https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/gametracker/boxscore/NFL_20210919_SF@PHI/   IDk that Hurts was better. We had 151 rushing yards(82 by Hurts),all that vanished at ATT.; But perhaps you are right. I viewed it as a better team game, but I don't believe Hurts was on fire with 190 passing yards. Dullaz figured out how to stop Hurts from running and we were all done at that point

LOL nothing to do with fantasy.I am capable of separating the 2.  Before the Dullaz game I stated we needed to hit the 8-12 yards passes over their LB's.But that is difficult to do when you have no running game(3 carries is insanity and IDC what team you have). Dullaz just teed off on Hurts every play because there was no threat to stop them from doing it. BTW Sanders is benched in all my leagues(disclaimer lol)

Why was it difficult to do without the running game...  you didn't see TEs running across the field open and some throws missed?  Would a handoff to Sanders help Hurts throw it more accurately?   Because dudes were for sure open.

Maybe not,but it would stop the rushing assault on Hurts. But that didn't matter as it turns out because he held the ball forever after missing his ONLY read. This RPO has turned the O line into a PASS PRO ONLY line. They aren't opening holes for the RB's because they have no clue what Hurt's decision will be on any given play, so they default to pass pro

I'm not looking at stats.   I watched the SF game and strictly from a QB standpoint, I thought Hurts made some plays that actually had a higher degree of difficulty.   As Jaws said long ago, the QB is the position in sports that relies n other factors the most.  That's where the "stats" come in. But from just watching Hurts...SF to me as his best game.   I couldn't make the argument that he wasn't accurate downfield... he made some nice throws.  Other games to me.. it's all easy throws where the defense gives up the yards.  Vs SF he earned those yards...and then some with Reager stepping out on the gem of a pass. Watkins pass was beautiful.  And a couple others were also nice, ones that actually weren't high school throws.

Aren't they getting called for ineligible downfield because they are run blocking on a pass play?

Yeah after 5 seconds of wait time lol. At that point they assume HURTS will run,but not a RB or he would have passed them by already. SO in 6 seconds the line starts downfield(adjust the seconds to your liking but you get the drift)

At any rate I don't like this RPO offense. Personal opinion

I'm of the understanding that on those plays the OL run blocks, and it's up to the QB to make the quick pass...  so really the OL is run blocking from he start and throughout the play.    So really I don't buy this argument.  Seems flawed to me.

Again, I keep coming back to you having Sanders in fantasy.  Monday night was the QB missing throws and making bad decisions.

If it was last year, and the QB made one bad play...that's all that was talked about...no injuries, no lack of running game... if Goedert was that wide open that same situation last year... nothing else but the QB would have been the discussion.  We even beat Dallas on prime time to get 1st place and all the discussion was the one play the QB didn't throw the ball away.   In Cleveland, the QB was 9 for 9...the 10th play he got blown up from the blind side on a pathetic play by Richard Rodgers missing a block...causing the ball to be popped out...and the hole discussion was using  still shot of how he could have thrown the ball earlier.  Nothing about the pathetic block.

Now it's every other excuse in the book except the QB missing a throw?   Hmm?

Not just you... I've been saying it for years... but more so with the option being QB keeper on 25 plays a game.  I like playaction... I like my QB changing plays at the line...I like 2017.  Apparently though it got " too complicated "  for people.

Still too early.   But my point will remain, they won't wait until " official mathematical elimination " if there is a huge mountain to climb.  Obviously I'm with you that they would in that unlikely scenario you brought up.

And my point remains the same they won’t pull Wentz if they are in the hunt there is a far cry from being in the hunt and not being mathematically eliminated… And that it would be either a high 2nd or a mid/late first

The way the Eagles run it it's more of an RRO

Hevent seen to much P as an option.

Looking at Gannon be curious as to what he does to stop the run… His previous stops he always had good LBs  so Zimmer in Minnesota at Kendricks and Barr go to Indy they had Darius Lenard and we got nobody remotely close to those guys.

Could be wrong but think LBs play a huge role in the scheme Gannon wants and without them it’s doomed to fail.

Has ZERO to do with Fantasy, why are you enamored with this? LOL.

The second R apparently does not include Running backs

Yeah I have a problem with this also

Welp they are failing at it then, because there are no holes even for Hurts to run through,it's all outside "panic" running. I'm ok with PLANNED rollouts at times, but panic running is not the same thing. I'm not seeing running lanes beginning at the LOS which is where they begin. When was the last time we successfully ran an A gap play with a RB? This is basic fare for any football team. All I see is disarray and a team that has no clue how to function. It's all on individual guys to make plays. I was happy to see Dillard play well. That offers some relief to me. I still don't like the guy(I don't know why), but I'm glad we have a BU for Mailata. The staff on offense looks totally lost and clueless. it's very sad to see us not being able to perform football 101 plays. If I'm Lurie there will be a big meeting this Friday and the message should be"get your ish together or GTH out". There is NO RIVALRY,it's Dullaz vs team embarrassment. My Dullaz buddy has been gloating for YEARS now(and he has the right to). The rivalry is dead

He's athletic but makes really bad decisions

If we want to keep an eye on some QBs in the college ranks…

Ole Miss Matt Corral he has been on a tear to start the year 9 passing Tds 0 Ints add another 5 rushing Tds

Nevada Carson Strong

Just some different names outside of the big ones Rattler and Howell to keep an eye on.

I kinda like Ridder from Cincy. Hard to find their games on anywhere however

Sadly this next draft is very weak.Of course it figures that's when we have the best picks. There are a few good D players, no QB's that make me want to move up for. At least not at this point. I like Olave at WR,but I am fine with the WR's we have,so unless someone goes down with a terrible injury,I see no reason to select him. I would ,actually use some of our picks to move down or trade them for a future draft picks because really noone rattles my cage right now

It's not easy being green.

Idk,  I guess I think it could be a bigger spread.  Pick 19 is a playoff team...  the exact middle of round 2 is pick 48-49.    While pick 45-49 is a good pick, I think it's a huge difference than say pick 19 to 25.   Even if it's pick 30 to 40, that's pretty decent difference in value.

Why is your Dallas buddy gloating ?   Cowboys haven't made an NFC title game in 25 years?   Is the bar that low for " America's Team"?

Ok so pick 19 is playoff team mid 2nd rounder is what middle of round 2 45-49… 7-9 last year was pick 15 I believe NE….

Indy is 0-3 now if they get to say 8 loses in the next 10 weeks so 2-8 pull Wentz so we see them winning down the stretch without Wentz to have a middle round pick????

Ok they are 5-5 i doubt they pull Wentz in that situation but they loss the next two are 5-7 pull Wentz down the stretch so we really see Indy winning much after that????

I don’t see a situation with how Indy is in the middle of the draft and willing to pull Wentz early enough to not give up a first.

Either going to be a fairly high 2nd rounder or mid/late first
