Why would the Kings trade Fox for Simmons?

They wouldn't.  Unless they think Fox will want out after next season.  Possible since Sactown sucks.

major embellishment. They wouldnt have been swept.

It always depends on the seeding. If they had run in to Brooklyn in the 1st round this year theyd have been a 1st round exit again too. With or without Morey.

Injuries have been the biggest factor. Thats why its time to stop thinking we will win anything with Embiid.

Did you actually watch the 76ers last year?

yup it’s a major embellishment that the Sixers for the last 3 months of the 2019-2020 season before Ben Simmons got hurt were the 5 or 6 seed and losing games to teams like Cleveland. Meanwhile this year they were the number 1-2 seed pretty much the entire season.

The 76ers even before Ben Simmons injury we’re not playing well and they weren’t getting out of the first round regardless in 2019-2020. That’s not an embellishment that is the reality when you **** for 3 months that they needed to trade Ben Simmons then and then Brett Brown needed to be gone cause they were massively underachieving.

3 months? try 3 years.

You're still overstating things.

Oh booy! Looks like a HE vs eagles battle starting! 🍿

cant argue an actual point when you have to correct countless logical fallacies in each post. takes too much time detracting from the actual discussion. at this point its just killing time for me. I know the discussion cant go anywhere.

Yeah I’m really not.

The sixers were a 5/6 seed for the majority of the 2019-2020 season prior to Simmons getting hurt.

This year wire to wire no. 1 or 2 seed in a shortened offseason where they acquired Danny green (who you bashed that offseason) and curry for Richardson.

Like if you can’t understand how that is a big jump in a shorten 72 day off-season with a guy who just got to Philadelphia that’s on you.

I guess fallacies includes standings and factual evidence.

Not quite

Anything going on in the off-season?  Sounds like it will be quiet.

just to point out the 2-3 months I’m referring too from December 1st to February 22nd when Simmons got hurt, they went 21-16. So 5 games over .500 during that stretch. Were the 5 seed the day he got hurt and trailed the 3 seed by 4 games with Indy 2 games back of them for 5. Also the sixers had 22 losses up to that point in the season. The Celtics who got the 3rd seed finished with 24 at the end of the bubble.

if they managed to get a 4 or 5 seed just ignore miami or Indy who had a combined record of 5-1 record against the sixers prior to Simmons getting hurt. And they were clearly close to the consistent play they had this season that allowed them to have the 1-2 seed from start to finish...

very small sample size, but....

CJ McCollum has averaged 28.1 points, 6.2 assists and 5.0 rebounds in 33 games without Damian Lillard in his career.

An NBA source called the Sacramento Kings' potential trade pursuit of Philadelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons a "pipe dream."

Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee reported Thursday none of the agents or executives he spoke with were bullish on the Kings' chances of landing Simmons, with one suggesting Sixers teammate Tobias Harris was a more realistic target.

Another added the only path toward a "serious play" for Simmons would include an offer headlined by De'Aaron Fox or Tyrese Haliburton

One of the most popular hypothetical trades among fans in Sacramento would send Buddy Hield and Marvin Bagley III to Philadelphia as part of a package for Ben Simmons. The Sacramento Bee submitted this proposal to a number of NBA agents and executives to get outside perspectives on what it would take to get a deal done.

One league source felt Simmons was a "pipe dream” for Sacramento, saying the 76ers would want Hield, Bagley and a minimum of three future first-round draft picks, including the No. 9 pick in this year’s draft. The source felt there was a better chance of an alternate deal involving 76ers forward Tobias Harris, suggesting Philadelphia might prefer to move Harris to clear salary cap space.

Another source questioned why either team would make that deal, specifically saying it doesn’t do enough to address Philadelphia’s need for leadership. The source suggested the Kings could make a serious play for Simmons if they make De’Aaron Fox or Tyrese Haliburton available. Some believe the 76ers could make a move for Kyrie Irving, Bradley Beal or Damian Lillard instead.

That remains to be seen, given Simmons’ recent playoff struggles, but the idea of a trade is something Morey and McNair will probably discuss, if they haven’t already. They might find it more difficult to agree on the terms of a deal now that they’re on opposite sides of the table.

I saw the kings posts and responded. You were consumed in your logical fallacies. Reality is a psychological construct that is different for everyone.  Yours is based on more limited data points as you ignore things going on around you and focus too much on things that arent actually important. Shoulda caught that Kings post man.... do better. My reality is better than yours.

Wrong

But please do inform everyone how being 21-16 for 3 month period, being locked into the 4-6 seed from December to the end of the season, 1-5 against 4 and 5 seeds in the conference and then the very next season with a shortened condensed offseason with a guy here less than 2 months being consistently a 1-2 seed in the standings from start to finish and getting homecourt is a fallacy.

Lets talk about fallacies as you stated the sixers would’ve beaten the bucks, suns and clippers if they got by atlanta... and then important like Larry nance, 3 scrubs and a pick is saving the sixers...

trust me you can have your reality because in your reality you kept trying to convince me to Tobias Harris was actually worth the money. He’s not and a problem.  And the Danny Green was done and sucked when we got him. Also false.

oh you took that seriously. still consumed I see.

Come on now, Green was absolutely sheet in the playoffs for the Lakers so to think he was going to be anything for the sixers when they got him you would be lying to yourself. There was a time even during the season you were bashing green. He eventually got going towards the end though. The 60 mins he played against the hawks he was pretty bad offensively. So there is no telling if he would of gotten better in that series.

I don’t have problems bashing players when they are playing poorly in the season. That’s one thing. He struggled early when i bashed him and came around. I still stick with if his offense was not there in a particular game I’d give thybulle more mins as thybulle would give you more on defense since the offense wasn’t there. However the point was as soon as we got him Danny Green he sucked and couldn’t contribute anything to the Sixers cause he was done.

I actually said at the time of the trade he wasn’t nearly as bad as he showed in the bubble. he was actually decent before the bubble. My point when we got him was he’d be useful for the sixers from leadership and a role player perspective. He was never going to give you Danny green Spurs years or raptors year.

Atlanta series he didn’t shoot well. He was still averaging 6 assists in the two games he played and wasn’t completely useless on defense when not guarding Trae. doc was dumb enough to have him guard young exclusively all game 1. I’m not surprised he struggled in game 1 considering the fact is 33 years old you’re asking him to play defensive exclusive against Trae  which expenses a ton of energy for a 24 year old Simmons let alone Danny who’s 33

This one will probably really piss some people off.

Just bored and did this. Bring Jimmy back?

Look how much it increases our wins

Anyone know about this rumored Brandon Ingram package?

It seems to be saying Ingram is on the market and the 6ers should be able to beat any offers from other teams.

I havent heard of Ingram on the market.

May be an image of 2 people, people playing sports and text that says '@SIXERSCRAZE Phila 25 ibotta REPORT THE SIXERS REMAIN ABLE TO BEAT OUT MOST TRADE PACKAGES FOR A STAR, INCLUDING THE RUMORED BRANDON INGRAM PACKAGE. H/T CHRIS CROUSE'

Seems like a horrible trade for the Pelicans
