Now, word is leaking out that Brand is pushing hard for the Sixers to hire D’Antoni and that Joel Embiid gave his blessing. In addition, there are reports that the Sixers will make trades if D’Antoni is hired. The expectation is that he’ll have a say in picking players for his freewheeling style of play.

i heard the compete opposite.   harris is pushing for d'antoni but the front office (brand) wants lue. who knows?

Pat runs that team not Jimmy though. I bet they wanted Beal but with Herro playing this way just not worth it especially with his rookie contract.

If they could pull that off that would be a steal. He is an average defender but does grab 4.5 boards a game and 1 steal a game. They only need him to shoot really

He lost his starting job to Bogdon, is in the coach's doghouse and wants out.  We'd have to sweeten the pot a little, but I think he is overrated by many and may be more attainable then people think.

hield isn't great...but yeah, he can shoot. that being said, i don't know much about his defense but if it's as bad as redick, i don't even want him.

Looking a some King fan opinions...they do talk about having to hide him on defense quite a bit and his lack of creation (that's why Bogdan took over and relegated Hield to 6th man).  Apparently Luke Walton's system isn't a great fit for him.  He played much better in Joerger's uptempo system.  Their fan opinions go from him being god to trash.  Very much like us with our players.

I’d take Paul as a temporary stop gap, but no on Harden. Yes he’s an all-time great volume scorer, but you don’t win with his playing style. Leads the league in scoring... but also in field goal attempts (and it isn’t close), and field goals missed. Didn’t even crack the top 50 in field goal percentage. Shoots a ton and misses a ton.
