OH, BTW, that f'n Dr that started the whole the anti vaccer thing on totally disproven theories - disbarred! Vaccines are dead virus! They may make you feel sick, just your immune system doing its' job. Wish Republicans would do theirs!

And before you flame me, Dr Fauci;s credentials are world renowned, the other facts are from the Lancet, the British Journal of Medicine, not the us FDA which is partially funded by the pharmaceutical industry - what, you didn't know that either? Lol! OK, don't keep this up, we're back to football

Goddart over Ertz/ Meh. Stats lie

Mike, you suck! You only tell the truth and what's proven, with real science to back you up - I hate you

Oh I hate that real science stuff, back to Rush Linbaugh

Onlu Rush I really liked was this;

Kinda fun back in the day.

Why do you have to  be political about everything here?

I come to this place to get away from political crap. Too bad you can't see there's plenty of blame to go around.

Why is it you can be political and I can't? I don't want to be, but when peeps talk nonsense that hurts others, I have to answer with actual science in the hope that just maybe they'll listen, maybe even learn something and get through this thing. It's the teacher in me. At least I have the degrees and really professing what science has proven, not some political BS. I would never, ever, ever say anything on this board or anywhere that is not scientifically correct. The only way to get me to mention it on this board is when peeps say things that are harmful - it's an afront to my profession! If everyone would shut up about it, so would I. If they want say things that just aren't true, I have to prove them wrong in order to provide correct info that may help them - it's my duty! I take great pride in my welding ability - MIG, TIG but mostly old school stick - even upside down! I also take great pride in upholding my oath as a teacher. You want to talk BS, I'm just here to correct you. Don't talk BS, we'll talk football. Better yet, substantiate what's said, tell the truth and help everyone get thru this. I for one can offer a site to get NIOSH approved KN95 masks. They're not the pre - covid N-95's like I wear from previous jobs, but they're NIOSH approved, meaning they're approved as substitutes for hospital use. That said they're made in China, I ordered a few but a buddy of mine runs a gas supply warehouse and has some actual 3M's with my name on them.

Howard Mudd passed away

Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap! I really wanted the band back together!. Besides, he's more than worth the risk imho

Like Brooks, he;s one of those solid guys I want to hang on to.

Hey - I'm old school! Had a spinal fusion and can outdo anyone 65 yrs young! Aug 3rd BTW

Thanks Ham. Many may not remember Howard. If you didn't want your QB sacked, he was the guy to get - RIP, prayers to his family. Can actually remember his granpa like face on the sidelines.Never met him, seemed like a nice guy, smart.

I don't see this.Which RB do we have thats gonna take 45% of the snaps from Sanders? My thoughts are Sanders is at 75-80%.he was rockin at the end of last year and is a viable weapon and IMO that guy';s on the field every play he wants to be on the field. We dont' have the Blount/Ajayi 1,2 punch unless Warren is a stellar find we didnt know about.Sanders is fired up to have a great season,I'm not quashing that by making him play less than he wants

The combo of the other guys.... like I said.... 50 to 66% ... it should vary.   This was last year's snap count.... Sanders at 52.9%   The Eagles had 1184 offensive snaps last year... using same # ... Sanders would have had to have 154 more snaps to get up to 66%.  Basically another 10 per game.    RB is a very exhausting and tough position physically.   Much to the team's advantage to use multiple guys.

https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/nfl/snap-counts?year=2019&team=PHI&week=ALL&position=RB&op=Submit&form_build_id=form-tiGa6DT57CjEsE5fm54P97nMDMWtFWQahRDGIMokfAg&form_id=fo_stats_snap_counts_form

The next link has the snap counts for all the RBs...    Note McCaffrey 93.4%,  Zeke 83.3%,  Fournette 82.9%,  Bell 77.1% , Gurley 71.1 ..... only 5 guys over 70%.    Chubb and Barkley were over 68% ... the rest of the RBs in the league ... nobody played 66% of the team's snaps.  Only 9 guys played over 60%.

Sanders was ranked 17th in snaps last year...   Right at the half point for " starting"  " lead"  " 1st string"  RBs.

Ugh! So covid prevented JJ from Dak contract?????????????????????

Didn't prevent a lot of other signings did it?????    The BS meter is off the chart here.    Dak was smart playing for the tag this year. The big $$$ is coming for him later by doing so.

Thanks for your research Joemas. I have no prob w/ Sanders in on 50%, don't know why peeps would actually. Still that makes hime the lead guy on RBBC. Makes for a longer career, fresher legs. Guys like AP - who I really, really wanted - are rare. Long career, can still bring it, just not as often ( kinda like me, lol ). RB's in there 75% - see ya, short timers. Getting my knees shot up ( hyalgan ) again Fri. Stuff works!

Quoting Dr Fauci, masks can prevent 80-90% of transmission. Good masks can only help so much, but add to that that if you do inhale someone's virus breath, you'll get a smaller dose, which may allow your immune system to overcome it and maybe build a very temporary immunity. For all those anti vaccers out there, a vaccine against other viruses may help the bodys' immune system to fight it off, something suspected to be happening in those who spread the disease w/o symptoms, who also may wind up suddenly dying. Yeah, you will kill others w/o feeling a thing - great for you! Biden will have a plan Jan 20th, almost exactly a yr late under the previous admin who just thought it would magically disappear. You know, that war time guy who never served cause of those bone spurs after playing all that squash at his private school. He doesn't believe Fauci but some woman who believes women can get impregnated by witches in their dreams! Once a putz.......... I know. I never promised but did sy I wouldn't dude it, I dude it

Not to be political, because I hate politics.   What was Dr. Fauci's quote on Feb 29th on Good Morning America.    I agree with some of your points... I think this was an unknown thing around the entire world, not just here.  One guy isn't going to control the whole country's behavior... but if you had to look at one guy, who is supposed to be the #1 expert?   Then go look at his stance as of Feb 29.   This is the big picture issue.  While idiots try to make this political, the scientists themselves didn't know enough.   I don't think we get the whole picture until about 3 or 4 years down the road.    If I had to add my two cents.   Look at the geographic areas and the numbers.   The logic of being outside vs inside with something like this... is it coincidence that #s were bad up north during the winter/early spring when it's too cold to be outside... got better when it was warmer.... vs south where is was warm early on but then got too hot to be outside later.    Regardless, there are too many unknowns about any of the #s.  What counts as a case, a death, a test, a recovery???      As it pertains to the NFL and this year, I'm doubting we have a complete season.  A false test can create enough panic (ie Phillies)  throw in a few legit positive tests and how are they handled, it can get pretty messy for sure.  You need everyone all in IMO for this to work.  Players can opt out now... no issue... but once someone tests positive, creates a bunch of new issues during the season.  His team, his last opponent, his next opponent...etc.   32 teams for 17 weeks... 60 players and all the coaches.... IDK?

Yeah... AP with that long list of playoff wins.  But I get it, some guys just like the stars.  I like them at QB and on the DL.   RB relies so much on theOL, in today's game with the salary cap and pass happy play... he's a weapon for sure, but not the dominant position that it used to be in regards to impacting winning.

Derick Henry the beast himself.... only 59.2% of the plays?????    To me it's not a volume position, it's about the potential of what you could do while you are out there.  Sanders can easily impact the game just as much playing a little over half the snaps vs playing 3/4 of them.  It's what he brings on those snaps that matter, not how many he plays.

AP was just so tough, played younger, faster, surer. Man, if I was a QB, what a better weapon to have?

As for the season, don't feel like it will happen - it;s just the responsible thing to do, esp now with the evidence of the heart and lingering health probs. Better a yr off and you and your family are healthy. Wiser minds will soon prevail. They have to or I'm learning this curacao lingo for nothing! Well not as I really want to go there anyway, seems really peaceful, something I want, need.

IR rules are different this year. I heard as long as they miss three games then they can return. Alshon could go to IR instead of PUP.

Hadn't heard that. Lots have been down on Alshon, he's been injured and nobody's cutting him any slack. Walk a mile in his shoes! A healthy Alshon's still a nice weapon to have. Will be another yr older but even more rested next yr. Going to be interesting what happens to contracts if this season's gone

Alshon was the best Eagle on the offense by far vs Miami.  Looked much healthier.  I believe all a blessing in disguise.  At the start of 2017 everyone was all excited to play with Wentz.  He was basically the MVP through 13 games.... then he gets hurt... all the BS ensues after we win the SB.    I think the way last year ended... any fool could see that Wentz is the talent and the leader on the offense.  The beauty of it, is that any BS that could have been out there as far as Foles doing anything better and Wentz not being the leader...etc.  No WR can come into the locker room now with any of that attitude.  The performance of say ... Wentz, Foles, Alshon and Agholor ... kinda obvious now who is better and who should and will be the leader.  Very important for team dynamics.  I like an Alshon coming in humble with something to prove.  If an opponent sleeps on him, they will be in trouble.

Is Alshon humble? Or is he pissed as hell? Does he feel he got duped by Rosie trying to trade him?

Well Joe,this snap count can be taken 2 ways.If I have no WR threats to speak of(which we didn't),it wouldn't be all that wise to pound my RB for 3 downs as they would be keying in on him as it is.So,in my view we STILL tried to throw(dinks and dunks) so when we DID use Sanders, there was a chance he could do something when he did touch it.I was pleasantly surprised he did as well as he did under the above circumstances of being keyed in on.This year we have WR's(hopefully they remain healthy),so with the success Sanders had under bad conditions,I suspect we see him handle the majority of the snaps now.I also believe he WANTS those touches,,so I will stick with my prediction of 75%.We shall see.

Good question.First we need to remember he was a bit MIFFED because of his targets(or lack thereof),so to prove a point Rosie said we'll trade you if you are unhappy, and suddenly we didn't hear a peep out of Alshon. I think what Rosie did was to let Alshon know that anyone is up for trade if you are going to upset the locker room or disturb the culture we have here.I could be wrong, maybe it was a legit trade offer but, IMO,it was just a threat and if he continued down that road it was a threat that could be done.I'm happy with the culture we have established here and the fact the FO won't EVER let one guy disrupt it

He dropped the ball that ended the 2018 season.  Howie got him on the team that won the SB.  He was paid nicely.  He should come in humble.  His QB is the franchise. He has a opportunity to be one of the weapons.  If he is pissed at anything or brings any baggage..  he can stay home. Make a pro bowl before getting any attitude. Otherwise, come to work and shut up! Life could be a lot worse.

Idk about teams " keying" on him?  We run 2 TEs or 3WRs .. that spreads the defense out enough.   I don't care how many snaps he " wants"   We are a passing team.  He already played the majority of the snaps last year, so I expect that again.  I gave you numbers where 154 more snaps would have been 66%.  I don't see Doug and Duce using him more than that , just doesn't make sense.  75% of 74 snaps per game is 56.  Why use him that much and only give the other guys 18 snaps combined?   Doing that for 16 games? I don't see it.

Took the granddaughter out riding this morning. She's 6 and the horse is about 20 so he knows quite a bit more than she does.

If he was the source of the locker room BS last year he's on thin ice anyway.
