It happened again weeks later. Dealing with extreme winds in Buffalo, the Eagles’ duo of Howard and Sanders combined for 170 rushing yards and two touchdowns in a 31-13 victory. When Pederson met with Lurie and Roseman days later, he was questioned for not throwing the football more.”

I was there... wind was brutal... great weekend,  except for rain during tailgate and wind during game.

Lmao 7 teams make the playoffs last time I checked your going to tell me week 13 Indy is in the playoff hunt they are going to pull Wentz to save that draft pick????

I get it 100% if Indy is eliminated of course they will pull Wentz keep the first but that only works if they are eliminated early enough to

It's a long season.  With the current injuries and schedule, Indy is in trouble.

7 teams make the playoffs.. we can agree that it only effects the wildcard.

At the moment with the AFC favorite KC at 1-2.  The West has Denver and LV at 3-0.   Chargers are 2-1.   Let's say the Colts can overtake 2 of those teams.  Do we think one of them will be the Chiefs?  I don't.   So that's a tough hill to climb for those other teams.

The North has 3 teams tied at 2-1.   Cincy probably can be caught.   The Baltimore game in 2 weeks is a huge match-up.

So the division to me is probably the easiest way in.    Tennessee is already 2 games ahead with a head to head win.  They play the Jets and Jags next.   They go head to head week 8.  If Tennessee wins that one... the math to get in the playoffs could look really slim for Indy.  With @ Buffalo and Tampa back to back.

I don't think Indy waits until the mathematical elimination to not play Wentz ( if he is healthy) which is a big if with all these backup OL in there.

I always like your insight. We don't always agree, but your points are always well thought out. I appreciate that.  The point you bring up here leads me to question, if it (offense) is that limited, it sounds like you might need new players? I think this roster is devoid of talent. I am pleasantly surprised with Hargrave. Cox is still the best player on the team. I do think Slay is a good CB, but doesnt appear to play hard on every play. Johnson, Goedert, Kelce are core players. Ertz just doesnt appear happy to be on this team…cant blame him. The WR group is average, but may develop. I know some here dont like Jeagor, but I see him as a quality #2 guy. Beyond those…I like Mailata, but he is not PROVEN. I like Sanders, but I like Gainwell for less money. So really three on defense and three on offense that are real quality starters. That is a group devoid of talent. So when the guy that touches the ball on every offensive play is LIMITED, you have LIMITED chance of success. And the other players are not good enough to overcome those limitations.
Might as well go for it on 4th down every time….jk…sort of. 😳

By the way, somebody here REALLY thought this group was going to win 10 games? Whoa! I still have them at 4…..Jets, Lions, Giants (once). I jjst hope they dont have any more prime time games. Last night was too embarrassing!

Yeah... new players and some of the younger ones developing.    Time will tell which category each player falls into.    But as far as limitations....the arm limitation is not something I see changing.   It's going to make it difficult.

Well we should be working on the running game because there will be outside games still played and if Hurts cant throw in calm wind, when he is IN wind we can expect 8 picks that game

You betcha. When Hurts does toss long how many hits to the back of the helmet do you see? I'm going with 75% the other 25% don't make it there at 50 yards out. Hurts accuracy also in question, alot of those long balls are going to be picked off. I'm still not taking a QB high next draft off the table.

Come on dude... wait til at least past Halloween on this.  Lol

Nah if there is interrest in a guy you need to watch the games they play

QB's vs punters and kickers. I find it comical(and sad) that from our punter and place kicker we DEMAND 2 things- Accuracy and long distances, but when we choose a QB, forget that stuff . How nice is he and how good is his EZ dance routine? One must set their priorities 🤔. You don't need to be super intelligent to play P or K,but you need to have some smarts to play QB. So assuming you have enough intelligence to play QB,why do you try the same failed plays over and over expecting a different result?(remember this is the definition of stupidity) OH  there is some other guy in the way called your coach. Both the coach and the QB make big money because they have more intelligence(in theory). If you run the same failed plays over and over, then it's more like GROUP stupidity(such as giving up a successful running game lol). Standing in the way of abolishing group stupidity is another person called the general manager, who we assume was hired for his innate and superior intelligence(or BS spin) far and above the mid management QB's and coaches. If that person is blocking the abolition of group stupidity, then how smart can that person be? Which leads me to, if the general manager is not the crack intelligent person in your organization, who cannot assess themselves nor alter their perception of what is stupidity, then that falls on the team owner, who by and large can be smart or stupid because since they have the money, intelligence is not a necessity. In closing,if we demand 2 things from our P and K and the QB is more intelligent, then we should not only demand what we demand from a kicker but also demand from the QB and coach that they find things that work and abolish the stupid plays that don't. Sorry, just thinking out loud (I really need to give this up) 🤣

Center Jason Kelce (77.6) and left tackle Andre Dillard (77.4) were the #Eagles highest-graded offensive players vs. Dallas, per .

Sherman signing with TB,more defense for them

It could or it could mean nothing by then Indy wins next 5 sitting at 5-3 lose to Titans they are 5-4 do they bench Wentz at 5-4???? No they don’t

They split the next two games they are 6-5 do they bench Wentz????  Doubtful

That would be 11 games Wentz plays  13 games he likely hits the 75% mark

Yes Joe the Colts get to a point where it’s highly unlikely they make the playoffs they are going to pull Wentz it isn’t hard to see that just like it isn’t hard to see the Colts keeping Wentz in if they have a good chance to make the playoffs.

the only big difference I see from you is it’s going to be a high 2nd or mid/late first….

Sure would be nice to have 2 good options at LT considering our injury history

After yet another victory, we here at Fantasy Journalist now officially apologize to Coach Bradley for our disapproving draft report. Carolina Fury made it look easy against Black Knights, winning 110 to 77.

The win brings Carolina Fury to 3 - 0, a far cry from where we expected after we pegged them as the 2nd worst team coming out of the draft. The loss drops Black Knights' record to 1 - 2.      I LOVE "official" apologies" HAHAHAHA

Really but how much is Dillard going to ask when his deal is up?

Sanders can take a PT job at the Linc Pro shop and come out on breaks to run his 2 plays

BG... again, it's why I said long season at the beginning, because anything can happen.  However, I'm looking at the current situation...  starting off in the hole at 0-3, with the West teams who we do not think will win the West at 3-0... their current injuries and schedule.  It doesn't look good.  You made .you point just talking about Tennessee.  The division seems their best chance by far.   We'll revisit in 2 weeks, where the chalk has Tenn at 4-1 and Indy at 0-5.   Still too early.   But my point will remain, they won't wait until " official mathematical elimination " if there is a huge mountain to climb.  Obviously I'm with you that they would in that unlikely scenario you brought up.

In our case a late first and a mid second aren't all that far apart. We have additional draft ammo to move wherever we choose, so even if it's a 2nd we get we can easily move up into late 1 with very little draft cost. We have great draft ammo, but this class coming in isn't all that hot overall. Hurts seems to be regressing IMO back to the "spot/gimmick" player he was before. Still early,I will give him what others on here will a max of 6 more games to show us he at least progressing. If we see the same BS over the next 2 games, all the alarms should go off in Lurie's office and trigger the overhead sprinklers to make sure Lurie is awake.. Then we would have the usual 2 games of indecision(HAHA but you know it's true!!!),so week 9 max is it for me. IDK if he looks as awful as he did this week, then Siri as a coach needs to pull him that game, then let him start the next game and pull him again if need be. After the second game pull,at that point we need to decide what you are going to do at QB the rest of the year and in the draft. Maybe we need some 'stache. Lurie must be livid as well as embarrassed. We've always had a running game(for better or worse) but Hurts is not our RB and he needs to get them invovled(or Siri does) and stop dreaming about Hurts running for 200 yards a game

Why is Hurts " regressing "?   When did he ever gress in the first place?

Good point. I thought we were "on to something" with the ATL game. Granted their defense isn't too hot,but at least he showed he was coherent and now that has gone away. 9ers game was worse than ATL. Dullaz game was worse than the 9ers,that looks like regression to me

The other regression was 3 carries by RB's. Now IDK how this works. My assumption is with the RPO offense it's Hurt's choice as to what to do with the ball unless specific plays were called in by Siri? So, are these play calls on Siri or Hurts decision making? Educate me

I thought he was better vs SF ...by far.  ATL defense wasn't covering anyone... SF he made some excellent throws, with a little more degree of difficulty.  Dallas was bad, for everyone but Ham.   It's been fairly similar though, just a matter of what type of throws were needed to succeed.   Also, his 2 wins... neither the Saints offense nor the ATL offense did much.  To me the SF game has been by far his personal best.

I can't read this post from you without thinking you are focused on fantasy points for Sanders.   Sorry, just how I see it.  Watching Dallas the first 2 weeks, you beat them by passing the ball.  Guys were open,  he needed to make throws.  They fell behind early, they needed to throw.   But again, this I also coming from me, and my opinion of Sanders is lower than it seems everyone else on here.

LOL nothing to do with fantasy.I am capable of separating the 2.  Before the Dullaz game I stated we needed to hit the 8-12 yards passes over their LB's.But that is difficult to do when you have no running game(3 carries is insanity and IDC what team you have). Dullaz just teed off on Hurts every play because there was no threat to stop them from doing it. BTW Sanders is benched in all my leagues(disclaimer lol)
