Be nice if we could start Dillard and extend Mailata while he’s the backup.

We have an interesting situation at LT my guess it is the final year for one of those guys as an Eagle.

Fully expecting Slay to have a rebound season think he still has a solid 2-3 year of high end quality CB play in him.

If Dillard wins the job we have Mailata as the backup swing T. Could hopefully resign him like that. As a fairly high priced backup T

Then I’m looking for him to take over at RT.

In the future hopefully

PFF three year ranking of Eagles salary cap…..”Their cap is frankly a disaster, with more prorated bonus money through 2023 and more total money allocated to void years than any other club”

With Driscoll here and the market for Ts it seems unlikely… Perfect world Mailata can take over for Lane Dillrd at LT and we have to young book ends…

Reality is likely be Mailata or Dillard and the other will be gone next season.

Derius Guice Had his charges dismissed. Big time talent potential Washington drafted in the second round. Would you bring him in?

No not worth the headache with a new coach along with the fact we already have so many young RBs

Miles Sanders-24

Boston Scott- 26

Kerryon Johnson- 24

Kenny Gainwell- 22

Two of these guys we can call locks in Sanders/Gains they are no going anywhere. Honestly if he is healthy don’t think Kerryon is going anywhere to much value as a pas protector likely the 3rd down back(underrated hands as well).

So really the only spot I see that could be taken is Boston Scotts

You could argue Guice being a better pure rusher than this list though

You can also argue he isn’t the man has done nothing in the nfl has dealt with injuries and got in trouble…

Wow Chris Simms is not a Hurt believer at all left him off his top 40 QBs in the nfl list… I mean I have my reservations about Hurts but 40 QBs being better…

Had guy like Kellen Mond on the list, Drew Lock(though advanced stats did have Hurts as worse throwing then Lock)…

Love it! Pile on all the doubters.

Hope your right… I get where most of these guys are coming from the eye test and the advanced stat show Hurts wasn’t good as a passer last year. Needs to take massive strides in year two.

Looking at Chris Simms list… Personally as of right now I’d probably put hurts around the Tyrod/Lock/Mariota…. I’d have Lance and Fields higher then those 3 along with Tua as well…

So Hurts probably be around that 36-38 mark right now based off what I seen last year and what I thought of him coming out of college.

I don’t agree with the list at all. Keep disrespecting the man. He’s coming for them all.

Lmao by the why you are hyping Hurts up is this man isn’t in MVP talks he failed

I don’t think it is disrespectful if you have some facts Hurts the passer was bad. Some advanced stats by PFF show how bad he was compared to other QBs. He has some massive strides he has to take.

Now I do think he should be in the top 40 QBs but as of now he is in the tyrod Drew lock tier until he shows more.

MVP? Or just not below top 40? Huge gap in the middle for me

Sam Darnold is 19. Cam Newton is 20. Taysom Hill is 24. I’d rather ride with Hurts than any of them.

Hurts is pretty much better in every area than Taysom. Pffft …..you kidding me?

I would w/o a doubt rank Hurts higher than Cam Newton.

One man's opinion. You have every beat writer do a list and every one would be different. The dude is giving Newton respect. Not sure why anyone would give this list any credence. I would say let's see what Hurts does this year before making any informed opinion. We saw him in 4 games with a banged up line. Hard to form any sort of educated opinion based on that. So I can understand why he was ranked so low.... What has he done to date?
