Doc is stuck with her. It's something like year 2 or 3 of a 5 year max contract...Doc has to say something positive about Bernadette Simmons, no matter how scared she is.

I never said he wasn't a great x and o guy, what I read and heard on podcasts is he doesn't develop guys. Next coach will be Jamahl Mosley, Luka has vouched for him 

Probably get Wall, still only 30, for Simmons, move Curry to the bench, and let the other guards battle it for role besides Wall.

That would be a great swap. Doc is a "players coach,” not a tactician. When he has far and away the best team he can make it work (even then he sometimes fails). When he has to coach the team up and make in-game adjustments he’s terrible.

I’d blame Dallas lack of development of players as they’ve done an awful job drafting besides Luka and Brunson. Go look at their drafts. Show me guys who left Dallas that made it in the nba? Seems more like Luka and Brunson over the last 10 years has been bad drafting. Here’s their draft picks. Literally Dennis smith jr is the only one who did anything away from dallas and isn’t that good to begin with (shake, muscala and olynkyk were traded on draft day so they never worked with him). Those are some awful names. And on top of it they keep trading them away on draft day

No thanks. Rather just get wiggins and Minnesota pick than wall. At least i can use wiggins as an expiring contract with that pick to get something better than wall.

No crap. His value isn’t getting wiggins it’s taking on that contract for 2 years to clear cap space of 30 mil and get a good draft pick. Plus you can use wiggins as an expiring deal. That’s what the warriors are going to try to do this summer with his contract and the picks . Also there’s been rumors they want to deal draymond because he’s been a pain in the ass behind the scenes. Also can tell you from someone i trust who’s very close to Kerr he doesn’t want to deal with draymond anymore. So you would be getting a younger version of Draymond Green who is a better defender and less of a jackass to Steve Kerr in the locker room

I still think this was a very good roster when completely healthy but they are so fragile.  They fall apart when any of the starting 5 are missing.  On paper, the loss of Danny didn't seem like much but that's just not how this this teams operates.  They need everything to be in perfect order to be at their best.  Lord forbid they have to improvise for a little while.

because John Wall is so much better? since he’s making 40+ million dollars so not only do you have to include Ben Simmons you’re gonna have to include multiple contracts just to match that contract. Add on John Wall is the ultimate stat padder or good stats on a bad team that never wins anything meaningful (not like he didn’t play with beal). His teams have never really been all that great. He put up stats on a crap rockets team this year and still shoots like 30% from three. So acquiring wall makes more sense than trying to clear cap space (wall does in two years) and get a good draft pick assets so then you could use the expiring contract and a good draft pick to a acquire a potential star? But John wall making $47 million in two years and not getting any asset back from the rocket besides his expiring contract in two years is a good trade? 

Plus you’re not gonna be able to trade with the Rockets because the owner don’t wanna deal with Morey. No offense trading for wall is awful. He can’t shoot and will shoot you out of games (basically bad shooter that actually shoots), he’s injury prone and would take up 44 and 47 mil the next two years on one player. the only benefit of that trade is the same thing with wiggins where you get in two years cap space. His game isn’t exactly an ideal fit with embiid and he stunts the growth of maxey. So you are doing the same thing i said with wiggins but getting less assets (picks) and the rockets owner isn’t going to actually make a deal with you anyway 

Also wall doesn’t have the same contract as Simmons or wiggins. He makes 12 mil more per season. That means you have to match that salary which with the current sixers roster isn’t great you are giving up more talent then just Simmons. considering korkmaz, green, Howard are all FA. In order to do the trade, you’d have to give Simmons, shake and hill to make it work money wise.  Basically would be left with embiid, Maxey, wall, thybulle, Harris, joe and reed as lock and not much in cap space to fill the team even if you brought green and korkmaz back. Besides that be tied to a $44 million dollar overrated, lousy shooting and injury prone player in wall.  

Yes it’s a PO in 22/23 that’s he’s going to opt into. He’s not opting out of $47 mil with his injury past and frankly inflated stats with the rockets. Even if the rockets made that deal, the rockets in a rebuild aren’t going to give you any other assets. whereas the warriors want to go for it and might be willing too especially if they can then trade draymond to fill in the rest of the roster all while replacing him with a younger Simmons.

Simmons makes sense as a Green replacement if the Warriors are looking to move on.

Would be ironic since Wiggins was the original apple in the eye of the process.
