Reagor has actually been our most reliable and best receiver. Watkins I was laughed at for saying he got unleashed finally last season. It was just a tiny taste….but you could see the kid has it. Reagor does also though. Two guys were super talented and fast….just raw. They weren’t the most NFL ready. I’m fine with that. I don’t count just rookie results. I just won’t guys who have great careers. I’m long playing these two. So they work for me. Two TE 12 personnel had actually been stunting us. Not good for Pedey for sure. Some just look at the past. But in this NFL it’s key to look towards the future. Gotta see it unfolding. These guys work. Not complete yet though. But getting there. Heck, just happy to have these receivers with potential instead of the crap I’ve seen from our team most all my life.

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WatkQu00.htm  1 good game(on a fluke play)- UNLEASHED!!!!!. When I see consistent 100 yard games and 1-2 TD's a game,then I will agree with you

Here's the thing... Hurts possibly isn't the saviour but neither was Wentz. It is very much possible that neither are the saviour.

Wentz would have been better if we hadn't rested on our SB gloating laurels and began to build a team--- immediately. How would this team look with a HEALTHYf Wentz, with the WR's we have now and a solid O line?? We tried to give Wentz these weapons but we had to BUY them because we had no development from previous draft picks(or they were bad picks to start with) NOW we HAVE the team that was intended for Wentz,but..................... we wasted 2 years getting it

Sure, any QB is dead in the water with this crap offense and playcalling. But he’s doing better than a Wentz…and he doesn’t cost the huge money like Wentz. Wentz and Hurts dollar for dollar….I’d go Hurts. Easy decision there.

Yes ,Hurts the "Dollar General"(thanks Ham,I have a new name for him lol) The offense is not crap, the QB is at the moment with bad decision making, lack of multiple reads and getting the ball out faster and farther than 5 yards and perhaps yet another rookie coach. Perhaps Hurts will grow enough to be viable, but he was trained as a "gimmick" QB and that's the offense we are seeing. Not soild ball with execution. This offense would light it up with the right QB. Hurts seems personable, the players like him,he works hard(for reasons stated before) and I have nothing against the guy, but the appearance is that he is "out of his league". I will give him until week 9 at the most.If we still suck you will see other players slack off because the "pre season post season dream" will have died. BTW when Smith came down the runway after he was picked,he didn't look all that excited lol. These #1 picks PLANNED on being STARS and if we cannot give them the QB to get them there it will be a waste of their talents

Wentz- pocket passer who could still hurt you with his legs.   Hurts-scrambling,indecisive, 1 read mess who cannot hurt you with his arm. That is my personal "quickie" analysis. This team was built for the former IMO

Returning to the RB debacle. If you want to talk about overuse check out Derrick Henry. 30 touches last week. Sanders-2. Siri has to STOP panicking when we are down by 7 lol

More excuses for Hurts lmao just sad

Ok BG. We have an amazing team. An amazing coach. Hurts is just screwing up our contending situation.

I will stick my neck out and say we got Minshew because we are planning on having to pull Hurts by week 7,8 and he needs as much time as possible to acclimate just arriving here a short time ago. IMO this team will be better under the 'stache. The only question is how long do we wait?? It's Hurts job to lose and I feel he will do just that

To me it’s Siri’s job to lose. Can he make it to halfway through the season? Blame Hurts. Blame whomever. This is a crap offense with terrible playcalling two weeks in a row. He’s new to this. But I’m not seeing it.

I also believe Siri is not as bad a coach as some think. He is trying(desperately) to play to Hurts strengths. The problem is there are no real strengths and he can only use the tools Howie gave him. Howie's ego will not allow him to let siri make the change, until it becomes so obvious he has no other choice(much like he did with Wentz)

It's not a crap offense. The play calling is simple, yet Hurts cannot execute those simple plays. How are you going to open the playbook when you can''t ever execute the simple stuff??? Siri cannot call dynamic complicated plays when Hurts can't recognize more than 1 read and even doing that he stares that read down(boy this is a CB's/S's dream here lol)

How about just getting a QB... savior means " our team sux, so we need a guy to save it"    how about getting a good team and a dude to play QB.....kinda like 2017.   I know it's maybe too much to ask of my GM to get good players... idk, I watched opening night and saw Evans, Godwin, Brown, Gronk, Cooper, Lamb...   thought to myself, how far back do we need to go to find 5 Eagles pro bowl WRs?      Maybe my memory is off but I came up with ...  DeSean, T.O., Fryer, Quick and Carmichael.

Idk.... seeing it on the field in one game and then have to go back 40.... almost 50 years now... that's pretty sad.

Then I thought to myself...  Green Bay has had 2 QBs in the last 30 years... wonder if they had pro bowl WRs to help?    Idk... Sharpe, Freeman, Driver, Jennings, Nelson, Adams.... maybe I could be missing a few too...but seems that there aren't any gaps in the timeline???

Hey but Travis Fulgham is our best over the last 3 seasons.... stat wise anyway.   We know stats matter on here...lol.

Forget the "savior"   build a quality roster and see what results we get.  Then you get rid of a guy once he proves he can't play or win with the other quality guys.   I want no part of getting another QB in here... build up the roster and leave no doubt that Hurts isn't the guy...give him 2 years and suffer through it.   This way the next guy doesn't have to be any savior,  worst case he can be a Dak ( who has had quality players around him since day 1, but hasn't won anything)  best case he wins for you.

Because Wentz had this amazing team around him I forgot… OL injured, he had WR nope forgot didn’t have those, Well the TEs nope they were out the pair lot do the year, well he had sander nope he missed chunks of the year…But the play calling was elite no that wasn’t it either… But then you going to say well we paid him yea in 2020 we did but he had to deal with that in 2019 while on his rookie contract still….

My issue is you want to throw Wentz under the bus for everything but then use every excuse under the sun for Hurt failures when he is dealing with the exact same circumstances as Wentz.

I criticized Wentz for a ton of his bad plays last year the plays he could control just like I am doing with Hurts now.

So you don’t think having RBs rushing the ball has any effect on the pass rush, LBs or Secondary?

Idk did it have an effect on the last QB?

I agree, mostly, but Im not waiting 2 more years. If Howie can't see failure with his own eyes that's on him. Arod will be a FA after this season(as will Wilson).I think he would light this team up(although I cant say I like his attitude alot he still wins games). This could be viable as I see no QB's in the coming draft that I would bet the farm on and we would have the money to do it while using the draft to bolster the surrounding team. Then you;ld have time to get a new franchise QB in a future draft

Can't like this post enough.    For years all I heard was Ziggy Anzah should have been the pick over Lane Johnson.  With an arrogance about it.  Now, we will hear excuses for Hurts to no end, when it's obvious to the whole world dude just can't make all the throws necessary to play in the NFL.

Another observation. yeah the Colts lost 3. The difference for me is they weren't embarrassed. I said before if we play our best and lose to a better team you'd hear little from me,but we aren't close to playing our best

I'll wait to years... because it's not just about Hurts and putting another band aid on it.    It's what's going to happen around the league... and how the humiliation sinks in.  2016 style is what is needed...they put egos aside and started doing things other organizations did without trying to be smartest guy in the room.  That crap needs to stop.

IMO this is year 2 of embarassment. The names just changed. So,for me the 2 years is up now

When you get to be our age there might not be another next year.

I'm happy we got the one we did

Welp others and myself have been saying for years Lurie needs to hire a GM "football guy" and let Howie do the contracts. But that isn't happening. Howie has Lurie snowed in

I said I couldn't die until we won a SB lol. SO yeah I'm right there with ya. I can die in peace now,but I can also go out kicking and screaming until I do lol

IDK,I think we drop Minshew in at some point, then work on getting Arod in here(yeah we have the money for it). He's no spring chicken but he would hit these young stud WR's we have and since there are no "light 'em up" QB's in this coming draft,it buys us time until the next Wentz comes along

If you don't want Arod because he is 37,Russell Wilson is only 32

Nah... last year was the excuse of injuries and everyone of the young guys playing for the first time.    This year they aren't brand new to the league...  and remember it was all the QBs fault.     This is the team they wanted to build..   running QB, speed all over the WR spot...etc.  They got their stud CBs.... who needs LBs?  Finesse baby...finesse.
