So would i rather be with embiid and Harris or Knicks with randle and Derrick rose having that same issue?

Knicks are at 54 million dollars going into the 22/23 season so they definitely could add a 3rd piece at that point as well.

dont get me wrong that 22-23 free agent class is stacked. However i also don’t see all those guys making it to free agency. I don’t see steph, Durant, harden, beal, curry, Kawhi, Irving, Lavine all making it to free agency. I have a feeling Lavine, beal and Irving are the most likely and I’d bet one of them doesn’t.

The last game of the finals was October 11th and season started in December. Didn't have any recovery time and why so many stars have dropped to injuries this year

The way he takes care of his body and his off season routine will always give him longevity.  But he has a lot of wear and tear I think the soft tissue injuries will continue to hinder him in the future.

So you’re going to tell me that Damian Lillard would rather play with Julius Randle and hope they get a superstar in 22-23 FA which has not happened for the Knicks in free agency in two decades then knowingly be traded to play with an MVP caliber player in embiid. That is what you’re telling me? Maybe they get a superstar to come there but the fact that Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving were locks to go there and they blew that I don’t think the Knicks are as great as you think they are. And that’s not saying the Sixers are either however at least I know the Sixers have Joel in place. The Knicks have Julius Randle and hope they could get a player as good as the embiid in free agency which is not a given

He could be right.  Players are really stupid nowadays.  But if he choses the Knicks and never gets a ring, it his own fault.

The Nets will unload Irving and then trade for Dame....somehow make the cap and trade money work.

beal— possible 

Steph— he’s not leaving golden state 

(luka and ja could if they turned down Max offers after their rookie contracts expire which is highly doubtful) 

so they have a shot at Lavine, beal and Irving. Yeah i rather take my chances with embiid and Harris if I’m lillard then any of those 3 with randle. And i like Bradley beal a lot. 

And I know if the Knicks make that deal for Lillard they can’t make another trade to acquire another superstar cause They have nothing left. So the banking on that free agency class which ultimately might not hold a player nearly as good as embiid.

My point was more if you look at the teams as currently constructed the sixers Youre not hoping to go into free agency in two years to get a superstar. the Sixers have a MVP superstar to team up to win a title as currently constructed. The Knicks you have to hope they go into free agency and get one of those superstars which might not even be there in free agency as i pointed out on another post. 

apparently Leon rose is better as a president/GM than morey who’s had more overall success and managed to complete more complicated deals then any GM? Like it’s disingenuous to morey who has made himself into one of the best general manager in the league. Because rose had one year where the Knicks overachieved in a mediocre eastern conference and during a pandemic means Rose is able to pull veterans trying to o chase a title to the Knicks with lillard and randle that Morey can’t with lillard and embiid? please.

I totally agree with you that Sixers give him a much better shot at multiple Finals runs compared to the Knicks.  But I also know how things go in Philly.  If he choses us over the Knicks, he would be a moron but it could happen.  But then no one ever feels sorry when he doesn't end up with a ring or at least a couple finals runs.

if dame does get traded to a team other than philly & it's for a rebuild type package, you gotta think mccollum could be had for peanuts at that point.
