Shady retiring an Eagle tomorrow.

Are you sure... the switch in QBs was supposed to help develop the WRs... look how it worked for Fulgham.

" I ain't worried about our offense at all"

Retweet.... " at all"

Remember those words of wisdom from the WRs. They have their guy throwing them the ball.    Paying rent everyday baby

I don't think the'plan was to start Hurts.I think the plan was for wentz to be here. We were forced to start Hurts for lack of anyone else(and why I feel we got Minshew as a band aid)

This offense is for a Wentz type and we are trying to pound a square peg into a round hole here

If the 2nd round pick was " forced to start"  then he shouldn’t have been selected.   Btw, I agree...I think Howie and Lurie wanted the combo of gadget play/ backup QB at a cheap $ #.   That was the value they saw with Hurts.   Same with Flacco and Mustache... cheap backups.

Idk... bubble screens wasn't a Wentz thing.   Sure one speed guy in the #2 role.... but we don't have that big WR.    Idk, but I'm pretty sure the #1 WRs ...stat wise for Wentz... Matthews, Alshon, Fulgham.  Those are the bigger types.    Which IMO is needed in a top passing game. At least one.

Yeah, I just feel Minshew is more suited to this team as a better band-aid lol. All we had besides Wentz was Duds at the time,so it was a cheap out for Howie, but I don't believe he was drafted to replace Wentz

It's not a crap offense. The play calling is simple, yet Hurts cannot execute those simple plays. How are you going to open the playbook when you can''t ever execute the simple stuff??? Siri cannot call dynamic complicated plays when Hurts can't recognize more than 1 read and even doing that he stares that read down(boy this is a CB's/S's dream here lol)

Sure it’s Hurts fault we hardly use presnap motion, it’s his fault Siri isn’t calling runs, he’s using this terrible offense to help Hurts? Just like a Hurricane helps plants get watered

Yeah that seems odd to me also. You could sat the same at RB,all 3 that dress are clones and the basher we need sits on the PS lol. Seems to me that limits the play book also

They do,ask me how I know

Pre snap motion would require siri calling in a specific running play. he doesn't he lets hurts make the decision and so far they are all BAD decisions. We have no RB because Hurts won't hand the ball off,so the RPO is limited to a cheap 4 yard pass,Hurts running, or taking a sack-SWEET!!! I believe Siri is trying to let Hurts learn, but he is not. Why doesn't Hurts hand the ball to Sanders????? 3 carries from 2 RB's isn't going to cut it

In other news Shady calling it a career will sign a 1 day deal to retire as an Eagle

Watch the game again. Siri just hasn’t been calling runs. You can’t put that all on Hurts. Playcaller can just flat out call all kinds of handoffs to the RB. Stop blaming Hurts for the playcalling. Not calling a handoff to the RB is all on Siri. His excuse was "ahhh we had to try and keep up with the Cowboys.” The coach straight admitted he was trying to engage in a shootout and abandon the run. Take your blinders off.

What you want is Hurts to just ignore the playcall and call a RB handoff. That’s what he would have to do to change it.

That's what I gathered from article on NBC Sports.

Think you should watch the game again…. While I’ll agree that we didn’t run it nearly enough was probably a solid 5-8 designed plays where Hurts had the option to handoff to the RB some he kept himself others he tried to pass(handful of them got a penalty for illegal man down the field)… But again this isn’t something new to Philly and isn’t something likely to change.

We need you to take your Hurts blinders off though we can all see Siri hasn’t been great, just like we can all see the short comings of Hurts that has zero to do with Siri.

Seen we have beaten the Hurts topic to death ☠️ figure I bring up I found interesting in that everyone favorite LB Singleton doesn’t seem to be doing well in Gannons system PFF has graded Singleton very poorly.

So how did we get so far behind? Was it the brilliant QB play? Or perhaps that Hurts would not hand off the to RB's? in an RPO you are relying on your QB to make those decisions unless you specifically call in that play, take your blinders off. If Siri wants Hurts to be an RPO QB he is giving him the chance to do it and he is failing. I'm sorry NO coach abandons the run at 7-7,but we managed to do it. If that was on Siri,so be it,but plays are called and Hurts has the options. IMO we need a pocket passing QB with the OC calling the plays ,not an every play "gimmick" offense

And we have the WR's and TE's do it too!!! The "fail " was at QB yes????

The play call doesn't matter because he CANNOT execute any of them. The long "lucky"play to Quez should never have been thrown and YOU KNOW IT

What is hero ball?   Is it when your team sux so you try to go above and beyond just managing the game and making the easy play because you know that isn't going to help you win

It is when you make plays that hurt your team because you're trying to make the big splash play every time.

If you're going to have a shootout, you need a gunslinger not a kid with a cap gun. Siri just got schooled and I hope he learned something

Yes. And maybe Siri had Hurts panicking as to the reason why no hand-offs???? Or just maybe it's all too much for Hurts. No?

We weren’t running RPOs all those plays. It was pass pass pass playcalling.

Sorry, Hurts is JV. IDK how this system works nor who is calling the plays or how much audible control Hurts has. What is EASY to see is,they aren't being executed. To me Hurts is a HS/small college QB and is WELL out of his league. Let's recall he transferred because he could not earn the starting job where he was. Any bells going off????? We are in year 2 of Hurts(so called) development. He came in as a "gimmick " and that is exactly the offense we are getting. he is NOT a rook,he has been with this team more than a year. he should be farther ahead and he isn't and I see little to no mental thought process improvement. "Shake and bake" is for college not the NFL, especially if you cannot do it

How do you know? What audible freedom does Hurts have? I know Wentz had it. I will say once again, this offense was set up for WENTZ and we are trying to pound a square peg into a round hole and he just DOESN'T fit. He is NOT the next Jackson or Mahomes. And as much as we want that to be so,the talent is NOT there. Let's recall this bit of information. LUCK was supposed to be the QB in Indy. he QUIT. That left them with Brissett( you know where Siri was????). So where is Brissett? GONE and they got Wentz which is the SAME TYPE QB we need HERE. Hurts = Brissett, do you get this yet?, Obviously you do NOT, but keep shaking those pom poms. Why the hell do we have Sanders on the roster???? May as well put me in. I can run 2 plays a game and do it cheaper

Everyone here, rightly so, is saying Hurts is a rookie.

Thy would you give a rookie QB unlimited audible freedom?
