In my opinion talent always wins and to me Doc isn't a good enough coach to overcome that. He was a HUGE part on why they lost the Nuggets series when they were up 3-1. Any novice fan could see Harrell on Joker wasn't working and yet he kept trotting out Harrell.

I look at that series this way the Sixers have enough talent and defense I think to get to a game six. I believe in a seven game series you’re not gonna shut down that offense for four times to win. They are too good offensively for the 76ers to just shut them down 4 times and win all four of those games. I would be shocked. The Sixers are going to have to score of the ball in that series in some of those games to win. Embiid and harris have been consistent but everyone else on offense isn’t. I felt for a while that if someone like Zach Lavine was available and you could get him that would put the Sixers over the top because it would give you three consistent scorers and your defense would be good you could beat them.

If Green doesn't get traded, he is going to sit at the almost got traded table for lunch with Ben and Mattisse.

OK, let's agree to disagree. I think people are massively overrating the Nets.

If both teams are healthy, prior to any moves today, I'd take the Lakers to beat them in the finals.

I agree, either Irving or Durant won't be available for the playoffs or chunks of it. That's almost guaranteed that and complete lack of defense they will struggle.

With his packed bags?

Fyp

Glad they didn't give up a ton for an old guy, but still feels like a few good moves were left on the table.

Was scanning rosters to see what options really exist for the $8.2m horford trade exception and quite frankly there aren’t a lot. Markennen probably leads the pack.

One wild name is Jabari Parker. Gotta think he would offer more than Mike Scott and could probably be had for peanuts at this point.

Toronto is opening up a roster spot.  I hope Lowry goes to Miami and not LA.

[Dumas] Daryl Morey’s relationship with Tillman Fertitta has costed the Sixers, James Harden and PJ Tucker and I know that for a fact. In fact, it encouraged Ferritta to send those two to rival contenders in the East.

I hope the rockets never win crap again just cause of that and he’s eventually forced to sell the team.

"Costed"?  Yeah, he is a Dumas

I retract my wild oladipo speculation

Interesting that they traded both backup Cs. They have no one after Howard.  And right now Howard is our only healthy C on the roster.

With only Scott as a backup 4 as well, this team is in need of a big in a major way.

Down to the last half hour.  There HAS to be other moves.

Yeah I'm thankful Tucker went elsewhere.

I’m not. Tucker would have been a nice replacement for Danny green. Right now we are limited in what we can do with utilizing his contract value because he is playing a vital 3 and D role in our current lineup that needs to either be replaced or significantly offset by other benefits.

Related to both your point and mine - gotta wonder if jerami grant could still be in play for green + assets.

Tucker is horrible.  Even worse than Green, who actually has spurts of good games.
