Why would the Wolves give up Edwards, let alone for Simmons?  I would take that all day but I cannot see that happening.  Edwards is already special at age 19.  Ben is trash at age 25.

Right.  I'm trying not to cough up Maxey or Thybulle.  Was just going for the quick salary match.  I know KAT, Dlo and Simmons all like each other.  So sub in other guys to fill it out.  Beasley can come in and give us some street cred.  It'd be great if he changed his name to Mike, so we could replace the threegional manager with Prison Mike.

Have you seen the moves the TWolves made the last few years? They aren't exactly the cream of the crop and with new ownership coming in, maybe they want to win now with KAT

He has potential to be the best player in franchise history.  If they want to win now, Ben will not help them.  Maybe they are as dumb as you say and we get lucky and if so, their GM will be fired in a couple years.

Beasley’s game is awesome however also feels like the guy that will ruin his own career cause of unrelated things off the court.

I don’t see edwards ever becoming as good as KG so best player in franchise history is a bit much. Great player though.

They need defense in the worst way.  What better player than Simmons to turn that around.  KAT is perfectly happy camping out behind the arc on offense, too, so Simmons might not be as detrimental to their offense as he is to the Sixers since Embiid does his best work on the block and Harris generally excels in the mid-range.  Plus there's the super best friends angle.  Simmons and KAT are friends and Dlo and KAT are best friends.  They all played HS ball either together or against each other.  Stars have that sway in the NBA.  If KAT wants Simmons, he'll get him.

this. dude was the #1 overall pick & put up 19ppg as a rookie. they would be insane to trade him for simmons.

KG is a first ballot hall of famer and people argue that during his era only tim Duncan was a better PF than him. edwards might have the advantage of the era he plays in but that’s going to be really hard for edwards to accomplish being the second best SG at his position for over a decade and a first ballot hall of famer.

Frankly want no part of d’angelo Russell. He’s the prototypical i put up good numbers on bad teams. The only season that didn’t happen was the one year with the nets. Otherwise he’s always puts numbers on teams that aren’t very good. And he has a bad assist to turnover rate considering he’s a point guard. I actually agree with the rights to Ricky podcast on him his issue has always been any time you get an athletic guard on him he tends to struggle cause he lacks great athleticism. It’s how Arizona made him super inefficient in the tournament putting Rondae Hollis-jefferson on him.

I also don’t think morey would want Russell. If the sixers were dealing with the t’wolves id bet anything it is a 3-way deal. Realistically Minnesota only has Beasley you’d ideally want considering KAT and edwards are off the table. And considering beasley’s off the court issues i don’t see the sixers straight up trading him for Simmons.

Simmons playing with KAT would be hilarious after the tap out incident.

I think Min will want to keep Russell. They were in pursuit of him for years. Theyll have Russell/KAT/Simmons as their "big 3".

Beasley is a terrible human. But Ill roll the dice on him on a team with some vets like Howard and Green if we retain them. We know Russell doesnt bring it in big games. 

I think this is the ideal package from MIN

 

I was really hoping for Naz Reid in that draft. He is a freak athlete, and he can shoot the 3. He is a great fit.
