Shhhh.  Stop the negativity.   It's the modern NFL ...  the running QB is in.  The intangibles are through the roof.   But I don't see how it will work either, but I'm good with sticking with it for 2 seasons... really hammering the point home how it's not a winning formula, so we leave no doubt within the entire fanbase and organization.  So there is never another run first QB taken.  Either that, or Hurts steps up big time and surprises me.   

But if/ when it fails... I want Howie out, I don't want the coach to get the blame.   Which it looks like some are already leaning that way.  Idk if it's the right coach or not, but I don't want Howie picking coach # 5.

Again, disagree.  Team is perfect for the bubble screen,  short crossing patterns and the quick deep ball down the sideline.   All for Hurts.   Stine is onto it.   This is Howie/ Lurie redoing the Chip era concepts.   It's why I think they wanted Doug out,because Doug didn't want nor could he design plays for Hurts.   Not his type of offense.  Siri is the more " modern" coach,  better fit for Hurts.   Isn't the QB coach a Hurts family friend.   Don't kid yourself,  this whole thing is catered toward Hurts.   And I don't think he is failing as much as I think the whole concept just won't work.   

Now this could go down 2 ways if it fails.  One, Howie could be out.    But my fear is the second one, which is Hurts and Siri take the blame as sacrificial lambs. 

Of course if it works to a certain extent,  then Howie and Jeff remain the smartest guys in the room. 

Really thought it was a great gameplan by Moore of the Cowboys. Completely exposed Gannon’s D. Double our DT and run at Wilson all night. Then their mediocre TE get wide open once we overreact.

You guys are buying the BS coach speak. The D is catering to the players. Wilson is great at missing tackles. So Gannon puts him in a position to miss plenty of tackles. Playing to his strength. The offense is so catered to Hurts that Sanders is our most talented offensive weapon that gets two carries. All to help Hurts out. Wouldn’t want to give him any rushing attack to playaction off of. Nah…..this isn’t a college offense. Watch OK with Hurts running the show. This looks like peewee league stuff. Rather just run the Wing T.

You mean playaction which PFF graded Hurts as being the 31 out of 32 QBs???? Hurts has struggled coming off play action… 

Gannon’s d was exposed. Saw this coming. Can he adjust? Sure hope so. Siri’s O is just sad. Don’t see any hope for him other than Hurts playing Superman and carrying the whole thing.

I get play to Hurts strength let him use his legs use the short passing game but we still have to attack the other areas to keep teams honest.

I don’t even have issues with the RPOs but if you opt to pass then pass the ball your read should already be there when you decided to pass look at Foles when he runs the RPO…. You can’t decide not to give to the RB then act on running decide that isn’t there then try and throw by that time OL is 8 yards down field instant penalty. 

But Foles RPO was either a handoff or pass.  I don't mind RPO.   The gimmick is with the 20 QB keepers.  That helps nobody develop when only one guys keeps the ball.

And Hurts has those same built in options joe hence the name RPO run pass option….Hurts has the decision during that split sec to handoff, keep it or pass…. The problem is when he opts to pass he holds the ball and doesn’t fire right away like he is supposed to… Can’t hold the ball on RPOs when you decide to pass hence then illegal man down field penalties 

Play late vs Dallas really show cases it Hurts keeps the ball on the RPO has open TE he is suppose to hit in the flat likely gets a first down… He holds it runs right hits a man on a nice pass for 20 yards but because of that extra time holding the ball OL was down the field penalty instead of a gain first down we are moving backwards

Glad your buying the coach speak. Siri is making Hurtslook great. Your buying it. I think he’s killing us and looks way over his head. Give Hurts a legit offense to run  to give him a legit chance. Rock Paper Scissors isn’t going to help here.

So already you can say we drafted well the last 2 years?  Yet you constantly bring up JJ and complain about Hurts.  Those are the 1st two picks from last year.  Watkins makes up for that???  Am I missing another player?   

And it's more than draft, it's the whole philosophy, team building, allowing the Super bowl winning coach to do things his way...etc.  Some big money given to aging players, doubling down on positions while leaving others bare.   

I know you get obsessed with the draft,  but there is more to it than that.

Idk....the previous QB didn't have too much of help with the running game either....didn't seem to bother you as much.

Buying the coach speak no go back and look at Siri history tell me where he has run the RPO???? Didn’t do it in Indy didn’t do it in SD with Rivers and the Chargers 

Cheifs weren’t an RPO team from 09-12 

really kinda easy to see that the RPO concepts were brought in for Hurts 

Instead of blaming everyone and thing around Hurts why don’t you actually look at the short coming of the actual player

I agree ....it would be different if we saw guys open and the QB just missed throws.  Or even the QB missing reads.   But we aren't seeing that.
