Unrelated to the Eagles, but Sewell is poop for the Lions. He just made a play that makes Pryor look like an all pro.

Another PAC-12 Softee. Not surprised.

Welp gimme a report that the 1/2. I am stuck with the Panthers game (as usual)

Amazing how much better we look when our backups are actually playing backups instead of starters.

Also, that move by Scott was nasty.

Michael Jacquet literally got beat on every big play that drive. How he was on the field last year is beyond me.

Difference in scheme and what they are asked to do. Sounds like he just doesn’t fit with Gannon considering he is a fringe player that was likely dependent on scheme that’s fine

I don’t really find this as a positive at all those backups will likely be called upon to play starters…. Just because they faced starters last week doesn’t give them an excuse to be shut out completely

Also playing the Jets

Really, you don't find something positive? What a plot twist.

Lmao I’m a fairly positive individual on most things so don’t know what your getting at…. Take that dumb crap elsewhere

Like what I see from Gains again. He smells the hole and hits it from what I've seen so far.

Carolina looks pretty coherent. Darnold still getting settled. Could be a team to contend with if he gets his act together. O line is a bit shaky for them and Darnold needs a faster release. Fix those little things and they will be in the hunt. WR's look good and Terrance Marshall is making his mark(the guy I wanted  if we hadn't taken Smith). Without Caff in the backfield I suspect they are teeing off on Darnold,so it may not be as bad as it looks

So besides jacquet anyone playing themselves off the roster?

Yes, LOL the guy who allowed the 2 point conversion for the Jets to tie the game at 31:lol:

The TD prior to that goes w/o saying.

Thinking Pryor.

Fulgham had a bad game.

We'll find out at 4pm Tuesday lol

Pryor should have been off long ago really. I know he's versatile but when you suck at every position you play I don't think that's a very desirable trait to have.

Jack of all trades, master of none

Reading the recap(sent by TD 123) sounds to me like more questions came up than answers. At least Flaaco can play. Mullens needs to hit the bricks. Scott looked terrific. Gainwell showed why we drafted him. I thought Fulgham could outplay Jjaw,so now there is more of a question at WR(*BU) than before. I thought it was pathetic that Smith did not even dress. There's a real morale killer when your #1 draft pick is not even included for the final practice game. What? Was he going to trip over a spent gatorade cup and break both legs? I find this "don't play them" rather annoying, but at least let the kid dress and feel like he matters. That's a -1 on my Siri check list. BAD decision IMO. So correct me if I am wrong, but we are going into the season with Hurts and Smith never playing ONE SNAP in a "game" against an opponent  Sorry, I think that STINKS, especially when your opening game is one of your better chances to put up a W all season

Siri valued the joint practices more then the preseason games. Whether that is the right cal or not we shall see I guess.

Also yes you are correct Hurts and Smith didn’t play in any preseason game.

IDK IMO joint practices should be where you decide to cut alot of players. The bubble guys should play in the pre games to see if you are making the right decisions on cuts. Without those 2 playing it's just another game longer until they gel and I would think Siri would want to get that started ASAP,so I was rather surprised they didn't even play 15 minutes together, especially since week 1 is a game we could possibly win. But yeah we will see. I (once again) hope we can pick up some decent DB's as BU's from other teams cuts

Quickie analysis. Needs to add 10-12 pounds. Not supremely fast but he offsets that with ball awareness and nice reaction time. Uncannily seems to be in the right place at the right time(aka ball awareness again). Needs to learn tackling below the waist. Seems to have zero issues "mixing it up". SO, in my amateur opinion he is worthy of us picking up. He is still developing but has the skills and would be easy to get into playing shape at least as a BU. He looks like his development is going well,so it's not like starting from scratch. Add some muscle weight, work on his speed a bit,but I love this guys awareness on the field. Of course we won;t get him for some dopey reason, but he has more potential than some we have on our team. If anyone from Novacare is awake and has already had their coffee, get on the phone to this guy. He's only 22 and his ceiling has not been reached. IMO since we don;t draft DB's much,he would be a basically free draft pick without spending a draft pick lol(but what the hell do I know?) Also of note, he SHUT DOWN LSU's WR's(not easy to do). WAKE UP HOWIE!!!! HERE"S A FREE PLAYER for Gannon's toybox
