I wanna say it’s going to be on another team but based off what the sixers are asking for and doing he might be getting that in a sixers uniform playing a home game

He's the typical person who can’t accept accountability for their failures. They tend to blame others so they can be the victim. He likely seems himself as the victim here when it’s completely obvious none of this remotely happens if he accepted his failures and began trying to work on them. Also doesn’t help he’s been pampered his whole life saying he’s great so he refuses to accept he is his own worst enemy.

you know he had to be crying inside when doc started taking him out of the game during 4th quarters.

Now i want him to play for Portland even more

It seems out of the question for us now that Green has re-signed, and Hill is being waived. Can't really match salary in a S&T now.

Oh it definitely is. Curious to see what he gets.

Don’t know if it’s true but would be nice

Ben reportedly wants to play for one of the California teams according to that tweet shared by Shepard Wong. Sacramento is probably not what he had in mind, but they reportedly were open to moving Buddy Hield not too long ago before the Lakers traded for Russell Westbrook. They supposedly offered a package to the Sixers including Hield and Marvin Bagley, but not one that included De'Aaron Fox or Tyrese Haliburton.

In a scenario where Damian Lillard and Bradley Beal are retained by their respective teams, the Kings remain one of the more intriguing trade partners left after the Bulls committed to building around their core with Demar DeRozan and Lonzo Ball and now are less likely to trade Zach LaVine.

Thoughts on this potential trade offer, if the Kings offer this year's 9th overall pick Davion Mitchell in lieu of Tyrese Haliburton in that package or a direct Simmons for Fox swap? Personally I would prefer the latter, but it seems like the Kings want to add more pieces around Fox rather than move him in a trade.

For what it's worth, ESPN posted a mock trade of Hield, Bagley, and Haliburton for Simmons. It's an ESPN Insider article, but the trade is mentioned first before the article is cut off by the paywall. I think that would be a reasonable compromise by both sides. Davion Mitchell is an intriguing prospect and some consider him an NBA ready prospect right out of the gate, but I'm sure the Sixers would rather have the proven commodity in Haliburton at the same position or DeAaron Fox. I would be on the fence if they only were willing to deal Mitchell along with Hield and Bagley.

I think at this point I would take a trade that included Hield and either Haliburton or Mitchell.

Bagley is the weakest part of that proposed trade package, so I feel you there 😂

I would take either of those trades over the reported Malcolm Brogdon and 1st round pick package the Sixers supposedly turned down from the Pacers. You would get two starters at the guard position in place of Simmons with that trade. The Kings would probably move Simmons to PF anyways with some combination of Fox and Haliburton/Mitchell at the guard spots.

I wouldn’t want Mitchell. I think he’s a good player but i don’t think he’s ultimately going to be a high end starter. I’d like a hield and haliburton trade. Doubtful the kings want to give up haliburton. Listening to Sirius former front office guy and espn insider elhassan talked about the kings would consider moving fox as those in charge now weren’t there when he got that extension and since their defense was so god awful they’d need Simmons defensively. However he still is higher on Simmons then most as well

If that's true, I'd settle for Simmons for Fox straight up. I read somewhere that the Sixers starting point for a trade is Fox and more, but I wouldn't walk away if we couldn't get "more" at this point.

Gambling on waiting for Damian Lillard or Bradley Beal to be available could go as bad as the Sixers attempts to trade for James Harden and ultimately losing him to the Nets. Obviously both of those would be better players to acquire, but would also require the Sixers to give up guys like Maxey, Thybulle, etc... There's definitely a trade off (pun intended).

Fox isn't ideal because he's not a good shooter but the dude can get buckets and defenses need to respect him to the rim unlike Ben.  You can't sag off to the foul line with him.  He's quicker and better at finishing then Simmons.  I'd take him in a heartbeat at this point.  I think he can be a good defender too.  That whole kings team was trash at defense so I'll give him a little leeway on that front.

Tbh i actually think of lillard or beal became available fox might intrigue those teams more than Simmons at this stage. I’d take fox cause frankly i think he works hard at his craft and wants to get better. I do think he has a chance to become a better shooter.

Purely hypothetical would you do it. Taking on Barnes who’s a bad contract. Bagley who stinks and basically just a 11 mil cap hit until he’s a FA at the end of the year. Sixers would take on money so the kings actually can clear some cap space from this deal. Bagley imo has little value but his expiring contract. He’s a pain in the ass and they want to get rid of him and his father. To me this trade comes down to Simmons and Harris with a first for hield and fox. Kings imo would jump for joy to unload Barnes and bagley money. Not sure they’d do Harris, Simmons and a first for fox and hield. I think they’d do hield for Harris (frankly i think Harris is a better overall player than hield). Simmons for fox i think depends on if elhassan is correct in that the kings FO is open to dealing fox and liking Simmons

not sure I'd want to become the kings.
