These games always have players who play in meaningful games. Just about all of our draft picks have played in summer league. And usually exciting 2nd year players like Maxey too.

Summer League is fun.  I went the year Fultz was a rookie.  Vegas isn’t really my thing but it was still fun.

When he stopped, Springer actually came to life which was nice to see.

I just want to see Springer, Petrusev, and Joe.

I dont drink/party at all. I only gamble a very little bit because I dont enjoy losing the money. But last time I was in Vegas for 5 nights my days were packed non-stop. It was actually kind of exhausting. Theres plenty to do and see there for anyone. I love it.

I was there for the national athletic trainers convention.

It was the same week as EDC so Id be heading between Luxor where I stayed to Mandalay Bay where the convention was, at like 6:30am dressed professionally, and all these mostly naked ravers were just coming in for the night. Someone looked at me and said "That sucks" 

That was my 2nd time traveling for work that year, and so they told me theyd only cover convention registration this time. Id have to cover airfare and hotel myself. So I took my wife and made it a bit of a vacation too since it was mostly on my dime. I attended conferences until about 12 and then would meet her at the pool for a bit and then we would head out at night. 

I guess it probably helped that the 1st half of my days were filled with other stuff. But it still felt like there wasnt enough time to see everything. We went non-stop to do things around town. 

Id say we tried 2 or 3 buffets. I remember the Luxor but dont remember which others. I wasnt impressed. I enjoyed AC buffets such as Harrah's and Borgata much better. 

It was the week of the NBA draft and I remember seeing the news about MCW and Nerlens Noel there. I was so pumped for those guys.

We went a while back for my 40th.  Only did 3 days.  Stayed at the Venetian.  I was playing video poker and drinking free drinks the first night and didn't realize it was 2 am.  My wife was dead and said we need to go to our room.  I told her I would walk her to the elevator and play some more.  Yeah....that went over well.  I am not much of a gambler...so video poker and black jack is all I do.  It was in August.....a "dry heat".  

Actually it was 9 years ago this week.
