This is not even Atlanta’s bench at full strength. Theei a bench is ridiculously good. Huerter, gallinari and Lou Williams are good bench guys especially in a playoff situation. They are without cam reddish so it really could be better. And hunter likely plays game 3

Is he wrong? Last game the sixers went down big because the bench gave up like a 20-2 run. Today the game got close because the bench was getting outscored. I feel while the starting 5 have been out it hasn't really been close at all.

have you noticed the point differentials between the starters? I added it up after the 3rd quarter and it was about 40-89.

The bench being outscored by about 39 points at that point is why it was close.

In fairness Atlanta is also down a starter with hunter who’s their best perimeter defender. Not that i think it means they can hang but it will help. Solomon hill stinks

Huerter played 30 minutes and Hill only played 8. I think thats a pretty moot point.

Huerter is essentially the starter. hill plays 8 mins and for whatever unknown reason McMillan keeps starting him at the beginning of the game. he’s basically their mike Scott. when it really should be huerter who winds up playing starter minutes anyway. Hunter comes back likely game 3. Not sure how effective he’s going to be though. It’s the same knee that cost him most of the season

So huerter is getting the starter minutes and hill isn’t. So this is essentially like whendoc starts mike Scott and then benches him minutes into the game and we give someone else the majority of the mins. Huerter played 32 mins last game and going to play close to 35 this game. Hawks are pulling a mike Scott is the "starter” then giving someone else starter minutes and Scott goes back to the pine

I think I dislike Young more than Harden

I bet Hawks play this Gallinari at the 5 more in Game 3.

I kind of think they are going to put hunter on harris. However not sure hunter is going to be effective considering his knee is the same one that cost him more than half of the season this year. If i were the sixers i would also getting him moving and running him off screens and see if his knee holds up.he only played 23 games this year cause of it so it’s not healthy.

frankly i still don’t get why McMillan even uses Solomon hill. Hill was a good player at Arizona but he is a jag in the nba like mike Scott. Fun story went drinking with him and Derek Williams after hill’s rookie year. Got my friend to pass out at the bar and left him 5 bucks to get a Gatorade in the morning lol

how many mins did green play in the second half? Feels like those minutes really dwindled down. 

Sixers did a great job not turning the ball over.  Only 7 turnovers tonight. When the bench was playing like crap and it felt like it could go south at least the sixers didn’t compound the problem with turnovers and thus leading to easy transition baskets
