I want no part of Harden. Yes he’s one of the great scorers, but he’s a selfish player. He will never win a title.

34ppg 7.5 assists 6.6 rebounds 1.8 steals 35.5 3P% 44.4 FG and 86% from the line on 11 attempts a game.

He is absolutely more than a scorer and his liability on defense doesn't exist anymore. His efficiency numbers would only increase with Embiid

And you wouldn't take that? Give me a break

Robert Woodard out of MissSt. is a kid I like in the 20s. He reminds me of Covington. 6'7" with a 7'1" wingspan. He really improved his jumper as a sophomore and if continues can be an underrated 3 and D candidate

No, I would not take Harden. I am 100% convinced that he will NEVER win a title.

I say Simmons for Harden works and the pick and roll with him and Embiid with Harris, another shooter/ball handler and Thybulle.

I'd take Harden in a heartbeat, but Simmons for Harden ain't happening.  We'd need to cough up a lot more.

Great insight

I don't tn want a top 5 to 8 player in the league because I think he wont win a title.

i don't like harden's style of play at all....but this.  harden is a yearly mvp candidate...ben is an all-star reserve.  idk why houston would even consider a harden for ben trade.  if i'm them, i'm looking to trade westbrook for a better fit/shooter.

When have you ever seen a perfect trade? Both are getting value.

And your great insight is that he isn’t a liability on defense, which is completely false. Just because he’s not as completely awful as he used to be, doesn’t mean he isn’t still a horrible defender.

Harden, like Westbrook, are two players who will put up numbers but never win a title because of their style of play.

So this makes Ben a horrible defender this year?

This isn't the Harden of 2015 2016 and shouldnt get compared to that player. He is an excellent low post defender, more than serviceable on the wings especially if you have Thybulle covering the best opponents wing/ball handler

To fit D'Antoni:

Ben to GSW for Wiggins, Looney, and the 2nd pick.

Drafting Killian Hayes

Richardson and 21 for Hield

PG- Hayes

SG- Hield

SF- Wiggins

PF-Harris

C- Embiid

Now you can run with D'Antoni

Figure out the best Horford trade then to supplement what we have there.

If hire DAntoni too many moves need to happen in one year for them to succeed and just depleting the already thinning out draft picks and young talented players on cheap deals.

I'd start with what I did there,  but eventually you have to trade Embiid.  Get some picks back there.

Don't think Kings would go for it, but something like that.  Doesn't have to be a 3 team.  Hield is pretty overrated and was riding the bench there and wants out but at least he can shoot.

So you got hypothetically Killian Hayes, Hield, and Wiggins. You got a shooting and scoring back court built around Embiid.

Again, probably eventually have to move Embiid after he is injured again, or disinterested, or out of shape, or all 3.  But its a start.

It looks like poor perimeter defense but in D'Antoni's system that team is running and firing 3s like crazy.

4-way of shiddy contracts.  That's kinky.  Hield will be the only contract left after Joel breaks down. Don't really know that it helps the Sixers.  Also feel like we should get more from the Warriors for Ben.  Maybe toss in Minnesota's top 3 protected they have for next year and would probably have to sweeten the pot for CHA.

The idea of wiggins disgust me. Find another team for him.

Yeah...he does suck.  I was just throwing sheet against the wall for fun.  We could do better for Ben than Wiggins and a #2 pick in one of the more underwhelming draft classes there's been in recent memory.

-39 decrease in projected wins. they went 43-30 so 4-69 after the trade?

D'Antoni can go f himself. Do not want that sheet here.

D'Antoni's scheme is fun and can get you into the playoffs but, it always flames out in the playoffs. Considering he lives and dies by great 3 point shooting he would be an absolute disaster with this squad. No one on the sixers fits his scheme at all right now. Even with Harden it's an awful supporting cast with his scheme.

I read (probably fansided article, not legit rumor) an idea for 2nd overall, Wiggins, Looney, and Poole

I can't remember if the idea was for Simmons or Embiid.

I don't think you'll do much better than that for either of them though.

Whatever they're using is severely over estimating Horford and Harris' impact on our team.

I'm pretty sure the last few years with all that harden has done, pretty much everyone that has won championships and have been around the game a long time have said you will never win anything with Hardens empty stat stuffing . Kind of like Russell Westbrook dude averages a triple double but, it's all empty stats.

I saw that too. It was Simmons

GSW fan probably wrote it.  They think they're entitled to superstars for next to nothing.  Most of them are 13 y/o or Agent.

Well we are trading away our three best players for garbage!
