A'06"07 /'06" 08 TE that can run...with good looking hands in his very small sample...think he is going to IR really liked what I saw of this kid in TC.

I was talking about the Edge guy, Tarron. But yes, Tyree the TE was on my radar too. Can't wait to see him once his back fracture is healed.

He was referring to Tarron Jackson the DE from Coastal Carolina who also has seemingly had a quality camp.

He's the one that can play inside also, right?

Tarron can play inside also. Milton can play outside also. They kept Patrick Johnson and Avery as extra rushing options. McGill has flashed in that area inside. That’s all behind Hargrave, Fletch, Sweat, Graham and Barnett. That’s a ton of blitzing or rushing options to get after the passer.

I guess it was down to him or Jacoby Stevens. Two opposite type LB prospects. I’d say that is a telling choice about this defense.

Been saying for awhile we wanted that hybrid rush LB someone like Barr in Minnesota not shocking we kept guys to play that position.

Actually brought in Wilson from the Vikings who is known more for coverage.

Yea that has nothing to do with the position Gannon wanted though lol… Wilson play completely different spot then Barr and was talking Avery/Johnson who fit the Barr mold (though nowhere near his level)

Yes that won out over Jacoby

Didn't he break his back? Why keep a roster spot for that guy? I liked him too, but he may never play again.

Eagles kept Ortega Whiteside and cut Travis Fulgham? Still think they will win more than 3 games? JK. I have no idea if that matters. The team lacks talent across the board.
in terms of the cuts, the only one I was a bit surprised on was Howard. Not shocked or disappointed by any of the others.

Just looking at the depth chart in the secondary…..oh man….opposing QBs gotta be dieing to play the Eagles. Slay…and……yikes.

I really am not concerned about the cuts. Half of the people who made the 53 won't be here in a year or two anyway.  This team needs allot of help. Most importantly it is keeping players like Jackson around because of his potential that I like.

We have some young talent. Now we need to improve on it moving forward.....

Praying Hurts is the answer.... Will go a long way making this team competitive sooner....

I know, thats why I want us to pick-up AGG and Samuels as a DB(PS).Both have upside/potential/futures. For once though we are NOT looking for ancient, barrel bottom WR's and another SHOCKER our WR's made it through pre season with no injuries(AMAZING!! LOL)

BTW where is my boy Wrang?

I pretty much agree with this. But it looks like the team knows it can put Jackson on IR and then bring Howard back in his spot with very very low risk.

IDK if Hurts is the answer. I don't suspect he is the next Manning. He seems to me more on par with a guy like Mariota, who ran his team awhile with some success, while they built the rest of the team,. Then when that got done, they plugged in a better QB. Seems like a similar situation here. I am looking for 6 wins. I will be especially interested in the games we LOSE. I know that sounds strange, but I want to see "how bad". Did we lose by 25? or 3? That will tell me how far along we are and while every team has that occasional blowout(either way) I want to see us play consistent even in losses. We will win by "squeakers" and I am guessing that happens 6 times. I want to see if we are "in" the other games or if we fold up the tent. FOr me this year is the year to find the players that will be here 3-4 years because the next draft will be the one that brings in the rest of the needed talent. It will be tough for some on our current roster to stave off the young studs we get next year. But that's always what it's about, getting the best guys. If the team plays well and Hurts is mediocre I would expect another shot at a "franchise" QB. I'm sure Hurts know it too. I believe our goal is to make this team look enticing to play for, even if we lose. I know some were saying Wilson, but I can't help turning my attention to Aaron Rodgers who won't be with GB next year. I would like to form a team that would entice him to play here. At least a decent looking team would give us options in that regard

Once again we have a shaky secondary and LB's. Seems the coaching change didn't change that much. Is it bad water in Philly????

Our starting CBs seem better then anything we have had in years though with Slay Nelson and Maddox…. Depth is likely a concern at least on the outside Zech struggled in games but is a rook and Scott had a good camp as a nickel CB.

At least they are paying a small amount of attention to these 2 positions..BTW just curious.Whatever happened to Vander-Esch?(NM I will look it up)

https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2022/consensus-big-board-2022?pos=LB  LB is my weakest subject. But I will post this for you guys to watch as pick-ups for us next draft. I am also interested in Stingley at CB. But we don't high draft either of these. At any rate as you are watching college ball these are the guys to watch for. BTW they have us taking their concensus #2 CB,but IDK if we draft one that high,we never have(well we did with Jones but that was only because he was a steal). But seeing as we will apparently have picks to burn,I hope they lose that mantra

Believe waivers claims finally started at noon EST so image we might start hearing some names moving around.

3 I want -Yeboah at TE and AGG at WR  and Samuels at DB. AGG is already better than some of our BU's(this is a no brainer IMO) Always a Yeboah fan,put him on the PS and see what happens, ditto for Samuels

Fulgham and Hightower weren’t claimed so image they go to PS
