more minutes for grant and/or robert williams should actually help the sixers.  they stink & hayward was playing around 34 mpg.

Yep and occasionally he can get hot. Those other guys are a downgrade. 

Hayward is a stiff - he hasn't been the same since his ankle snapped.

Schroder always seems to come up extremely small in playoffs. Dynamite scorer until the game gets physical.

 

On the other hand, Gallinari is looking nice and damn would he have been such a perfect fit for this team.

I am leaning towards having a former player be the sixers next coach.  Maybe someone like Tim Duncan or Jason Kidd.  I think they would be better at getting the best out of a Simmons/Embid combo.

Not sure Kidd would. Seems like he's a bigger joke than brett brown as a coach. 

i'd want someone with previous head coaching success like tyronn lue.  idk if a first time head coach would be a good fit with this team. 

just like flyers, we need a proven system coach, like a defensive minded coach since we dont have good offensive players, a coach like Kenny Atkinson but we probably need a gm too.

i watch these other teams with great shooters who are also great at creating shots & i wonder if we need a new everything.

Yeah.  We do.

I'll be honest,  if I was a blazers fan I'd be very frustrated with many of the shots lillard and especially McCollum take. 

But I guess you take the bad with the good. I'd still kill to have a scorer like that on the team. I was thinking today how it seems like Lillard never has an off night shooting.  He's basically guaranteed 5 3s a game. That's crazy.

what gms are available right now? i'll take anyone over brand right now.

Whatever new coach we get, I want it to be one that does NOT cater to the player.  I feel that is our current issue now.

Good luck with expecting a new coach AND a new GM in an off-season that is going to be what?  1 week?  I wouldn't be shocked to see BB stick around one more year.

the only chance is if the front office already has another GM and or HC ready to be announced the day after the season ends. so slim to nil. 

Yeah unfortunately this whole messed up season is almost definitely going to result in one more year of BB and Brand. They’ll also use Simmons injury as one additional excuse as to why things didn’t work out this year. 

yep, this year is going to be a mulligan for brown and brand. 

So does embiid go off for 30+ or beech out in the first quarter?

Wish they could just move the start of the season to the week after the super bowl. Give us something to watch in spring and summer other than baseball.
