If we're going to trade for someone it should be booker or the gem "LeBron". Let's face it 76ers owners are democrat. This giving Harris the big contract. It's obvious the microcosm they're painting. But shoot trade for LeBron he is the gem of the league and has the media and refs in the pocket.

Does the Cole Anthony sunken stock remind anyone a bit of Trae Young? I know Young still went pretty high but there were a TON of doubters by draft time considering his size and shot selection, not making the adjustment to the NBA. And then he also had a really rough first month, or months in the league too.

Cole's stock dropped after an injury. He may be a really dynamic scorer being slept on for misguided reasons. 

Is this potentially a Morey special? Pouncing on undervalued star potential?

Tra Young was up and down. His first 10 games were actually really good. Then he struggled for 10 or so more, then turned it around and had another good stretch. He finished the season strong though. 

Cole would be a great addition

Buddy is a career 41.1% on 6.7 attempts. Don't expect him to do much else but he is good at the one thing Sixers suck at.

Per Source, a trade involving Sacramento Kings SG, Buddy Hield and Philadelphia 76ers PF, Al Horford could be completed prior to the NBA Draft. I’m told that the Sacramento Kings are planing to "tank” this upcoming season to secure a top 5 pick in a top-heavy draft in 2021.

a deal like that seems too good to be true almost. Not trying to overrate or crown Buddy Hield by any means, but replacing a square peg/round hole guy on this team in Horford with a guy who brings a skillset we desperately need is only going to elevate the game of Embiid and Simmons, thus tremendously diminishing the chances going forward of possibly trading one of them, without leverage, which is a huge thing for me.

Going into this offseason I thought we were going to be adding Thybulle to Horford to just get rid of him and then move forward with a panicked Simmons+ for Brad Beal type of deal. Then, we added Doc Rivers and Daryl Morey, voices in the organization who can say hold up, we're not going to be bullied into a short sighted stupid move. Love that feeling so much. These Hield/Horford swap whispers just makes me feel that even more. No doubt Elton would've gotten pantsed in whatever moves he ended up making this brief offseason. His track record said as such. Now, not so much. Optimism has returned, which is a small, small victory, but one that I will enjoy.

The 2nd option is kind of scary on how bad a defense that would be. I think fans have to understand defense will start fall from elite if get rid of Simmons. He does one thing great and that is it.

Yeah.... Im aware. 

You still have Thybulle or Richardson on the bench, and there are always defenders available for bench roles. 3 and D players everywhere these days...

Its way overdue to focus on bringing some offense to this team.

I know he was forced to try to carry the team as a Freshman but I'm not really that high on him.  He's a scorer for sure but I think the NBA bodies might eat him alive.  His stroke isn't as pure as some of these other prospects but he's probably better at creating his own shot.  I'd be ok with him, not thrilled, but he could develop.  Wish I saw a little more efficiency out of him.
