Every time a video of Ben shooting during the offseason goes up, someone should then tag his mid range and 3pt shot attempts

The fact it irked him that brown went out to the media and said what he did proves just how immature he is and doesn’t get it. Like he thinks the next coach isn’t going to call him out on it media and to his face about it? Going to happen. He might be traded and still not get it until later in his career when he finally realize he wasted his talent

While Brown has his flaws, I don't think Phil Jackson in his prime could fix this sheet show. He was the easy scapegoat here and I think even he knew he was done once the trade deadline came and went.

The team is still fundamentally broken. Their 4 highest paid players are a PG who won't shoot because he has a fragile ego, a tweener that is streaky shooting and has consistently come up small in big moments (and was supposed to be your closer), a 5 that is sucky at just about everything with an albatross of a contract and another 5 that struggles with injury and double teams.

Its one thing when he didn't like that brown demanded he do something on the court.

Still petty but what's worse is when he hit one in the bubble exhibition game and Brown said he had an epiphany, Ben never shot another after that.

Ben purposely does things to show up his HC. I bet there will be more that comes out along those lines if we get a more confrontational HC.

if ben is uncoachable, trade him.

Ben for Jamal Murray, Bol Bol, Keita Bates-Diop

Or

Ben for Porter Jr. And pieces to get salaries to work.

I would take both deals

denver has a lot of guys i'd love to see the sixers trade for.  god, i wish they'd take tobi for a couple of them.

We should’ve let utah take tobias last offseason when they wanted him. And went after bogdonavic.

gws2 bomb:

Brand is highly respected and actually liked by lots of people in NBA. Sure some of this is on him being in charge, but dont think for one second that the problems on this team are his fault.

I've said this over and over again, Josh Harris is 100% at fault. It was his decision to move Jimmy. Not Brett, not Brand. It was his decision to trade for Jimmy and Tobias in the first place.

We will see in the coming months if he realizes this (highly unlikely), but any changes in the FO will be meaningless if there is not someone hired above Elton to run everything.

bigger gws2 bomb:

There are currently a lot of moving pieces. I’ve heard that everyone in FO but Brand could go, to only a few being fired and Brand running things. If the former were to happen they would bring in a high level executive to run everything with Brand under them. I’m highly skeptical that happens and expect just a few changes.

Regarding the coach, unfortunately I’ve been hearing Ty Lue for a few weeks if he doesn’t get Nets job. They’ll reach out to Jay Wright but I don’t expect much from that conversation.

Horford is the likelier trade candidate over Harris but they would still need to attach other assets to rid themselves of his contract. Harris is almost as untradeable as John Wall.

Jo is just frustrated with the team around him and this offseason will go a long way to determine whether he wants out.

Ben doesn't mind staying as long as he gets his check

Honestly not sure id want to give up any 1sts or decent players just to dump horford right now.

With a crap roster and only an MLE to improve it, draft picks feel important to actually use.

Would we actually gain cap space without Horford? We may still be over.  In which case it's not worth it at all.

They run poorly from an X's and O's standpoint. Most possessions consist of jacking up a contested 3 a few seconds into the shot clock. That's all coaching. Phil Jackson would not have gotten swept by that Celtics team and he damn sure would not have been the 6 seed.

I would trade Horford for Wall

Denver has been disappointing...really struggling on d.  wonder if we could offload horford & richardson for a couple of their shooters.

Saddiq Bey looks like a good choice for us who, from what I've seen, is mocked to go around 20 give or take a few.

I like terry from Stanford but i was told by a coach at Arizona he’d be shocked if he falls past 15. Thinks he’s going to get a lot of praise as the draft gets closer and closer.

I don't watch enough college ball to know. Just seen Bey around us and I think is a fit. 45 percent from 3, even with an odd shot. Big enough to play D here. Knows the city somewhat so hopefully isnt a whiny beech.

I always wish we could trade for Murray and Harris or Barton. Obviously those wouldnt be salary dump type players though...

Hes gotten some buzz on the realgm board lately but they guy they seem to think rises is Kira from Alabama who is projected by our pick but they think he will go top 15.

Maybe one of them will, but I feel like one should be within reach even if we have to use a couple 2nds to make sure we land him.

I think Terry has a good shot if he has a decent weigh in. The main knock seems to be his size, that hes skinny. Rumor was he weighs in the 160s. Some of them say hes bigger than that now. If so, he should rise I would think.

But I really like the idea of combining Terry and Mays from LSU. 2 nice athletic scorers at PG and SG. If we did that, I think we have a successful draft.

I do like Bey. Hes just a little redundant with Harris. Id like the immediate impact of a guard who can challenge to start rather than a bench 3/4 behind Harris. If guard options are off the board, Id have no problem with Bey though.

Was told reminds coaches of a poor man’s Trae young. Not that he will have the type of success young has or as good of a prospect but felt add 10-15 pounds of muscle to get his strength to where it can be that you could see him as a lesser talented young (ball handling not as good as young and young is a better shooter). I’ve seen comps to McCollum.  I think McCollum is much more built when he came out and more strength to his game even though he’s a good shooter. I also think terry has more Natural ability to play pg. i think his ball handling and intelligence is going to help him at the next level. whereas i think mcccollum is better as a shooting guard Than a point.

was told if he played at a bigger school than Stanford (not that Stanford isn’t but in terms of ncaa powers say Kentucky or duke or one of the big time schools) that more people would love him as he’d have likely looked even bettter with better talent around him. might even Been able moved his way into the top ten with how people have seen Trae young and curry have success coming into the nba slight of frame but could shoot.

I hate hearing this from scouts because I really woulda liked him and felt lucky seeing where hes at in mocks.

Just like last year I LOVED Hero and he was projected around our pick for months. Ended up going a lot higher.... I hate that we didnt end up with him. Man would he have been huge for this team this year...

well Giannis got DPOY so theres one award Ben coulda won that he didnt. Im happy about that.
