Im not ready to give up on Harris yet. Want to see what doc can get out of him

id trade horford for a bag of doritos

I'm ok with trading Harris now if it includes a reasonable pick or young player with upside.

If you're going to settle for role players, abs basically just a salary dump, then you stretch that out to the deadline to make sure you're not making a mistake.

wow. Bey

Colorado's Tyler Bey reportedly set an NBA combine record for forwards with a 43.5" max vertical, sources told Jonathan Wasserman of Bleacher Report.

Bey also measured 6'6" without shoes, with a 7'1.25" wingspan.

Bey is currently ranked the No. 28 Best Available player by ESPN, and No. 7 overall at power forward.

Bey averaged 13.8 points and 9.0 rebounds last season at Colorado.

You don't seem to be remember what he was doing 2 years ago with Doc and the Clippers.

If he gets to that level and we add a competent guard in the draft,  and with the MLE we are really set well.

THE EXACT SAME STATS and a team that finished 8th and 10th in the West in this time there. Please enlighten all of us what he did that was so special that made him a star with Doc. The same star they traded about 18 months after they got him for a rookie and picks.

Come on. Hell I can type in worst contracts in Google and Harris name is all over

Bwahahahaha stop Bwahahahaha

I am providing you with facts and you keep telling me this where you can't validate a claim. Then a few weeks ago you mentioned you barely watch basketball outside of the Sixers sooooooooo.

Jerry West who has built some of the best teams in the last 20 years offered him 4 years 80 million. Harris turned it down and Sixers somehow think he is worth 100 million more. Or the real reason is the Sixers gave up all those assets and didn't have a choice but to pay him.

I know this. Separate discussion which doesn't need to be had because we agree.  Everyone knows that aspect of the story.

If you think he's playing at the same level he did at LA just because you checked some stats, you're wrong.

Stars don't have their points decrease in the playoffs by 4.2ppg, 3 point% from 36.5% to 31.1%, and FG% from 51.2 to 47.5%.

What else can you go off of? His PER 36 is the most baseline and accurate stat to go off for any player

Doc wasnt here for the playoffs. He stayed in LA.

I am talking in general terms. You called him a star and stars rise to the occasion.

He may be a good third option and I wouldn't argue that but NOT at the expense of the amount of cap space the Sixers are committed to. 35 to 40 million for the next four years is just asinine, when you can get two quality players for that price especially when you have two max dudes in Ben and Joel. The team will be extremely handicapped when those extensions kick in. We would agree trading those 2nds last year was beyond dumb knowing the contracts they have on the booms.

Getting two quality players that can create own shot, shoot a high % from 3, and maybe a pick would be the best they can get.

right now, hes a good 3rd option. With Doc, if he gets back to that level, hes a borderline satr 3rd option. Not gonna give him away as a salary dump for role players on expirings till we know if he can get back to that level yet. If we trade him before the season, its gotta have something better coming back.

Wouldn't be surprised at all to see Morey + Doc pump and dump on Tobias.  Doc made him look like an all-star in LA, enabling them to con us into a stupid trade for him.

After a couple months of inflated numbers, it will be easier to trade him and not get totally bent over in the deal.

exactly.

If you wanna salary dump him, that can be done at the deadline.

It would be crazy not to see if he can regain that LAC form first so you might acually get a better offer for him.

Not gonna just dump him for expiring contract role players at this point. Not yet.

The #GoldenStateWarriors are looking to land #BenSimmons in a deal including #AlHorford, #AndrewWiggins and their 2nd overall draft pick, per #NBCsports' Tom Haberstroh.

Harris Offensive Win Share, Defensive Win Share, and PER thru out his career. The league avg for PER is 15 with Joel  having a 24.8 and Ben at 20. For this season he is a 17.25 PER and that puts him at 90th best in the NBA. His first year with the Clippers he was 80th overall and 88th overall the year he was with the Clippers and Sixers.

He is basically Danilo Gallinari the same steady player throughout his career but at no point is he a star.

The faster Daryl gets out of that contract the better and he won't magically become some new player with Doc. Stats show who he is thru out his career and no magic fairy dust this year will change that or increase his value.

Bucks OWS .7 DWS .7 PER 13.7

Magic OWS 2.1 DWS 1.5 PER 16.3

Pistons OWS 2.9 DWS 1.8 PER 17.1

Clippers OWS 2.5 DWS 1.4 PER 18

Sixers OWS 2.4 DWS 1.8 PER 16.6

Sam has no interest. Hes a venture capitalist now. He bets on young people to succeed, plays the long game, and cant get fired for it.

If we do a three way with the wizards and minnesota where the 76ers get beal and 17, that would be best. Send Simmons to minnesota.

The only way I can figure out how this would work is I feel they also send us Draymond Green. Well I guess with Thompson too but I don't see that happening.

Who are you drafting?

I absolutely hate the top end of this draft and like the quality of guys from 10 on for depth reasons. I have been on record that want Hayes and guess if you want him go draft him at #2 and who cares if higher than projected.

Everyone laughed at Suns last year for Cam Johnson but worked out for them so get the guy they want no matter if a slight reach.
