Washington’s D is looking tough. They added Jackson at CB. Collins will be back. Drafted that Kentucky LB in the first round. Their Dline is sick. Might be the best D in the league.

I think he will turn out to be the best pick of the draft.

Tough call. He is a mountain of a man. Sounds like he has all the intangibles. Very talented. But can his body hold up? He’s 6’6” 340 pounds. That’s a lot for his knees and ankles to hold up. I wasn’t thrilled with the pick because I didn’t believe in his durability. But I do feel like he has a high floor and high ceiling when on the field. So if he can go....he’ll kick butt.
At pick 150 getting Gainwell I thought was great. Not thinking of him as a lead back type. But he’s a weapon. Not sure how often he gets involved week one.....but he’ll get there. See him as a playmaker. Not high volume. But impact from his minimal touches.

Milton Williams really interests me. This kid has huge potential. Not thinking he’s totally NFL ready. But he brings a lot to the table. Not sure what scheme Gannon will use. But think Milton’s versatility works for several purposes along the Dline.

Dickerson was a black belt at age eleven. Also an Eagle Scout. That’s a great combo to have.

Milton is so athletic for his size. Believe he can get even bigger.

4.62 40-yard = 1st

6.87 3-cone = 1st

38.5 vertical = 2nd

this is Miltons ranking of all Dline over 280 pounds over the last twenty years.

PFF had him breaking their single season win rate percentage.

Great position to have Milton in. Have Hargrave and Fletch as bonafide starters.  So Milton has to compete with Ridgeway to earn snaps. Nothing should be given to him. Got the best for him to learn with though to start his career.

Read an article saying Milton came into camp at 291 also stated that he never weighed less then 280 last season and played at 285 most the year. Said he could definitely add more weight if needed as well.

I believe Dickerson can be great at either G spot and C.

At his size he's unlikely to be the same type of center as Kelce. Not saying that's a bad thing as he should hold up against the big DTs better but he won't be out on the edge leading a sweep.

If he is though that'd be something to see.

Dickerson's age, looks like he got the Eagle Scout a little before they destroyed the Boy Scouts with woke BS

To be fair, DL in their 280s will have higher stats, but even among them is pretty good!

Milton? Interesting. They pay for premium packages to do better scouting for analytics, so I guess. Was not a lot of film available on youtube.

Question/poll - Would you be interested in picking up LeVon Bell? Not that we need another RB right now, but in the event our 2 FA RB pick-ups  fizzle. Sanders,Bell,Scott,Gainwell seems like a decent enough backfield

I'll pass.  Like you said when you were angry about claiming Johnson.  Just takes more reps away from the young guys.

Actually that isn't my reason, just want to pass on this particular person. Trying to culture build now, don't think he is ideal for that.

Got some big guys to deal with in Wash and the Giants. But yeah, I think we can probably make an easy assumption that a bigger power football mentality is the goal for Siri.

Culture reasons I agree. Kind of feel we could use a reliable blocking vet as a fourth RB. Sanders, Scott and Gainwell ....more finesse types. Howard looks washed to me. Johnson looks probably like the top option on roster right now...not that he’s old and grizzled.

Isn't Gainwell supposed to be a good pass blocker.  You get one in the room,  it can be contagious.

Since I'm not a big fan of Sanders,  I'm good with him not ever seeing the field on 3rd down.  Seems like Scott and Gainwell are good 3rd down RBs.   If Stoll can make the roster as the blocking TE,that should also help in that department.

Kind was thinking Gainwell could be a move around option.
Goedert and Stoll could really move the pile in a Power Attack. Passing wise....a guy like Stoll is good for a double team. Which isn’t great to need. But realistic occasionally. Like potentially dealing with Chase Young wrecking a gameplan.

Sanders I’m a big fan of. Dude is a really good. Torments DC’s in their nightmares the week they have to worry about him. One of the top threats out of the backfield to take it to the House from anywhere. His rookie season he showed he can be good pass catching. Something he hadn’t done in college. Pass blocking? That’s his biggest weakness. Just get him serviceable in this area and he’s unbelievable all around back. Really expecting Sanders to be the engine of this offense. He’s our guy! Going to have a HHHHUUUUUUGGGGGEEEE season!

Just thought he may be an improvement, at least over Howard/Johnson(HOJO) lol and we know he can be a 3 down back if Sanders goes down

Playing with a SUCK team doesn't do alot for your outlook/attitude. I think we are better than the Jets on the Oline,so he would do better here than there

Oh well off to shop.Having a cook out at a friends place and my job is orange/ginger drizzle shrimp skewers 🙂 (I got this lol)

June 1st is a big cut day. Expecting every team to pretty much make a move.

Yes I know, but with the slew of backs they had didnt use him much,so basically I will forget his time in KC

OT-have a great Memorial Day. I thank those that sacrificed,so we don't have to. They died so I could cook shrimp, on the grill without worries. To those on the board that served,TY for your service.Off to cut shrimp tails and get them on skewers before I go

Just thinking the goal is to infuse this team with youth. So I think we more want the Kerrigan type vet. Guy that comes at rock bottom cap hit but quality pro for the typing to learn from. If we are rebuilding....you should concentrate that rebuild not just on youth....but culture. Need the right kind of guys to invest in potentially long term. Once you build up a strong locker room of vets you can more easily bring in one talented Primma Donna type without him disrupting too much. Don’t get me wrong,,,,I think we do have a strong vet presence. Fletch, Graham, ..several more. We have several rooks going to be in the Dline room with them. RB room I don’t think needs Bell’s mindset. Feels like it would be more disruptive potentially. Sanders going to kill it this year. He’ll be up for a big contract in a couple seasons here. Really don’t want him thinking like Le’Veon did with Pitt. Just best left as a cautionary tale.

So everyone here knows I’m not super sold on this coaching staff as the top notch answer. Kind of think Rosie and Lurie might actually be with me..,actually ahead of me on this mindset. Basically I actually think this is their plan: Retained Stout to continue the Oline development. Brought Siri in to develop receiving. Most instantly jump to WR. But receiving goes to all skill positions. RB and TE also. So develop those areas with the young talent on offense. On defense we brought in the DB specialist. Maybe could classify him on the coverage side of development. That could include hybrid types and assist with the LB coverage. Got the solid vet presence in the Dline room to lead that youth. So our whole situation is a temporary youth development program. Going to stress fundamentals and that level of football. Get a team ready to bring in the staff that can contend.
