Lmao really college film against arguably the weakest defense conference in the nation???? It’s a different league when everyone is as fast as you and guys aren’t running wide open all day…

Think Hurts should have seen that when he was running to get the edge and Smith was right in his face basically all game spying him

And Hurts has those same built in options joe hence the name RPO run pass option….Hurts has the decision during that split sec to handoff, keep it or pass…. The problem is when he opts to pass he holds the ball and doesn’t fire right away like he is supposed to… Can’t hold the ball on RPOs when you decide to pass hence then illegal man down field penalties

Yes... because when you are a great runner, and have used that all of your life playing on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons..  it's harder to pass up running with the ball.   Foles didn't have that problem...either the RB got the ball or he saw a pass he wanted to make.  The QB keeping the ball, while a great option on a couple of key plays per game, isn't a long term winning formula when it's used too often.

Glad your buying the coach speak. Siri is making Hurtslook great. Your buying it. I think he’s killing us and looks way over his head. Give Hurts a legit offense to run  to give him a legit chance. Rock Paper Scissors isn’t going to help here.

Like the one we had last year?  That legit offense?

Look at all these RPO highlights…oh wait…where?

Hurts is good buying extra time escaping pressure in the pocket. He also has fantastic running ability. Not seeing how anything going on here now is helping Hurts at all. None of this makes any sense to me. You guys please keep trying to explain how this offense is good for Hurts. Not utilizing the RBs is good for Hurts how?

I have to be honest... I haven't watched 3 minutes combined of Siri speak.  Didn't pay attention at all during the offseason to any Eagles news once the draft was over.   The Bull@t didn't interest me.  I don't care about concepts,  schemes, ....or " intabgibles"

The one clip I saw last week on the news was Siri taking blame for red zone play calling .  It was refreshing to me because it seemed legit...not the BS " gotta do a bedder job dare" crap that we've heard since 1999.

I'm not focused on any scheme of anything,  just want to see players who I legit think we can win a SB with.  I like the punter and Watkins so far.

I'm good...  what he does going forward is all that matters....how can we put it for you in Hurts lingo...  oh yeah... " next months rent is all that matters"

Time for Siri to go

Any point where you realize Siri isn’t an offensive mastermind your trying to make him out to be

Worse….sadly

Then why is he our HC??? We have the offensive weaponry finally, but the expiration date isn't all that far off. Wasn't he the OC in indy? if he's not offense oriented then he's the wrong coach. Gannon looks like a nice D coach. Once again like Schwartz we fail to give him the tools, but he makes 2nd rate players work(Hargrave,Slay and maybe Epps are ok). So the strategy it seems has been since the SB to re build the offense. For the most part the pieces are in place or at least many of them. That brings me back to the QB position and the lack of production and while I am capable of surviving "growing pains" I see no growth at QB to suffer through. It's simply not there. At least not for me. This offense is set up for a "gunslinger" not a dink and dunk indecisive QB(which is what we have at the moment)

Siri playing Rock Paper Scissors while everybody else is playing chess

Sooners ran/run a ton of RPO concepts actually they also used a ton of short throws…. can’t really see that on a highlight film that only shows the big play moments not the development of the plays

Not sure how you can’t think firing Pedey for Siri was a terrible idea. But I’ll stand alone here..again

Who said that? Siri was hired for his supposed understudy offensive minded expertise, but this "HS concept" is not going to work in the NFL-EVER. Now what did Howie hire him for and did Howie know he would put in a HS offense? OR did Howie say "do whatever you want to do". if that's the case Howie failed the vetting process, which would come as no shock to me,or was he hired to imitate Reich? I suppose we will never know that answer. Suffice to say a HS scheme is not going to work in big boy land. Siri needs to step back and reasses what his goals are because right now it's a HUGE FAIL

IMO... Hurts is just limited.  He does what he does well.. then it comes time to throw the ball.   Can you honestly say you think he has thrown it well ... on the plays with a little degree of difficulty?   I see 3 games.... ATL was a brutal defense, he didn't mess up.  Last week IMO he played his best game.  He was not good last night.  On top of his arm limitations, he missed some easier throws and reads.  That was easily his own worst game ... even with what 52% completion last year, this was still his worst.

But let's give him a chance.

OMG I gotta LMFAO. A legit offense??? We spent numerous draft picks to do just that. Smith is going to be a star(maybe not here at this rate). Reagor is ok,I am still not a fan, Quez looks terrific, but we can't get the ball to these guys? Siri doesn't throw the balls HURTS DOES. Sanders is NOT shopped liver. How about opening some running lanes???  Step back Ham. The ONLY problem with this offense is the QB's failure to deliver the ball,or even hand it off "running plays" need to be called seprate? They should NOT,if the QB knows what he is doing and Hurts does NOT

Instead of blaming everyone and thing around Hurts why don’t you actually look at the short coming of the actual player

I like Watkins better than Smith.   But wait ... show me the college film....lol.

Gannon’s d was exposed. Saw this coming. Can he adjust? Sure hope so. Siri’s O is just sad. Don’t see any hope for him other than Hurts playing Superman and carrying the whole thing.

BS Gannon's defense was GASSED because we could not move the chains, Hurts is not even Wonder woman. Siri has to work with what Howie gave him. He used to coach with Luck and Brisset, both DIFFERENT QB's and all we have is a cheap Brissett copy. Now find me the next LUCK and we will be fine. You drop Aaron Rodgers into this offense and watch us GO!!!

Quez is explosive and the fight to get the ball can see coaches trying to get guys to do that there whole careers to see a guy naturally do it is nice… Haven’t had that aggressive attack the ball pass catcher in awhile

Sure Hurts has shortcomings. He also has strengths. Everybody does. He’s making some mistakes. But this offense gives him very little chance. If you believe he’s limited then why not run the ball with handoffs. Sanders averaged what like 13 yards a carry…so you only call two runs. Blame Hurts for everything. It was his fault Smitty fell and the pick six happened also. He let their offense go up and down the field by missing tackles also. Hurts should have tackled Zeke. It’s all Hurts fault.

Ward I like also. The point I was making to Ham is we have the offensive tools. But you're not building a house when all you have is a wrench. Qeuz was a nice surprise, and Smith is a rook. he would be formidable with the right QB under center(see JJ's rookie numbers last year)

Sure Gamnon’s D was gassed from the opening drive they chugged right on down the field.
