I wouldn't want them starting until Embiid and Harden's contracts are up and then they all need to be unprotected for every other year for a decade.  They have nothing I want besides Harden.  Westbrook is the absolute worst fit besides maybe Wall to fit with Simmons.

I didnt mind the Lue/Billups but I think we probably ended up with the better combo.

If Morey comes here with those guys this is a homerun. And with the Doc hire, it may just be an attractive destination for Morey. You dont want to end up with some stupid HC who makes you look bad. Doc should help in our attempt to lure him. 

Was listening to Giglio and Eskin on the drive home from work and Eskin said if Morey comes in that he would be beyond shocked if he doesn't trade Simmons after 1 season.  Said Morey isn't afraid to turn over a roster to try and keep bringing in better players.

that is true, AND I would love for Morey to do that instead of Brand. 

This is the obstacle I always imagined could be an issue with ever trying to get Morey here.

Yes, they will contact Morey. He still has some resentment over the Hinkie situation and would require alot of concessions.

Trying to find out if this resignation was a preclude to another job or he wants to take time off

They have already reached out to him but haven’t heard any more details

I posted the wrong Tweet..... One on the 12th said Morey would be the new GM. He resigned today

Thybulle would be salivating to defend a shot like that.  He'd have about 10 blocks from behind.

Just the thought of possibly having a competent person running our front office is nice.  Will be heartbreaking when he turns it down.
