Pompey is a hack.

Pass on George

Not only that he’s a good defender so the drop off from Simmons defense to George isn’t nearly as significant as George’s offense to Simmons offense.

I must be missing something.  What's so great about Brandon Ingram compared to Tobi, for example?  Because he's younger?  I just did a quick look and Ingram's efficiency wasn't at Tobias' level.  However, it does appear that Ingram has improved his FT shooting quite a bit since entering the league.  Still not quite Tobi's level though.  And BI is about 40 lbs lighter.  Slightly less efficient and he offers less size.

Of course, I'm biased for the Doc version of Tobi as compared to the Brett Brown version of Tobi.

The fact that Ingram is 23 and hasn’t reached his ceiling whereas tobias has likely reached his. Ingram in 2 years could he even better which is pretty impressive cause he was an all star the previous season. also add he’s shot 38.6% from three the last two years combined. Harris shot well this year at 39.7 but also 3 attempts less per game. I think versatility wise he can play more positions with his length and size. The FT shooting this past year was 88 for Ingram to 89 for Harris.

I’d take Ingram over Harris. PER Harris had a 20 and Ingram had 19.24. The year before Ingram had 18.8 and Harris 17.2.

Process never finished and a hack the NBA forced on them screwed it all up.

If you got George and McCollum, between the 2 of them theyd take every shot of every game and Embiid would never have to do anything but rebound. He would be so fresh.

Yep. He'd have space that is for sure

The moment Ben leaves The Process is over.

Weight is so overrated in the league, skill always wins out.

Those versions of Harris are the exact same players, 3rd maybe even 4th best options on championship level teams. Suns 3rd option is Ayton and Bucks is either Middleton or Jrue depending on who you value more. Harris wouldn't be the 3rd option on either of those teams.

Ingram is on another level with shot creation, the one thing the Sixers do not have. Video from last year but shows the versatility of Ingram

OK, that was pretty good.  In particular that last play with the spin at the top, drive and then dish to Jrue.  We could definitely use some of that on this roster.  Ben could make that same play but there would be no need to play him as tight up top because he wouldn't shoot it from there.

Don't know got to make that link look nicer.

It's basically a Lowry sign and trade. Sending Ben Simmons and getting Lowry plus pick 4.

Seems a little optimistic.

Teams sending out a player in S&T lack leverage.  We do them a favor where they'd get Ben Simmons in the deal rather than Lowry walking for free. So we should get more.

Could 4th pick really be realistic though?

Lowry and Suggs would be sweet.

I wasn't down with Lowry previously because of his age.  However, for a few years with Suggs, I'd be down with that.  Lowry can give us the win now PG with Embiid while we groom a Suggs/Maxey back-court for the future.

I think we will see a lot more teams carry a big big and a small ball big moving forward. Jazz had absolutely no answer when Gobert got pulled out on defense.

A name I would look at is a guy like Moe Wagner. A tad slow footed but can still stretch the floor. He should have a pretty good Olympics this year and become a more popular name. He shot 37.9% from 3 last year on 4.4 attempts.

While Philadephia and GM Daryl Morey are open to trading Simmons, his trade value around the NBA is not as low as many fans think, reports Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated while on the Bill Simmons podcast on The Ringer (hat tip HoopsHype).

"I hear from executives all the time that are loving this ‘Ben Simmons trade value has cratered’ conversation because they hope that Philadelphia believes that. I think his trade value is actually higher than what’s being publicly portrayed. But you’re going to continue to hear a lot of the negativity around Ben Simmons.

"In other words, I think people value him pretty high across the league because I do think there’s a belief that someone’s going to figure the shooting thing out.”

Here's what Simmons is up to.

At Wimbeldon.

He said he was going to relax first!

I’d suggest to people to listen to the Hoffman and bodner podcast they had come out today. Really good. Talks about the sixers ability to make moves and what MLE they can use. Some on George hill and his contract. Morey and the sixers and the dysfunction in the FO until this year. It’s a really good listen.

Sixers get the worst family members, Horford's sister and now this bum.

Dude really should keep his mouth shut since he helped create this atrocity.

https://www.si.com/nba/76ers/news/nba-rumors-kevin-love-collin-sexton-little-appeal-sixers

Terry Pluto of Cleveland.com recently reported that several league sources believe that a potential package involving the veteran forward Kevin Love, the young guard Collin Sexton and draft picks would have "little appeal" to Daryl Morey.

The chances of the Cavaliers trading Love this year seem higher than ever. At 32-years-old, Love is at a point in his career where it only makes sense for him to play for a playoff contender. The Cavaliers, who finished with a 22-50 and placing 13th in the Eastern Conference last season, still have a lot of work to do.

While Collin Sexton certainly makes a package surrounding Love much more interesting, he hasn't really reached star status in the league. The former five-star recruit turned to eighth overall pick in the 2018 draft has yet to notch an All-Star appearance in the NBA.

Sexton could certainly help make the Sixers a better offensive team, but Morey reportedly has his sights set on somebody bigger. Per Pluto's report, insiders believe Morey wants "someone such as Damian Lillard in a Simmons deal."

While Philly would definitely have to add more in a package centered around Simmons to land somebody of that caliber, it would be in their best interest to shoot for the stars this offseason, not settle on something smaller just to make a trade for change.
