That's wasn't gonna happen Celtics wanted Tatum the whole time and they knew the sixers wanted fultz. The sixers played themselves. Even if the sixers stayed at 3 they are still getting fultz

there was a time when Fultz seemed to be the consensus #1 pick and you knew Tatum was a perfect fit hoping he would fall to 3 for us. 

But they were OK with Covinton and Dario and the need was PG. So, Ill just never be able to agree with this criticism. Its all 20/20 hindsight knowing now that Fultz didnt work out.

Tatum was a nice offensive player. Fultz was a polished offensive player who was supposed to be able to defend as well and fit our biggest position of need (for years). 

 

Its also possible that had we stayed at 3, Fox may have been the better pick than even Tatum if both were there.

The longest team in the NBA can't rebound unless it bounces perfectly off the rim to where they watch the shot.  Nobody on this team boxes out.  It's unbelievable.

Well I don't think Celtics needed fultz at the time they had Irving and Smart so just think they were gonna be ok moving out of 1st cause they didn't need fultz at the time and Lakers were taking Ball no matter what. I agree Fultz was the consensus #1 and should of been based off his college performance. I just think based off of what the Celtics had and wanted they were taking Tatum at 1 or 3 and based off of what the 76ers needs they were gonna get fultz no matter what. Lakers were irrelevant they wanted ball the whole time.

Rebounding is all about effort and instinct no matter how tall you are. Kind of like defense. 

That will do it.

They are so weak on the fundamentals. It’s even more glaring against the Celtics who are so well coached and fundamentally sound.

yeah.... but, Boston could have traded with anyone else looking to snag Fultz from us. 

We needed PG so badly for so long. I was ok with going and getting our guy. It just sucks how badly it turned out. 

Regardless, but all the Tatum hype we hear as 6ers fans because he plays for a rival, and the trade history there... Fox may be the better player out of all of them.

At this point we should be feeting Embiid in the post on every possession. 

We have no star stepping up and taking this game over.

True, definitely sheety how it all turned out for everyone except the Celtics. I liked fox but, again he was another guy that was critized for his shooting 6ers drafted way to many guys for how long with those kinds of guys. I thought fultz was the right choice because he was supposed to be a 3 level guy for once. Figures he would end up also not knowing how to shoot once the sixers got him

I agree. Its frustrating while watching the game but Ill need no time to cope because the thinking is that this is 1 game closer to him being gone.
