No I disagree I think his value will be low regardless... Him getting on the field might make a few more teams interested but don’t see his value increasing much as I stated agree disagree don’t care. What is the realistic value you think we get for a 30ish WR right now I’d say maybe a 5th or 6th for alshon if he shows he is healthy maybe and it’s a big maybe we could land a 4th so as I said don’t see a huge value increase

Right now I say ZERO.   After he plays a game and shows he will be able to actually get on the field for sure .... then we can probably get that late round pick, but right now I don't see us getting anything until teams know for sure he will play this year.   I think we would have traded him already if we would have had that offer.  Don't think it;s there.

What I'm getting from all the line musical chair BS, is Dillard is a WASH and a wasted #1 pick.sounding more and more like an MS 2.1

Unfortunately it's going to take another year to find out for sure.

Jags released Fournette I know that was Hams boy

That fine it’s your opinion I disagree lol

I’m basically thinking the same with Dillard but at the same time hard to really judge. Thought he played decently last year at LT and we didn’t get to see him really this year because he got hurt.

Im going to hold some sliver of hope for him but we should definitely be looking to get a T in the next draft

IDK,it's a damn mess(again).I would say start JP at LT and spell him with Mailata ,and on those plays call a QB roll right or pitch out (just in case lol).Dillard is beginning to piss me off.At least using this approach we are "set at LT" and now can work on the RG spot.We need to make this call NOW with 2 left to go.It just makes the equation easier to work with

You have to pay JP to play LT so unless we are going to move forward and pay him his startling LT money unlikely at this time. So at least for practices sake I’m looking at everyone we can.

I have James over Jones...and Douglas at this point. And he’s a stud ST.

Everything I’ve seen and read Douglas is by far our best backup CB... James might add extra value as the STer but purely CB play I got Douglas

SO,we're back to soft tissue issues again?(Same as it ever was) How can we field a pro team,if we can't make it through practices uninjured? Pathetic

If it makes you feel better from your hat I read it was something he could have easily practiced and played through team just targeted him sit and be 100% for regular season

With Alshon most likely on PUP and Reagor now out for at least 3-4 weeks Goodwin opting out the year

Thinking Deonaty Burnett is on the 53 to start the year. Had a pretty strong camp it sounds like so far.

Of course Djax/JJaw/Hightower/Watkins most likely make the team as well. Seems like a lot of WRs but I was thinking we kept 6 guys anyway.

So you think if we were offered a 5th round pick yesterday, that we would have turned that down?   For Alshon who has no guarantee to play.   For a season that isn't even guaranteed to finish .... and for the cap space that it would save us?    Not to mention any of the other possible locker room stuff ....   you don't think Howie would have jumped on that offer already?

A few months ago we were talking that we were going to have to offer a pick to the other team to take Alshon off our hands.   Now it's flipped to where we could get the pick before he even gets medically cleared?

Now, just to be clear.  I'm not going as far as Ham in saying we need to force feed Alshon the ball etc.   I'm just saying that I think if Alshon suited up and showed he can move around, that it would be the obstacle that needs to be cleared for other teams to actually make an offer.  The ability for him to play ASAP as opposed to having any doubt that he even can play at all this year (not to mention the COVID situation)     I agree with you his value is a late round pick and it wouldn't go up if he had 10 catches in his first game back, I'm just saying that right now, he has zero market due to too many unknowns that could prevent him from playing in 2020.

Jeffery will get activated in Oct but only for a possible trade option. You might get a team that loses WRs and is a team that could go deep in the playoffs and WR is the missing piece. We might not get much for him but its possible. Wont happen until he is active though. Possibility is very slim though.

If Jeffery is not traded by the deadline, Id expect him to go on IR the rest of the season and then cut next offseason. I dont see Jeffery ever playing a down for the Eagles again. Seen this a few times before with a high player the FO/Coach or other players had a issue with in Philly. Lito Sheppard is a prime example.

6 was for sure going to happen

With Jeffery and possibly DJax gone next season there is no way they were letting the chance of Hightower and Watkins get snagged up. So those two with DJax, Reagor, Ward and JJaw are for sure. Jeffery on PUP until trade deadline then on IR if no one will make a move for him.

With Reagor out could see Burnett make the cut now but for how long is the question.

My 2 cents on WR and LT.

WR... regardless of who is in there now.   They are currently practicing with our QB.   So it's a much better situation that we were in down the stretch last year once Alshon went down.  The other thing is that they are young and were draft picks, instead of just guys of the street.   Which means I'm excited to give them reps, being that the idea is that they are in the future plans.   We can't say that with the guys that were brought in at the end of last year, that was not the original plan.   So it's a plus in my mind.

LT ... I will call Peters into the office,  Have a nice conversation.    Give him the choice.   Conversation goes like this.  "  You are a potential HOF, right now with a good reputation.  WE have paid you a ton of money over the years, you missed plenty of snaps and you received all of your money.  You had the opportunity to go play elsewhere but you didn't take it.    So, right now we are at a crossroads. WE could use your experience at LT.  In your contract, you signed to play with the Eagles, it doesn't state a specific position.  Not sure that the look of wanting more money helps with HOF stuff and with your teammates/ fans?   For us, we are strapped vs the cap.    So, how about we let you decide one of 3 things.    1.  You let the coach decide where you play   2.  we release you and allow you to explore other opportunities further.    3.  WE could redo your contract ... but we can add this in.  Your pay gets docked for every snap you miss, it's not guaranteed at all.  You get hurt game 1 and miss the rest.... you get 1/17 of your salary and that's it.  However, if you play all the games at LT it will end up putting more money in your pocket.

" We feel for you JP.  WE appreciate the career you've had with us.  We appreciate that one playoff win vs the Bears in 2018.  WE want you to decide how you want your season and legacy end up. "  Think about it and let us know so we can pass the message onto your teammates as they put in the work to prepare for this season.  "

I would guess until Alshon is activated then cut Burnett to make room for him and if he clears waivers and we can stash him on PS

IDK, I think it's not as bad as people say.  At that point it benefits both to have him suit up if there are no trade offers.  Lito was on decline and not as good as the Asante and Sheldon.  Alshon, there is no doubt at fulls or close strength that he is one of our top WRs.  Also, everything we here is speculation, on the surface Alshon has not said anything negative, it's all behind the scenes.   If he plays one game, he not only shows he can do it physically, but also that we have no issue keeping him.  Both allow for some trade value.  From there, the IR thing could happen if there are no takers or issues etc.     Remember we signed him as a FA to get him out of Chicago, won a SB and then paid him well... never putting him on the bench.   Much different than drafting a guy who had no choice to come here, not paying him, and taking him out of his starting spot like with Lito.    Alshon has zero reason to be angry.  Neither do the Eagles for that matter.  All about business now, they can both benefit from him suiting up.

IDK if we'll pay him OT money. He already signed a contract, does it specify where he plays? Maybe they can add in alot of incentives, but I believe he signed already?

Great,we are starting off with a WR mess again and we haven't played ONE game.I would put Ward in here.he was the "best of the rest".Also just a mention that they are working my boy Kills at WR.he is a RB by trade, but he CAN catch. So it will be interesting to see how we use him.Swiss knife would be my guess

I disagree.I'm not paying 10 mil to a player NOT to play. He's definitely "rested" lol, so if he can play even at 80%,he's starting.I may trade him for a PLAYER(say a young C,OG even a young LB prospect) But a 5th isn't going to help us much anyway. So I would rather pick up a PLAYER with some NFL snaps rather than take yet another rook in round 5 who is not a lock to make the roster.Maybe we can trade for my WR Justin Jefferson HAHAHA(yeah right)

He signed a contract.if he doesn't want to play LT for that money, then he plays RG(as planned) Maybe someone cuts a LOT(although rare) or possibly thats where a trade for Alshon could happen.Interesting stuff to see how it pans out.You could probably find a 1/2 way decent LT for 10 mil(trade for Alshon).Right now the ever whiny Dillard is our issue.I'm really SHOCKED because he looked good in college, but it seems he doesn't want to scuff his nails in the pros

That what he is asking for to play and said he won’t play T unless he gets it. And I definitely don’t want him at T if he isn’t going to try and play it so forcing him isn’t a good idea

Lmao why risk it for practice I’d have done the same thing

I’d rather play it safe make sure he is 100% for the regular season over risking it to get few extra practice reps and he injured something seriously
