I think it’s far better than that. I’ve gone on record already saying that no team with Harden will ever win a title. I’m sticking to that. Not to mention headcase Kyrie who just decides when he wants to play and when he doesn’t.

Now Lowry is only a little better than Shake.  Lowry and Harden should just stop playing and retire already.

Nah. Lowry is way better than Shake still, but people are underrating the impact of the loss of green who is a more vital player to this team than given credit for.

Yeah, that's the problem. 

The bigger problem is that we went from being an asset with massive value (expiring contract) to being utterly worthless. He and Scott coming off the books does nothing for us given our salary commitments. Morey just allowed to valuable assets to become worthless for no reason. 

Why, as Philly fans, are any of you surprised.  Every time a trade deadline is big news in Philly, regardless of the sport, it comes and goes with a whimper.  I am surprised they did anything.  Obviously they were focused on Lowry and Toronto was nuts for what they were asking for.  But when are we not disappointed with things like this?

His numbers the last four years have remained steady

18 ppg, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, 85 FT%, and about 38% from 3. 

Dude has played 16 years in the league for a reason and a reason Shake is making 1.8 million.

Knowing how to win basketball games in playoff situations absolutely matter as well. Yes, Danny Green has played in a ton of playoff games but the ball isn't in his hands.
