yeah... I was reading an article on the ringer last night about this opportunity to see the team without Simmons. In it they mention some of the players and what they need to do to step up. It mentions that Shake was an "energetic" defender in college. He may be a limited athlete for the guard position, but you dont see that TJ McConnell type energy in his D. If he could at least bring that itd help.

he has trouble keeping his  man in front of him. heck, so does richardson.  they're really going to miss ben on defense in the playoffs.

Wow...

I think we used to be able to say,  yeah but if we traded up for him we couldn't have done the Jimmy butler trade.

But now,  butler is already gone anyway.  And,  we didn't get porter either. But at least we have Zhaire Smith.

Yeah.

Here's the ringer article that talks about missing Ben's d. And shake.  And other stuff.

shams reporting that jojo is returning to the lineup tonight.

surprising.

Embiid, Horford, and Harris in.

Burks out with left foot soreness.  Supposedly not a long term concern.

I think we could make an argument that this FO and the previous one combined have been near the top of not the top of most poorly run front offices. I can't think of a trade they won or a draft pick that has turned out to be successful.

Shamet was a great pick. Thybulle is looking promising. But yeah... no trades won. Big Butler trade got botched when they insulted him and made him want to leave. Harris trade Im ok with but arguably overpaid in the trade. In turn, let go of Shamet who was a successful pick. They then took pennies on the dollar in the Butler sign and trade since Richardson has been extremely underwhelming. Much less than advertised. And finally, you have the horford disaster.

Draft day trades are giving picks away for cash considerations. Never obtaining future picks. Sometimes they dont even get cash considerations, they literally give picks away.

Then you have Zhaire Smith for Mikal Bridges trade.

Theyre ok drafting. But horrible trading players, horrible trading picks, and horrible signing FAs.

I had a 76 dollar free bet from betting a dollar on the lakers game last night. I just placed a parley for 6ers and Clippers to win tonight to win 95 bucks. When does the 6ers implosion begin in this game?

here we go

Here come the Raptors.  I knew it was only a matter of time.  It's sad to watch other teams with less talent that just want it so much more.  Kyle Lowry wants to win so much more than any Sixer and it's blatantly obvious with every possession.

Embiid with 5 points on 1-4 shooting better get his arse in gear. ankle isnt an excuse if youre cleared to play.

I dont have the game on anymore, but it looks like Embiid is done. Stuck at 14 minutes in the box score.

I didn't realize the playoffs were already set.  I don't think either team cares at this point.  Sixers face Boston first round.  If there's 1 positive from what I've seen in the bubble, it does seem like Tobias decided to add a little bit of aggressiveness to his game.

Up ten with five to go

Up one with one to go. Sixers gonna sixer

What an overrated bowl of poo. Only only Philly team on worth watching tonite.

they lost. amazing. but expected for the 7ers. sad.

OKC trails Heat by 4 at half time.

lol at that inbounds pass. jesus christ... Neto was so wide open. What the F thybulle?

Brett Brown. 4 seconds left. inbounds play decides lets have Thybulle throwing it in. To Neto. Wtf brown?

Seriously. Thybulle and Neto for an inbounds play with the game on the line.

Where are Harris, Horford, and Richardson?

Sitting on the other side of the aisle and watching this game, I was also wondering what the hell Brown was doing there.

Maybe he's trying to pull a George Constanza?

Just saw a clip from espn after the portland game. Neither analyst (some lady sports writer and Kendrick Perkns) thought its time to split up Embiid and Simmons. But Perkins says we need to get Ty Lou as coach.
