Agreed.  A friend just texted me that the potential Green to GS trade is rumored to be a 3 team deal with someone from the third team coming here.  No idea where that came from or who the other team is though.

bring back roco!

I think he will play well there.

It is hard to put a value on guys who absolutely love basketball and play it, but it definitely matters.

Look what Ball did to the Hornets, it is infectious

I just don’t trust either of those guys in 2 years are close to the same players they are today. I think Lowry has a ton of wear and tear at 34. Give him the rest of this season and next year i think there’s a high chance for decline. Butler i also think has a chance to see a decline. Not as much as Lowry but i don’t think Butler is going to be what he is today at 33

The obvious lol

Still got two hours

Clippers, Lakers, Nets, Bucks no moves. Don't think Bucks will make a move but Nets have Claxton if need a young piece and Dinwiddle

If we end the day with Green and Scott on the roster...

Apparently George Hill was off for 2 months with a thumb injury.  He will have fresh legs for a playoff push.

But look how well Heat are playing since Butler came back. Dude is a flat out leader and loves the game. He has 2 years left.

Remember when he played for the T Wolves he rented a house in the woods with a court and all he did was practice eat sleep. You just can't teach that.

He is the anti Simmons, Aaron Gordon, KAT, Wiggins

So would Hill be the 3rd guard with Ben still running the point?  Or once we hit the half court, Hill takes the point?  I’m all for Ben running the break and then going off the ball in the half court set.

Expiring contract. Massive asset value that needs to be monetized.

Trade for an expiring next year

Gave up nothing for Hill... so I guess that's a positive.

Hill might see clutch minutes but will probably take minutes from Shake or move him off the ball

Oh i don’t disagree. I think their window with butler and Lowry is this year and next year. After that i think you are banking on two older guys to be title contenders. I get why the heat would do it. I just also think both have wear and tear that i wouldn’t be surprised if their body’s don’t allow them to be what they were in 2 years.

Fair enough but he still has great value in the playoffs this year.

and maxey will only play in blowouts.

Window is open with AD and James hurt. Have to trust Riley

If Doc plays him

I really liked how Tony Bradley had been playing and thought of him to potentially move up to #2 centre once Dwight gets older. But he is still the 3rd stringer and if he has to move to get someone who will have a lot more playing time then so be it.

I'm worried the Lakers are going to somehow get Lowry. That plus a healthy LeBron and AD = cancel the playoffs.

His playoff numbers last two years have been abysmal

But a Finals of

Harden, Irving, Durant

vs

James, AD, Lowry

Would be Fing awesome. Sorry, but screw the Sixers, I would want to watch that.
