Lakers are not that stupid.

Kyle Kuzma reportedly wants out and is interested in proving himself elsewhere as a "primary option".

The Lakers could very well look to flip him for another player that could form a "Big 3" with LeBron and AD. They may view Westbrook as that guy? Or maybe they go after Bradley Beal himself? Looks like Damian Lillard is most likely staying put in Portland.

A disgruntled Kyle Kuzma, KCP and a draft pick for Westbrook isn't a bad deal.

For themselves to get just Westbrook yes but, to throw all that in there plus picks that helps the sixers get Beal, the Lakers won't go for that.

Id offer Ben and Maxey for SGA and #6. But Ben is no Cunningham, so maybe they say no.

SGA is better

Im willing to add a lot more.

I dont know who this is, but he is followed by Tom Moore who is a 6ers writer. Apparently he has media connections.  The rumors section has some interesting notes, if they are true.

Earlier, the rumor did not include Lowry's name. This one does.

If thats the case, Morey is being a Fing idiot. forget about FVV. Get Lowry, who Morey has coveted, and that 4th pick and let it be a done deal already. Why do we have to be greedy and get stuck with Ben?

Rightfully so rejected by Raptors

its a ridiculous ask. He would be lucky if they even pick up the phone again if that is true.

One of FVV, or Lowry with pick 4 and OG is plenty.

I really like the idea of an OKC trade because we could create a massive trade exception with them. Too bad we couldnt be doing that SGA trade.

Even a George Hill trade for basically nothing would possibly give us like another 10M exception. George Hill for a future 2nd rounder maybe...

6ers...Not 1, but 2 of the biggest jokes in the whole picture.

Want no parts of dealing for Lowry. Apparently in order to do a sign and trade he needs a 3 year contract.  he’s asking for $25 mil per season. He’s going to turn 36 during the season. And his defense dramatically dropped last year and he couldn’t stay healthy. That has the potential to be al horford like bad if he declines even more from last year. And at least then they didn’t give any type of assets besides cap space.

The reason why the 76ers were going to do it at the deadline was they were going to get rid of Danny Green and some other contracts. that’s how they were going to bring in Lowry. I would bet a ton of money whatever contract he gets he doesn’t live up to it.

I’m guessing they mean if he’s bought out.

So Maxey in the Dame package confirmed!

If SGA is on the block, would they be interested in a Ben package with some players and picks?

They are willing to take on salary to gain extra picks.

I think Ben for SGA benefits both teams in that regard. They'd get an all star and a bunch of 1sts. Taking on his salary.  And it would create like 25M trade exception for us to work with.

We should do whatever it takes if they have any interest in Ben at all.

I like him more than Fox.  He can shoot the 3.

sga is really, really good & i'd be shocked if okc gives him up for ben.

I really don't understand it and at what point do you want to win.

And the next All-Star-caliber player team personnel currently eye as available: Oklahoma City point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who’s suddenly eligible to sign a projected five-year, $168 million rookie scale extension this summer. It would appear, however, any interested team would need to meet the Thunder’s significant asking price. "It’s going to take a f–king lot to get him, but he’s no longer impossible to get,” said one team executive. – via Jake Fischer @ Bleacher Report

Maybe embiid then

SGA is so damn good and just turned 23.

Someone just proposed a trade on realgm...Ben for SGA and Kemba lol.  We don't have enough assets to trade for SGA, do we?

Interesting. Wasserman confirms ’s report that the Thunder offered Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and No. 6 to Detroit for No. 1.

not unless they want embiid.

really nothing new here but here it is anyway:

https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/263459/Raptors-Have-Had-Most-Serious-Ben-Simmons-Trade-Talks-With-76ers-To-Date

The Philadelphia 76ers continue to maintain hope of trading Ben Simmons in a package to the Portland Trail Blazers for Damian Lillard, but discussions continue with other teams.

According to Bleacher Report, talks between the Sixers and the Toronto Raptors are considered to be the most advanced of any that have been had on Simmons. Philadelphia is interested in acquiring Kyle Lowry from the Raptors, as they were at last season's trade deadline.

"The overwhelming expectation around the NBA remains that Philadelphia will trade Simmons before the start of training camp," writes Jake Fischer at Bleacher Report.

Simmons is signed through the 24-25 season and will make $40.3 million in the final season.

I am reading OKC's board and someone said the reason he could be available besides OKC management possibly not wanting to pay him is that SGA may not have his heart set in OKC.  Hopefully the last part is true.
