Mike Quick said he saw flashes of Westbrook in Gainwell.

I was shockingly happy. I knew he was a steal and that he had potential, but he took the 2 job away from Scott right away and he is contributing. See Ham? Gainwell is a HURTS pick up-got it yet?

Never happens to any other QB,only Hurts

Actually haven’t seen it happen too often. Our young receivers are limiting. Just no doubts there. I’ve been preaching patience on them though as they grow and improve. Believe they will. Just not blaming the QB for their inexperience.

Even the crowd was chanting "run the ball"

Sure don't have to worry about wearing him out with his 2 carries

Sanders had 7

7 is a stretch unless you count the swing passes for minus one inch

I’ve credit Hurts quite often for good throws even stated I think he could be fine deep ball thrower with the right timing with WRs because of a very catchable deep ball…

But I also see a lack of intermediate and deep passing attack from Hurts he can’t hit those passing with any consistency… And underthrowing deep balls is a huge no-no that leads to picks more often then not I’d rather see him sail it 5 yards over the WR then under throw him 5 yards

They are all inexperienced. Chemistry takes time. Maybe Hurts throws were just a tad off?? maybe the WR took an extra step on his route that put him OOB? These are all growing pains dude

Exactly. Just soooo obvious to everyone. That’s on the playcalling to help the QB and defense. Everybody is playing us strictly for the pass. Just pinning their ears back to pass rush. Just keep them a bit more honest and things will open up. Only logical approach for this bad team. Just keep us in enough to have a chance.

I'm just reporting what's on the NFL.com stat sheet

These WR's were had for their SPEED. FLAT out SPEED. They are not built for sideline passes, they are built, for down the middle DEEP balls we CANNOT deliver to them

Especially when KCs run D is poor

But to be fair, so is their pass D

Welp when the clock goes against you,you can run if you are down 1 score, not 2 or 3 with 5 minutes left,so running comes off the table unless you want that clock to keep moving and burn time outs

Chemistry does take time. Quez and Reagor were also known raw prospects. They just need to develop. Seeing good signs on this front mostly. Just can’t blame the QB because this is all he has to work with. Without the RBs rushing the ball to take pressure off…so the D only plays the pass making it even more difficult.

Exactly why I’m educating you on they weren’t all runs

We did that most of the game. Then the D collapsed and couldn't get a stop. That takes the running game off the table

I don’t see it that way. I think we’ve seen excellent returns on throwing underneath and letting those guys produce YAC. Also helps when they just stretch the D even without getting thrown to.  Speed helps in plenty of ways that just aren’t Go routes. Have you watched Tyreek Hill? Not always just running deep.

Ham Bro, who is our BASHER RB?(hint he is on the PS). Do we have a CEH that can power run? Maybe but then you need an Oline and ours was pieced together in 2 hours.please

Like I keep saying we have to ADJUST TO HURTS, which isn't registering with you

The only stop the D got all game was the int

Sure a backup Oline usually means pass pass pass

Don’t think they ever punted did they?

Nope

They did ok for nearly 3 quarters. We were right in this game until the collapse mid 3rd

OK whatever I thought overall we played alot better. We were right there for a long time. But we weren't embarrassed(until the 4th qtr lol). We got beat by a better team and we all knew that going in. I had 41-17 at game time,so we played a little better than I figured. And we also found we have a new guy in Gainwell and that Hurts CAN throw more than 8 yards,so these are things to build from

If i remember correctly KC had 7 posessions and 6 TDs. 0 punts

I guess we have different ideas about doing ok

Sadly getting beat by a better team is all we have to look at here. Who do we play that we are better than? Only our division to even look at. But yes, I’m with you. Just want this team(including coaches) to improve as the season goes on. If we can just finish strong on some high notes then we might have something. Relying on a bunch of young guys on a team that is far from complete. Just want to see the progression here. Teams have more film on us now. Siri really was holding that unknown as a competitive advantage. Now we’ll have to adjust and grow to them gameplanning against each player more. Gotta add to.

Not bad against one of the top offenses???? We were fine until the 4th quarter? Noone is going to stop KC from scoring, but you can make it more difficult. How many of those TD possessions were in  the late 3rd and 4th when we collapsed?  What was the score at 1/2 time? Now we can argue about what caused the collapse,so go ahead

Probably need to trade Sanders. He jukes everybody and makes a good play then spikes the ball hard. Can just tell he’s frustrated. Best player on our offense. Can’t understand why he hasn’t been the focus of our offense.

Most teams are better,we also knew that before the season started. Why is the news to you?

 Maybe Gainwell did better?
