So if he has no experience at all, then he would be more able to get injured when the season started,so catch 22

What this makes no sense lmao… Got no issues with a guy playing I just don’t want to rush a guy back to get injured. Especially with our track record with injuries.

JJ produced from day 1. I'm tired of excuses,DO YOUR JOB

And devante Adams took 3 years what’s your point lol yes I’d love to have a JJ that produces day 1 but doesn’t always happen. Some guys take little while.

SO why is this ok for TE's but not for WR's like Smith?

This doesn’t help your argument at all because I’m talking about placing Jackson on IR and sitting like 8 weeks to heal up right. Same approach I have for Smith want him to be healthy first and foremost.

Just want guys to be healthy they aren’t getting any reps on the sidelines injured all year because we rushed them back

Jackson is an inexperienced roster bubble guy this season. But he could potentially develop in to TE2 next season. That is where we are at in my mind with him. It also appears to be a need.

I don’t think he was roster bubble think he was clear cut #3 possibly #2 TE depending on our decision with Ertz.

Jackson outplayed all the TEs not named Geodart and Ertz. That an impressive feat for a guy playing the position for a year and some change.
But I agree with the inexperience which is why I think he would be best suited to come back if healthy and be on the roster get actual reps in practice at TE.

I liked Juriga as a developmental backup. He got injured and cut though. Tough to carry injured nonpracticing dead weight on this roster. We need young guys that can practice and hopefully…..play hard.

If it comes down to a choice between JJAW, Fulgham or an injured and out ten weeks Jackson…..couldn’t see choosing Jackson.

He is on IR still have him

Kerryon and the other cut also got placed on IR

I can lol you cut Rodgers keep Jackson on the final roster… then place Jackson on IR no risk of losing him doesn’t have to pass through waivers plus can return when healthy then resign Rodgers…

Wow, 2 mos away and not much happened! Guess it's time to at least learn the names of the guys who can make this team. Will watch it tonight and pray for no injuries! Of course hearing the NE POV - sucks! Spent 2 mos in PA and nothing on the Eagles news, BTW - was totally aggravating trying to do things for an ungrateful mother in law

No Hurts tonight that sucks sounds like the rest of the starters will play

So my point is what good is "health" if you have no experience and get injured because of it. I mean we can keep everyone healthy if they don't take a snap. Why are we letting Hurts play then?

So no chemistry for your starters and your #1 QB-got it(this is stupid lol). I hope Siri knows what he;s doing cause IMO this is pulling "a Ped" lol

So Smith will take the field for the first time in his NFL career, yet the guy that needs to connect with him won't play(lmao)

Agree GB, turned the game off, still mot ready to watch almost nothing

We were trash in the first 1/2,just AWFUL

So all the " we totally shut out the Pats" in practice, meant ZIP on game day

Hurts isn’t coming off an MCL injury again not remotely the same lmao…. Smith is coming off an MCL sprain hence my concern for playing him…. Not a guy being fully healthy

Hurts was out because of illness from report

Well that's different, why didn't they just say that earlier?

Welp for 60 minutes we could not even get into FG range, thats fairly sad in pre season. Smith showed the flash I wanted to see. Gainwell looked ok. IDK what to think about Holyfield, he runs hot/cold. Tonight he did ok,so suppose he sticks around to replace Howard after this year as the basher back, but he still needs to improve. Overall tonight was disappointing and lackluster. I don't mind being lackluster if you can execute your vanilla plays, but I didn't even see that tonight. EVERY QB for the Pats looked sharp relaxed and ready to go

He looked better than anyone else we fielded.SO I am glad he got some snap time in

Soooooo…..if the starters don’t ALL stay healthy, this team might get blown out EVERY game. Pats probably could have scored 50 easy against this bunch.

Sure hope the starters are a LOT better because the product they put together tonight was AWFUL!

I do like Gainswell. Singleton looked like the ONLY guy playing on D the first half.

I'm afraid we'd better get accustomed to this

This team better hope the O line stays healthy and DOMINATES and that the D line is outstanding too. Otherwise, oh man! Yikes!

Agreed! Outside of the starters on OL & DL????  I thought both lines played like they were overwhelmed tonight.
