I'll take things I never said for $500 Alex.

No idea who said what, but people were ****ing of having to potential include Maxey for Harden.

If Lowry goes to Miami, would he start?

They offered their starting point guard for him. Totes the same. Good question.

Back court depth, anything over 6'6" they better hope for some buyout help.

embiid, harris, simmons, & howard will eat up most of the playoff minutes in the frontcourt...with thybulle & green playing some sf as well.

We also lead the league in fast break points given up at 15.5....that number would presumable come down too right?

Of course

I think Lowry would’ve kept them afloat more when they were out so their road wasn’t as daunting tbh. I’m not sure AD comes back full health would be my concern. He’s had issues with NO with injuries.

I think their biggest issue is power forward and center. Gasol is horrible and Montrez is to undersized to be starting every night they are getting clobbered in the paint. Offensively and defensively and it really shows up without AD. Guard is the least of their issues.

Drummond gonna get bought out and looking like Lakers is landing spot so far.

Helps with depth.

Still that point differential is gone and unless Ben starts launching 3s spacing is still an issue unfortunately

and they have more capable shooters to surround him with this year.

ben isn't a trade deadline issue...no move they made today would make him a shooter.   we can get into the trade ben debate this offseason again.

Yeah gasol has been a massive bust for them. He looks like he’s completely done. Frankly i think Harrell was overrated with the clippers. I don’t think he’s as good as people think. I suspect if Aldridge is bought out they’d be in that market.

This is why going all-in this year made so much sense. The Lakers have injury issues -- LeBron is basically bionic and will be back, but hard to say that about AD. The Nets have injury issues (KD) and mental issues (Kyrie). We had peak Embiid and assets to move. Maybe this means the team is more concerned about Embiid's injury and ability to come back.

I don't wanna trade Ben at this point. He had a run where he showed he could be that star and then only scored over 20 once in last 6 games.

I feel less concerned about embiid and more they didn’t want to give up assets like thybulle and maxey for a 34 year old point guard asking for a ton of money in the offseason. I tend to think the offseason and deadline next year would be better for the sixers to add an impact player because the big name will be someone better than Lowry. The issue is more they don’t really have anyone on the books at the moment to matchup salary as we have a bunch of expiring contracts and the cap situation with curry, embiid, Simmons and harris

If the rumors were true that both Maxey, Thybulle and two 1sts were required, coupled with Lowry wanting 2/50 extension, that was enough to say no to the deal.  I agree, I would have traded for him and went for it all this year but not at that cost.  If they removed Thybulle from that trade, it was probably a green light.

The issue was who at the deadline were you going to trade Ben for that makes you vastly better or better? Really wasn’t. If beal was out there I’d agree but he wasn’t. It frankly wasn’t a great trade market for trading a star when a 34 year old Lowry is the biggest fish out there.

Harrell hustles like a mo fo gets after the loose balls and does the dirty work and scores really well for a guy his size down low. That's what makes him great off the bench. As a full time starter though he is a major liability on defense

I think trading Tony Bradly indicates Embiid will be fine.

Cue someone claiming I think Tony Bradly is as good as Embiid

That's where I was. Maxey, Green, Scott and some picks. No Thybulle.

If the Raptors turned that down, so be it. But letting Toronto keep us tied up until the deadline, and not exploring backup options, was dumb. If Lowry wasn't happening, you had to move on to something else better than Hill. Push the Pelicans on Ball maybe. Just feels like Morey went all in on plan A with no plan B.

Doc and him lost Clippers Nuggets series when up 3-1

Cue trades that almost happened.

Morey should have spent more time on Reddit getting trade ideas.

I’m actually surprised with everything Orlando was doing they didn’t unload ross. I feel like every season he’s talked about at the deadline and never moves.

Maybe bought out?

Idk has 2.5 years left on that contract. I wish that would be awesome. I feel like he’s likely an offseason deal

Exactly, Harrell was your 6th man of the year great energy off the bench but, becuaee he didn't trust zubacs because he was young he pissed away a whole series . That's why I think Doc is a jackass

Also does anyone know when our horford trade exception expires?

Blake had 60 million on his contract left and took a buyout

Day it happened so Nov 19th.

I don't like basketball but I want the sixers to win just to shut up eskin and his biased garbage, does this trade help?

I think Blake is more of the exception and not the norm. I think he has value. I’d probably try dealing him on draft night. I’m guessing they likely use that exception this summer. Might be a better plan then what was available on the trade market now
