Thats fine. Id rather Petrusev make the roster over him. 

I wonder if other NBA teams are as hyped up on Paul Reed as 6ers fans are. He just does nothing for me. But I see he has 4 blocks and 8 rebounds so far. 

I wish Petrusev got more shots off. He only took 3, but he got 4 FT attempts. He knows how to get to the line so hes always going to put points up.... if he takes more than 3 shots in a game.

Can Springer get minutes for his defense this year?  He looks impressive on that side of the ball.  He has quick hands and looks strong already at 18.

The score was 85-50 and Greg Anthony’s partner was unable to subtract and figure out the Sixers were up 35.

You expect Maxey and Joe to put up points in that type of game. It was nice to see they did their jobs. It’s kind of like the year Jaylen Brown was dominant.

maybe if Thybulle is traded. 

I dont know how many non-offensive players you can have coming off the bench. 

Already going to have Drummond. Yeah, he scores points but thats mostly on oops and garbage cleanup. Not offensive skill.

Also going to have Thybulle if hes not traded. So youll have 3 guys who arent great. Plus Maxey who may or may not have a 3 point shot yet by that point....

Thats good. The organization wouldnt have made the right decision to bench him till he is traded. So through his own stupidity he is actually helping the team.

The right thing to do is make a trade for the best player you can get without including Maxey. If thats Lillard, or not so be it. 

Yeah I’m trying everything possible to get rid of Ben without having to give up Maxey. I think the kid is going to be pretty special. 

 

maxey looked good against g-leaguers in the first half. joe can still shoot but do little else. reed hustles. that's about it from game 1. the rest are developmental guys who shouldn't sniff an nba court this season.

It was only one game so small sample size but I got a little more out of Joe than you did.  He seems to hustle on both ends and he made a few nice passes in addition to his shooting.

joe does give pretty good effort. if he can keep from killing them on the defensive end, he could get some minutes off the bench to jack up some threes. 

 

and i really wanted to see bassey play....but he hasn't signed his contract yet so his agent wouldn't let him play. 

Joe could provide some nice shooting off the bench. One thing we keep talking about is how they're lacking scoring off the bench. Joe could be the guy that they can plug in to space the floor.

Reed needed to show a little  more on the offensive end but looked really good defensively. He may be a body they can put in as a small ball 5 to provide energy if Drummond stinks. 

If these guys can develop into a couple of solid bench pieces that's huge 

There were a lot of times last year I wished theyd put in Joe over Kork. But supposely Joe wasnt good enough of defense (as if Kork is). If he improved defense a little bit he should begin breaking in to the rotation. 

God bless you guys getting excited about some of these other younger players. If you think Doc is playing Reed over Drummond or Isaiah Joe/Springer over Shake/Korkmaz/whatever vet is brought in here between now and the trade deadline, you're playing yourselves. crap, I'm just gonna be happy if Maxey plays extended minutes (if he's still here).

Yep I hear you. But the players we have waiting in the wings are medium level stars on another team if utilized on another team in the future.

If we trade maxey, we will regret it.
