They need someone who’s had winning experience and someone the players respect. Lue has winning experience and nba experience. However as soon as Lebron left that team went into the crapper like everyone thought. Lue isn’t going to have Lebron here so i question how good of a coach he is if he doesn’t have the best of not the best top 3 players in the world.

savage 1st question in the Brett Brown presser. They asked him how difficult this is after we heard all year about a team thats built for the playoffs.

You gotta love Harris. Im sorry but I do. Theres a lot of consternation about his contract. But he would look a heck of a lot better as the 3rd "star" on a team if the top 2 stars werent inadequate. One is usually injured or moping while the other one just kinda sucks and refuses to work on his game in any meaningful way. If those two guys regularly carried the team he would look great as the 3rd option. But hes often been expected to be the top dog and I guess hes just not quite good enough for that. 

I know you want more point production from a guy making Harris money. But man, the glue he provides and his dedication is admirable.

Love how he wanted to play through his injury because he basically wanted to be out on the court to go down with his guys if they were going down. He wasnt gonna sit in the back and watch. Thats cool.  Harris with his intangibles, if he was in the right role would be beloved in philly. Hes getting a bum deal here. 

 

that was the final episode of the emmy nominate 6ers outsiders for the season. man. Im gonna miss that show.

Horford. I think cause his contract is only 3 years and the price goes down each year. I think harris you’d have to take on multiple bad contracts to match his price and i doubt anyone wants 4 more years of harris at that price. Horford becomes somewhat valuable in 2 years where he becomes a 26.5 mil expiring contract. Still would have to wait 3 for tobias for his to be expiring.

Good brand deserves as much blame as brown. This roster is garbage and he wasted assets.
