Tbh If embiid isn’t embiid for the hawks series they aren’t beating the hawks imo. Hawks since April 1st are tied for the best record in the league. really their record would be better if Trae young didn’t miss like 3-5 games during that stretch. 

Embid has a small lateral meniscus tear.

My dog has torn the meniscus in both her knees.  No surgery, and 2 years later, she seems to be fine.

good chance he won't be 100% if he does come back in the playoffs...so expect to see the non-aggressive version of embiid where he settles for a lot of threes.

If they didnt have Embiid to begin with, they might not have. However, I still expect them to win 1 out of the next 3 even without him. 

So if it's a matter of pain tolerance, basically he's done for the year and half of next season as well I would imagine.

It really depends on how bad the tear really is. They say it’s small lateral tear. Normally a meniscus tear takes 6-8 weeks that’s usually more than just a small tear. So you think with a smaller it’s likely closer to 3-4 assuming it doesn’t get worse. Meanwhile playing on it he could make a move to worsen it, how will embiid handle the pain tolerance and will he be able to be as effective playing with it. They are in a world of trouble cause atlanta is fully healthy and is capable of beating the sixers with embiid being less than 100%.

Hopefully it’s not that bad. Frankly i think the sixers could survive the knicks without embiid. I’m not sure the sixers can beat the hawks without embiid being close 100% what he was this year. 

steroid injection and physical therapy.

Give him rest till next series, unless this goes to a game 7.

Put him in a lateral off loader brace to play in the next series.

that said doesn’t matter. The issue is Ben needs to become a 70-75% FT. Ive accepted Hes just not going to shoot midrange jumpers or threes. Maybe he does one day but i don’t see it anytime soon. He needs to become a better FT. It’s ridiculous that he’s actually gotten worse from last year to this year. The fact of the matter is if he could get his FT% up to 70-75 then you’d likely see him be much more aggressive consistently on the offensive end. He’s good enough to go 5-8 from the floor and if he had more confidence in his FT he could easily get to the line 10-12 times per game with his athleticism and ability. Think if he scored 5 baskets on layups, dunks or hook shot and went 9-12 from the line thats 19 points. No one would be saying anything about his non-shooting cause he would be close to a 20 ppg scorer. Ive said this a ton of times it’s his FT shooting being as bad as it is that irritates me way more than his non-shooting. 

There's a massive difference between just an elite defender and "elite player". When I hear elite player I think LeBron, Jokic, Lilliard, Curry, Embiid....Simmons is NO WHERE near that conversation and it's silly to suggest otherwise.

Did he say draymond and Noah were elite players? I thought he said they were elite defenders. If he said elite players that’s ridiculous. They were definitely all star type players but they weren’t superstars. I’m not talking about lebron, lillard, curry type all stars. Like bottom of the all star roster

I thought embiid tried to embellish it a little bit to try to draw the foul. Which might have actually contributed to his injury.
