Sixers tell him he has to shoot with other hand and get a shooting coach of their choice or gone. 

Sort of a best case scenario for Simmons though, in a twisted way.  Now he can be traded for pennies to a team with outside shooting and scoring talent in place, where there will be zero offensive expectations placed upon him.  He’ll play D and set picks and grab rebounds on offense.

I almost guarantee they trade Simmons after that. You were a 1 seed and more talented team the hawks and managed to blow it. You’ve gone as far as you can with embiid, Simmons and Harris as your trio. Someone is gone I’m guessing it’s Simmons as i think they’d do it and be willing to give up someone like Maxey if they were able to get a star back.

But unfortunately the way they’ve been losing, with him being arguably THE biggest reason, kills his value.

There are still SO many 6ers fans who are so blind to how bad Simmons is. I wish the arena boo'd a lot more tonight to let the organization know how we feel. But I dont think the majority of Philly has caught on yet. You get a WIP caller bash him, or a facebook commenter, and that person gets pummeled from all sides by Ben supporters. 

Our crowd let us down big time today.  He needed to be boo'd off the court a few different times and I didnt hear it.

Doc’s treasure comment about Ben Simmons is a quote that will live in Philly sports infamy.

 

The loss sucks but long term i think it’s for the best.  Trade ben, get dame, Beal or Lavine.  Ben’s value is so low now though so it’ll have to be a haul…but have to do it.  Can’t waste any more of embiid’s prime.
