It was posted in the Blog, Embiid made a quote saying he thought the turning point in the game was when they had an open shot and ended up with just 1 FT out of it.  There's also a gif of his reaction to Simmons passing up the dunk.  His body language was not good.

Joel basically saying the turning point was Ben not Dunking the ball.  He wants Ben gone.  And so do I

As bad as Ben played the whole series, basically playoffs, Joel came up small when we needed him most.  He is part of the soft problem.  We need an alpha.  Soft meter as follows:

1.  Ben

2.  Tobi

3.  Joel

^That's an insult to UPS drivers.

Simmons makes sense as a Green replacement if the Warriors are looking to move on.

Would be ironic since Wiggins was the original apple in the eye of the process.

Wiggins in this scenario is only part of that deal because you need to match Ben Simmons salary.

You can say whatever you want but the value in that trade if the Warriors want Ben Simmons to be the replacement to Draymond Green is the Minnesota first round pick. If it doesn’t convey this year it becomes unprotected in 2022.

If you make a trade for Ben you’re not getting a superstar back right now. You don’t have the assets at this particular moment to get a superstar and Ben’s trade value isn’t nearly good enough like it was prior to this postseason. So if you got that Minnesota pick and you have Wiggins on an expiring contract at the end of this next season you have two valuable assets. if the wizard realize they’re not going anywhere and if beal wants out they might want that Minnesota pick (very likely top 5) that’s probably gonna be unprotected in 2022. Add on they get wiggins off the books to clear cap space in a rebuild

Offenses with historically great scorers really don't make use of 5 players on offense.  When players like Iverson, Jordan, and Curry are contorting themselves into creating shots and points on every possession, at least one other player on offense is just setting picks and standing there.  There is a reason those teams all had a player that was useless on offense and was a defensive stud.

If Simmons is to fit in and have postseason success, he needs to find himself one of those teams.

Gotta be watching that and saying the F. This guy is really going to pull that crap and I’m out here playing on one knee.

What? Embiid is the reason they were even in most of these games.

Embiid just needs health and help.  He may never get either in Philly.

On an ideal superteam, he's your #2.  In the 2021 landscape, he can definitely be your 1a...but if he is, you need a lineup that is 5 across in guys that can play.  He's not consistent or dominant enough late in seasons and games to be the top option for a team with no depth built around 3 players.

Bad career choice. He doesn’t usually deliver.

The only thing i got an issue with embiid with is his turnovers. Can’t have 16 turnovers in 2 games. Otherwise he was fine. He’s playing on one knee and he and curry were the only ones who really were consistent all series.

frankly 3 should be the bench or doc. The bench was as inconsistent as when we talked at the trade deadline. That was the difference in the series. The hawks lost a starter and huerter off the bench saved them. Green went down the sixers had maxey save them for a game but otherwise the bench as a whole was bad in most of the games this series.

Lol the hawks barely beat a team with its best player having a torn meniscus and Ben Simmons being mental. The hawks played like crap most of this series. Legit they won a game shooting 36% from the field and the sixers wet the bed when crushing them by 18 and 26. They are tougher than the sixers that doesn’t mean more talented.

So what does that say about the sixers

Doesn't mean he is not soft.  When Collins strangled him, he checked his face instead of showing some anger towards him.  When Trae did push ups tonight, it didn't phase him one bit.

The problem the Sixers have right now is that they don’t have great assets to get that superstar in a trade. Two years ago you might have been able to traded Ben Simmons and some picks and likely got a star. You might’ve been able to get harden if the rockets owner wanted to deal with morey but he doesn’t.

let’s just be honest Ben Simmons has a bad contract (since he’s done nothing to improve on offense) that still has four more years left on it.  Thybulle is a nice role player but he doesn’t have enough offense in his game in a offensive driven league. He’s basically Tony Allen. He has value in being a great defender but until he improves his offensive game he has limited upside which hurts his value. He’s also going into year 3 of his contract (meaning less time left on a rookie contract) and is going to be 24.

I like Maxey but you saw tonight what I’ve been saying all playoffs. He is a rookie.  rookie‘s tend to be inconsistent game to game. you want to know why true title contenders have all veteran benches and not rookies that they rely heavily on during the playoffs? Because rookies game to game are inconsistent.  I do think this experience will help him and he will be a better player for it. And I think he has good upside but as an asset i don’t think Ben and Maxey for lillard moves the needle enough for the blazers.

The Sixers need to gain assets or find a three-way trade to have enough assets going to a team that’s willing to give up and star. I don’t think thybulle, Maxey and Simmons along with picks gets you that star. Harden was possible cause he only wanted to go to the nets, Miami or Philly and it was never realistic cause the rockets owner was always going to nix it. Basically the rockets used the sixers and Simmons to try and drive the price up and really got a lackluster type of return anyway besides the draft picks with oladipo being damaged goods

They are mentally weak and don’t have enough leadership on this team. As bad as this sounds, i think they truly missed Danny green in this series. Not so much scoring and defense but poise and demeanor on court

I can’t really blame Joel Embiid. If I was playing on a torn meniscus, potentially risking further injury and I don’t know how much time i have left in my NBA career at the peak level I would be pissed off too. It’s obvious Ben Simmons just doesn’t get it and he’s never going to get it. So at this point you have to trade him. And I don’t think his values that good that you’re gonna get the pieces you need to put around embiid unless you are willing to take a step backwards to collect assets to eventually make deals to put the best team around him.

Yeah, those guys actually bust their arse working holidays and OT.

What? No apology from Benita Simmons for being as soft as warm butter??

I am shocked.

Thats why Jazz fans were saying trade Mitchell.

He was playing injured and getting doubled. Yeah he came up small at times and I bashed him for being sloppy with the ball and on defense, but when you are worn out or in pain mental focus slips. Not a free pass but he is further down the list for this series. Can they ever depend on him to stay healthy is another issue.

You knew it was coming after they blew a 26 point lead in game 5. I’m shocked they were able to win and survive game 6
