Sure he was pissed. But it was very subtle. Kept incredible control of the team through all these shenanigans.

You see him after he left the Eagles?    How would you characterize.... reading between the lines like you do so well.... how was his mood.   Was it like someone who was disappointed to be out... or relief like he was just let out of prison?

Mostly though...I’d say AR and Pedey are very dependent on their Oline. I mean every coach is....but their offense more so than most anyone else. So the Oline issues were a killer last season. Yeah, for both...tough SB for AR missing both T.

Here’s my I was first moment yet again. I questioned why Foles would want to risk tarnishing his reputation here. He’s loved here. Everybody else thinks he stinks. He’s made money. He’s good. Just enjoy the one bright spot.

Yeah, you could say the same for the QB with the addition that the QB is the one who physically suffers with a bad OL.   2 huge reasons why our former QB is in Indy ...with the main reason being that the poor OL made Luck retire early in the first place.

Why are you coming to me in hindsight?  when I’ve been trying to explain the issues for a couple seasons to you now. Glad you’re catching up!

If you were good somewhere, and you enjoyed playing there...  if they wanted you back, what would be the main reason to say no?    Probably because you don't want to enter into their current situation.   He's a backup ... the expectations are for Hurts, not for Foles to do anything here.  He would have nothing to lose.   If he stinks taking over a team where Wentz and Hurts couldn't do anything ... you think anyone would turn on him?   even the biggest idiots would realize that it isn't a QB problem.

Because in your easily manipulated mind... you think Doug left due to Wentz.  His issues are with the front office.

BTW, I don't even think Doug was fired.  I think he just avoided quitting to make sure he got paid, but pretty much knew which buttons to push to get himself let go.

That four mil a year to relax and recharge was well earned

I think he was right and his point was well proven. He needs to hire his guys. Things went downhill with most every decision they forced on him after the initial setup. So I’m not going quite as far as you. It was time to get out of Pedey’s way and let him do his job....or fire him.

I’ve been talking about his problems with the FOfor years now....with you. HELLO!!! Anybody home?

Pascal AND Pittman both were most effective running Drag routes. Next was Crossers. Then quick screens. Then we see the idea is to take shots down field.

I’m looking at this and obviously translating it over as expectations for our offense. Smith my expectations are immense. But this is mostly out of the slot. I’m picturing Reagor’s athleticism  instead of Pascal. Huge plays! Quez and even Hightower. They have the Go and Fade downfield in their repertoire already. It needs fine tuning....but it’s definitely  there with all of them. They all can kick butt in the quick screen game in multiple ways. So it’s up to Siri to teach them the fine nuisances of crossing the middle. Most is play design. Clearing out with other guys to set it up and all. But the receivers must learn how to read the depth and be on the same page with Hurts. Reagor did plenty of this in college. So he should explode!

Obviously this all works best off effective Playaction.

Thing is, those FO problems aren't going to change anytime soon. Seems they let their "new" coach have his way year 1,then the twins start playing around, trying to pretend they are football guys, interfering more every year of their contract. When their interference stops working(if it ever worked at all),they scapegoat the coach. Seems this is a pattern I have seen over and over after AR left

Make sure you watch those videos in that link. Now instead of Pascal you have our three much better athletes....this is not including Smith even...Reagor, Watkins and Hightower. They will take these to the house! So much stress on a defense. But pretty high reward with low risk. Mostly pretty simple passes that shouldn’t be in danger of being picked off. Then let the Playmaker run. Watch Pascal again. Oh yeah...our guys can run though.

Seems like the plan to me. The Wonder Twins upstairs already are working on their coaching hire for 2023.

We’ve learned how after each game Coach has that meeting with The Wonder Twins. Even after wins they grill him about why he didn’t do...such and such.

Most teams try these. It's what you do when those fail. Crossing routes are a no brainer, this is where Jjaw failed..BTW who had a better RB unit when these stats were taken? If you establish the running game that makes setting up drag and crossing routes alot easier? We gave up the run and got on 3rd,4th and long's,not situations where tou can really bank on a crossing route

How the analytics department was used by them to combat the coach

LOL no it's one year of letting them show they can do well,2 years of intervention, year 4 is clamps coming down because the FO thinks they know it all. That sets up your year 5 firing. Tht'a been our "5 year plan"

The crossing routes were downfield. You’re referring to the Drag Routes.

So what was our most efficient pass pattern? We didn't gain enough passing yards to even register on this type report. Our report would be "incomplete", not enough information

A Drag underneath with our speedy guys that can hopefully avoid tackles better....can handle getting the third and long yardage. (Not saying third and twenties. Just normal third and longs for all you smart a77es hahaha)

We were very efficient throwing to DBs.
