dollar then he decided to start making shots

Clips are after Ball.

Probably. Only problem is Paul and Booker were a perfect pairing due to their abilities. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good fit but the Suns making that move was an excellent fit. They needed a PG that could actually shoot better than Rubio to go with Booker and ayton. That move looks excellent for the Suns.

If we make the trade including Maxey and 2 1st's, Morey better be able to bargain Lowry down to 2 years/45 million.

Lowry makes 33.3. So they will need some filler. Probably Ferguson

[Williams] According to @WindhorstESPN the Los Angeles Clippers have made the New Orleans Pelicans an offer for Lonzo Ball.

But at least see what got with Mo, you spent a top 5 pick on him. Team stinks so play him.

Birch isn't special, at all.

I'm fine with Lowry on the cheap. Would hate Lowry on the expensive (in terms of giving up resources, not just salary).

If Lowry falls through he is the target. Tobi for Rubio

Not sure is enough to get that Spanish stud

I am going to make a wild prediction.  When the Celtics still suck after re-signing Fournier, they will eventually deal Brown.
