Honestly i wish they would’ve used Richardson at the deadline to unload horford. His value was for the rest of this season And next year. Now he has just a year So you lose the value he could’ve helped a team for two playoff runs.

A 10M expiring deal isn't a bad asset. It's attached to a decent,  young player who definitely won't be commanding anywhere near a max in his next contract. 

I don't see how he's losing a ton of value. 

Game is at 1:00 today. That was nice of the NBA to schedule this one earlier so the 6ers can get out of town early.

I still think this core can win. Definitely need a new coach. The mistakes the players make seem like they’re confused and don’t know where they should be. Embiid following too closely To the ball after setting a pick. Sheety rotations on defense.
Need Shake to be at best the 7-8th guy.

He had more value when you consider you get him for two playoff runs if you were a title contending team at 10M and half of that for the rest of this season.  Now only get just one run. That’s pretty big considering your get two shots with him and not one Before having to re-sign him.

Also had more time to acclimate him and convince him to sign by having him for 1.5 seasons and an entire offseason then just 1 year. Add on he’s likely to walk at the end of the year to test free agency Since he’s closer. Yes it’s an expiring contract. However usually teams with a kid that is 26 years old that’s a good starter in the league you don’t want as an expiring contract you want him to sign long term with you and get as many of those cheaper years as possible. Also value in at the deadline team acquiring didn’t even have to pay his full 10 mil salary was an added bonus for a title run. So his value has decreased. Devon givens went into this the other day his peak value for the sixers was at the deadline not now. Not going to get what you could’ve for 1.5 years of service as you would 1 year and the one year don’t know what’s happening cause of covid. It’s not he’s a bad asset it’s that his value was at his highest earlier this season not at the end of the season or offseason due to multiple factors.

This team is unwatchable. Almost every offensive possession is a contested 3 a few seconds into the shot clock. This has to be the most poorly coached playoff team I’ve ever seen.

Gotta love Embiid, Horford, and Harris all standing under the basket and Brown able to drive to the hoop and hit a layup while they stand there and watch. Pretty much sums up the series.
