I'm not suggesting anything(although you could if you wanted to),but there is a QB controversy on the SF bay. I suspect they start Jimmy, but could see Lance early on. If that happens I also suspect Jimmy would immediately ask for a trade. Will be interesting to see what transpires there especially if we see Hurts struggling more than anticipated

I would also like to note that rarely do you see QB's run in practice or PS games(due to injury risk). So that could be a potential "secret weapon". I like Hurts alot running for the TD from 5 yards in. Wentz? Not his style, so I hope that equates to more RZ scoring for us

I will ask this question of the bored also. Do we cut a RB or keep 4? 5? 6? I doubt we cut Gainwell, that puts Holyfield/Howard as RB4/5. And stash 1 on the PS. We need to remember we have a stellar draft coming in '22,so those depth players not only have to show their mettle on the team we have, they need to be better than any upcoming draft pick as well. I scouted ahead and I see Stingley at CB next year .But,you know we don't draft CB's high. Next year though, we have so many high picks we better change that history while we can and if he performs well this year I would have NP taking him first

I doubt we see any starters tonight. The Jets are missing two starting olinemen, so it would be pretty dumb to put Wilson out there with backups. The Eagles seem to be happy with how the joint practices went.

I am interested to see how we perform on an even playing field, with our second team playing their second team.

We jumped all over Huntley when he was let go,but we rarely see him play. So why did we hurry to get him if we had no plans for him?

I would like to see the starting offense play. You could probably hold off on starting D guys if what you said is the case, but as i said I don't believe Hurts and Smith have played a snap together in a "real" game. I think they need some experience together before the season starts

Maybe insurance? Didn't we have allot of injuries last season for our RB's...?

Might keep him for ST's he can return kicks......

IDK Sanders,Scott,Gainwell,Holyfield, Howard,so where does Huntley fit in? Unless we keep 6 rostered. I think he's too good to stash on the PS, then again we never see him. I think he needs played and pushed to make some kind of decision. Seems he plays well enough to avoid the PS, but not good enough to displace anyone. I think there will be better choices in next years draft.if that's the case, then we need to turn him loose NOW

Holyfield at best will be on the PS… wouldn’t be shocked if we went 5 RBs though.

The Eagles could look at a RB for WR(or another position swap)…. Could look at trading Scott for a guy lot could depend on how we feel about Gains… Eagles don’t seem to have much at WR after the top 3 Smith/Reagor/ Watkins…. It’s only practice so not trying to overly jump the gun but Fulgham/Ward/JJaw really haven’t done much it seems like. Put it another way it’s sounded like JJaw has had the best camp of those 3 from all the things I’ve seen.

Andy Isabella could be a name the Eagles look at could be cut by the Cards.

Cards are just loaded at WR with Dhop, AJ Green, Kirk, Keesean Johnson, Moore(rookie)

I doubt that because this should be Howards last Hurrah,so I could see keeping Holyfield rostered. Don't need to get him poached off the PS. If he needs replaced we have a nice draft coming up IDK alot about Huntley, never saw him play

Don’t see us keeping Holyfield don’t think the team is concerned about Howard who is at best the 3rd RB needing replacing next year. Nor do I think the Eagles are concerned about Holyfield being poached since he has been on our PS now for two years.

Personally I’d rather us not use 5 roster spots on RBs but if we did I’d say Huntley gets the edge for his return ability

Holyfield seems to be improving. Return guys are a dime a dozen, that's no reason to waste a roster spot just for that. That's like rostering a spare kicker. Quez can do return duty and there are others who could. If we aren't concerned about Howard then why was he signed? We need young guys not old retreads

We also need to decide what to do with Hightower and if he fits in this offense as a BU

Pass protection where he has literally been the best RB over the last like 4 years. As for Age Howard is only 26…

Sanders is 24 and Scott is also 26…

Snap count matters. He is more used up

Huntley also has sounded like he has vastly improved… We have one of the worst return games in the nfl I mean if they are a dime a dozen like that why do we suck at it??? Also we are talking about RBs which are a dime a dozen… Keeping a 5th RB in general seems like a waste and is like rostering another kicker.

But as I stated if we did go 5 RBs I’ll take the two dimes the guy who can play RB and return for me. But that just my take on it.

LOL right, until you lose 2 RB's to injury(which we have a knack for losing players). I suppose it depends what the BU RB's specialties are as to whether they are as valuable a BU kicker. No sense rostering 3 scat RB's as BU's,but I'm not rostering a RB just for returns, that's foolish

I’m not rostering a RB on the off chance 3 RBs get injured and he might need to play that even more foolish lmao. Hell at least Huntley would see the field as a return man while Holyfield is riding pine all season waiting for that injury to 3 RBs
Like I said to me Huntley is way more valuable then Holyfield matter of opinion but in that same breathe i don’t think either should make the team our 4 RBs should all but be set.

Sanders/Scott/Gains/Howard
