I would even try to make a wink wink deal with him and tell him we would like him next year or mid way through the season, if he changes his mind earlier.

Best I could do. Personally I’d need more first rounders. Give me the rockets first rounders starting 2025-2027, by then Embiids knees should be shot.

I don’t think he’s a fit with Ben. I added Portis. Him and Randall can step out and shoot the 3.

Mitchell Robinson is not traditional. He not a 3 point shooter,  at least not yet. 

But traditional centers weren't the athletic rim running rim protector that he is. He at least has that newer age element to his game that Joel has lost.

Sure but in a half court set he’s scaring no one if he’s handing outside the key.

I don't mind if we have a real point guard and perimeter shooters.

His athleticism, and availability make him an upgrade over embiid at this point.

Just wonder if theyll have the balls to make moves before the season or if there will be a feeling out period to see how they can try to make these guys fit first. And how long that would be. 

I would hope we dont take it beyond the trade deadline. If we dont start off on fire, I see no reason to watch this poorly constructed roster for yet another full season. Thats a waste of everyone's time. The coach's first year. Another year of Simmons/Embiid's careers. Fans lives..

So far ownership has been adamant about not trading either Joel or Simmons.
