And the suns just got screwed by the NBA because Portland got to play an extra game to go 35-39. Meanwhile the grizzlies and the Suns are 34-39 and spurs can only go 33-39. So because Portland got to play one extra game Against a crap Brooklyn team they got to have the eight seed play-in game

True, but they did NO favors to the Lakers. Blazers are going to give them a legit series and make them work as an 8th seed.

Clippers will run thru the Mavs

Idk. The blazers had issues with an undermanned sixers team and a nets team (besides levert and allen) they struggled with TLC and Tyler Johnson. The same TLC who wasn’t very good for the sixers. They beat the nuggets but then you look jokic played 23 minutes that game and they lost to a clippers team down Kawhi. I kind of think the lakers are going to just beat them in 5. And I’d add the blazers defense has been atrocious. Giving up 123.5ppg in the bubble.

who remembers this?

That dude showed more fire in that one game than Embiid or Simmons have in their whole career

But yeah - he almost played like he was part of a Chappelle skit  Kinda looks like him too

I was at this game.  Dude was out of his mind but so much fun.  Crowd was so into it.  Damn I miss going to games. 😢

I would have liked to keep brewer for the following season instead of retaining Ennis. I was surprised when we didn't sign him in the summer.

There goes our dream of getting out from under the Horford contract cheaply.

You think thats bad, I was just coming to ask how likely it is that Brand is fired and Divac is our next GM? Id say about 90% likely.

They probably saw him getting ready to trade for Horford and told him to step down or be fired lol

Took the Rockets to the wood shed from starters to end of bench.

Yeah.  Both teams played for about a a quarter and a half then mailed it in.   Now I'm watching Shayok grow into a bomber.

Superb article

This paragraph hurts

Even post-Fultz disaster, the Sixers would be a much better team had the front office made absolutely zero trades or new-signings since 2017. Instead of the big ole mess they have now, the roster would be something like Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Robert Covington, JJ Redick, Dario Saric (statistically the *best* lineup in the NBA in 2017-18), Landry Shamet, Furkan Korkmaz, Shake Milton, Matisse Thybulle, Markelle Fultz, along with two additional first round draft picks and two second round draft picks. Even better, they would not have nearly $300 million tied up in Tobias Harris and Al Horford.

There's other really good (bad) stuff in there but I don't want to give it all away here.

A **** organization and eventually will run out of talent to trade away.

Looks like Brett is tinkering with the starting lineup again for the beginning of the playoffs.  He really has no idea what he is doing with this roster.

Not sure anyone would.  But it's a really tough position for an idiot to be in.

Billups wants to be an assistant coach with Ty Lue if/when Lue gets hired this season.

It's a tough situation when your team consists of 3 guys that play the 5, 2 that play the 4, 1 wing and a bunch of crap

Lame

I know I have no reason to be overly optimistic about this team right now, but can’t help getting a bit excited when a Sixers / Celtics series starts.

at least we won't see marcus smart posting redick up over & over again this year.
