Do you remember all the players we traded away in bad trades that played a key roll on other good teams? What else could I expected from people but the one hitter quitter? I don't even know how you'd fit him salary wise anyway.  Between Lillard and Green that's $63 million incoming and only Ben going out.  A lot of other contracts or sign and trade stuff would have to happen.

the bridges trade was a complete bust...and he's contributing. that was a rookie for rookie trade though...not a case of "not developing" a young player by trading him away. shamet looked good for a short time but seems to have fallen off a cliff. who else am i missing that has contributed to his new team? a few role players like dario & roco maybe?

I wonder if we can figure out a way to get Lonzo here.  He would fit like a glove if we got Lillard.

true. i threw barnes' name out there but i think he's well over $20+ as well & probably wouldn't work. guess we'll just have to settle for lillard.

I don't really watch basketball. Maybe a few clips on YouTube. But if you take away thybulle and Ben, we are horrible defensively. If you must trade Ben don't trade much else. Just an eyeball test. Or trade maxee to Cleveland with a couple of picks. Do you cast away a man just because he has a porn habit? Or do you develop a system to overcome porn and admit that yours doesn't work? Just because Ben isn't cumfortable finishing and making an elite baby, you shut down Johnson and Johnson as a company. Lol mf

if ben's lack of shooting were a porn habit, he'd be blind by now because it's been going on for 5 years and shows no signs of stopping.

That's actually not too bad.  Wiggins has one more year then he's expiring.  Not sure where GS would send Draymond.  That'd be a pretty good haul for Portland.  3 former first round picks who have showed promise (not including Wiggins whose just a contract match) and 4 additional 1st rounders.  CJ, Maxey/Thybulle, Wiggins, ?, Wiseman.  Fun little rebuild squad for them.

I actually think utah fit wise makes a lot of sense in a deal for draymond.  I don’t think it’s remotely realistic the Warriors would do a deal to Utah being that they are both top contenders in the west. However green is exactly the type of guy that is needed on that Utah team that can get defend and distribute along with give them some toughness that I think they’re missing.

(Not this particular trade but in general) I think that depends on what Portland thinks of Barrett and Simmons ceilings are and can be reached in any trade tbh. 

everything else is imo equal. i rather have maxey then quickley. I think maxey has a higher ceiling and his coach didn’t allow him to play to put numbers that i suspect would’ve been as good if not better than quickley besides 3 point shooting. Toppin and thybulle is mix bag. If you believe toppin can reach his ceiling it’s higher however i think he’s vastly overrated even when he came out. I think thybulle is likely to have a better career 

To me this ultimately is going to come down to if Portland believes billups is the guy that can get Simmons to reach his full potential which if he ever did is still higher than Barrett. If the blazers don’t believe that then I’d agree they’d go Barrett, quickley and toppin. This particular trade i think they’d take Barrett over wiseman unless the warriors include 7 and 14 in this deal and they believe there’s a player with a higher ceiling at 7 then Barrett. Which i kind of doubt 

the warriors are the perfect team for draymond.  shooters & more shooters.
