How about CJ + Roco + a combo of picks/swaps for Ben, Shake and filler.

CJ

Maxey

Roco

Harris

Embiid

Curry, Thybulle, Springer, Niang, Korkmaz, Drummond, Reed and PG MLE off the bench.

Win win for both teams.

If we can get a legit PG (somebody who can breakdown defenders and commands respect on the perimeter) on the MLE I'd be fine with that.  Just need somebody who can run the second unit in the regular season.

There aren't really any of those guys left except Reggie Jackson.  And now we may not have the full MLE anymore because we might have used part of it on Niang.

Kemba bought out by Thunder. Signing with knicks.

That may do it for knicks interest in Schroder.

the real reggie jackson

Crazy to think that a GM like Morey has an offseason plan that consists of  "Dame or bust."

If no Dame, this is literally the roster heading on to the season.

No PG. No backup PG.

No real starter replacing Danny Green.

At this point is probably smarter to not play Ben at all during the regular season and continue to shop a trade for him.  Because this team will suck and you already know he not gonna be any better himself.

Also,  Joel will mope.  And he will be likely requesting to be traded too.

Kemba supposedly only got 8M from the Knicks.

We coulda use him but I'm sure he didn't even consider us.

i'm hoping morey has a "backup" deal with the kings if he can't get dame. that mitchell kid looked really good in their first summer league game last night...so maybe they'll see fox as being expendable.  if not the kings, maybe the spurs in something like the trade that was posted by that maroon wong!  it's not exciting but it gives them a legit pg who plays good defense, a young wing....and.......well...a really old thad.

They need to blow it up.  It’s done.

i dont blame embiid if he wants out, morey is seriously stuck in own ways of give me a star for this disgruntled player or i'll keep him until they do, like it doesnt work that way, i mean look at the harden trade to nets, they didnt get any stars back for harden because his value wasnt that good as a result of his disgruntled ways.

this front office has screwed this tanking team to scraps because of not hiring an competent gm.

I'm sure there's a plan.  Ben will get moved.  You guys are panicking because of FA.  Think Dame feels like the Blazers did enough to make them a contender?  Absolutely not.  Beal must be smoking the really good crap to want to stay in that Washington dumpster fire.  Give it time.  We need a star.  Not a Hield.

I don’t see Sacramento keeping all three of Mitchell, Fox, and Halliburton. If drafting Mitchell is an indication they are putting an emphasis on improving their defense, maybe a Simmons deal involving Fox is possible.

The wizards are playing a dangerous game with beal. He’s gonna opt out of that contract at the end of the year to get a bigger payday. Unless they know he’s going to re-sign when he does that there’s a huge chance he just bolts if the wizards are a fringe playoff team or get worse from last year. I think there’s an excellent chance he leaves if they are a 7-10 seed in the play in tournament. It’s why i think the trade deadline becomes massive for Washington. They better have the answer of if he opts out is he going to re-sign. Frankly i think he winds up out with the warriors.

The dame situation comes down to dame asking out and their GM doing right by him. With the lackluster moves the blazers have made i could see lillard asking to be traded at some point because the blazers aren’t better than the Lakers, suns, warriors, clippers (kawhi healthy or even if he isn’t), Denver, mavs and utah are all better. So likely an 8 seed playing in the play in tournament to likely yet destroyed by the Lakers. I tend to think he eventually asks out. Their GM is kind of an idiot who could just reject wanting to deal him. I tend to believes their GM gets fired then Portland deals him. Whether he is traded here or elsewhere is another story.

Amin elhassan on Sirius made a great point with fox, the GM who’s there now wasn’t the guy who drafted fox and gave him the extension. He drafted haliburton and now Mitchell. There’s the possibility he is open to deal fox because he’s not his guy and willing to change up the current non defensive culture. The kings apparently were the worst defensive team (analytically) in nba history. Their starting lineup was awful defensively: fox 118.1, hield 118.8, Harrison Barnes 119.2, holmes 114.6, haliburton 118.1 and bagley who started 32 games 117.3. That’s really bad.

I just came across a Hoops Habit/Fansided that is suggesting a similar move, although they are theorizing a Simmons and Harris for Fox/Hield plus picks deal.  It's Fansided so it's nothing but speculation but the Mitchell pick makes me wonder.

I mentioned before I would be really happy with a Simmons deal based around Fox but didn't think they would make him available.  The draft kind of changed my thinking on that.

I knew their defense was bad but didn't realize quite how bad.  I'm hoping this is a deal Morey has in his pocket that he will accept if he doesn't get some other team to top it or at least bid against it to give him leverage to drive up the price.

i think Mitchell and haliburton being their last two top selections and the change in GM from who gave fox his deal has changed what they’d be willing to do. Also got to remember the Sacramento Kings aren’t going to be big players in free agency and bring in a player that has potential to reach his ceiling Ben has (not saying he does or will just saying he has that ceiling). They might view ben Simmons having four years left on his contract as a player they can bring in that normally he wouldnot give them the time of day in FA.

I’m surprised that the kings were like 10-15 win team considering how bad their defense was.  it was the worst defense the NBA has ever seen. And yet they somehow still manage to win 31 games. Not that that’s impressive but when you have arguably the worst defense in NBA history winning 31 games seems like it would be hard to do. If they were just slightly below average it feels like they could’ve gotten to .500 and been fighting for a playoff spot

The Chicago Bulls have agreed to sign Tony Bradley to a two-year deal.

Bradley spent last season with the Philadelphia 76ers and Oklahoma City Thunder, averaging 7.1 points and 5.7 rebounds in 16.3 minutes per game.

Can’t imagine green is thrilled about going to the cavs or pelicans at this stage of his career. If he thought Philly fans were bad wait til he gets to Boston
