That was a great play. That is really cool. Im jealous. My dream golf foursome: Marino, Steve Young, Wilbert Montgomery….and Cindy Crawford driving my cart. 😀

FWIW here's the whole drive(gotta watch on Youtube lol). You can see how he set it up lol. I asked if that was planned. he said no,he just thought he could fool them HAHA,and he DID.

Maybe you could lose the dudes at the 19th hole LMAO

Also for the record,I am PO'd at DirecTV. We can put a rover on Mars, yet we can't pick individual teams on Sunday ticket lol

Actually if you really watch that play…..the LB(I believe it was) held Ertz and disrupted the timing. Otherwise TD.

So agreed that it was a good play call?

What does amount of at bats have to do with the score? You dont win by the amount of at bats you have

What it has to do with is the idea that our defense was 0 for 3 vs KC in the first half.  They didn't stop them at all.  They came out and got a pick right away in the 2nd half.  So the D didn't get worse in thr 2nd half as you say.   KC had more opportunities to score and scored the same.

Right and if you check their other scores, noone else could stop them either,so our defense was about 1 TD worse than every other defense they played against and they got 21 points per half

But your post had nothing to do with other teams... you said our defense got worse in the second half, it was OK in the first half.... had zip to do with other teams.  I'm pointing out that this was not the case because KC scored a TD EVERY POSSESSION in the first half.

And check the other scores... vs Cleveland they had 10 at half, vs LAC they had 3 at the half.... so apparently other teams were stopping them early in games... unlike the Eagles.  Our offense started first and was able to control the ball each series, limiting KC's possessions. Since they didn't punt or kick a FG, that's 6 TDs on 7 possessions.  3 out of 3 in first half.  Our D was useless while other teams have been stopping them at times.

The offense did a nice job moving the ball and occupying the clock each drive.  But apparently that means we were trying to be in a shoot out, the play calling was bad and Miles Sanders needed the ball more for us to have won?

IMO, the game plan was perfect,  it is the exact way for this Eagles team to maximize their shot at beating a team like KC.   They occupied the ball, while having opportunities to score a TD each drive.   You weren't going to slow down KC's offense simply by handing off to Sanders.  You needed TDs to beat them.  Or you needed the defense to not give up a TD 6 out of 7 times.   But criticizing any part of the offensive game plan is just lazy and dumb when seeing how Hurts thrives in this style, the opportunities were there, all while limiting KC's possessions.

My major gripe is going for FGs inside of the 10

You aren't gonna beat the Chiefs with FGs so you may as well go all or nothing

So look at the the KC games to date. Anyone else stopping them??? NO.It's just other teams outscored them. We are about 1 TD worse than any other defense they played(big deal) So we are a little less than average. look that up. Every other D has given up 30+ points also,so it's not like anyone is shutting them down eh?

But he's hitting everything else, unless Hurts lol

Buffalo may stop them this week....

Jonathan Gannon admitted we don’t have a Dime defensive package. Pretty crazy! Just not another DB he remotely wants on the field I guess.

Considering are lack of quality playmakers at LB this is a very limiting situation.

How many years have you and i and many others complained about this?

I really think this defense is not a complete finished product. We just do not have the people for a 3-4 yet we still use it. I have to feel we will be addressing this defense next draft. Offense is pretty solid except for depth and age at a couple positions. So rounds 1 and 2 should be all defense IMO of course taking BPA, but defensively. Then after it will be a crap shoot I guess...

Maybe we will finally get our wish and see a LB taken?

See the PFF practice draft I did? 2 CB"s and a LB, then I added a decent G(in case Kelce retires AGAIN and we move Dickerson into C) A+,A-,A-,A- for a total grade of A. Not many offensive skill players next draft, we'd be stupid to ignore the defense again(but it's Howie so......) as much as I would love Olave I couldn't move up for him(maybe add his teammate Garrett in a later round)

IDK sadly when a nice CB or LB comes up in FA Howie sits on his hands. I guess the one time he did(Sherman?? It's so forgettable, I even forgot who we took lol, former Seahawk I remember that much)) was a disaster and now he just avoids them all until an underling pounds the table so hard he has to listen

That's pretty good offensively.     But it basically tells the story that KC had the ball 7 times... 8 was the kneel downs at the end.  ... other than the INT thrown on the 3rd down of the opening drive of the 2nd half, their offense was perfect.  Converting every 3rd down and scoring a TD on every drive.

It tells the story that once again Gannon couldn’t adjust and was exposed for the second week in a row. This time adding in that we don’t even have Dime. AR picked up on that pretty quickly putting Hill inside on our LB. The Cheetah only went for 187 yards and three TDs.

Sadly Gannon’s run D has already been exposed. This was another week of getting run all over now because of it. This D is in serious trouble.

Yeah.... all coaching,  players don't matter.

To me... tells me we need talent.  The GM better get some players in here.   Too much depends on Cox and Graham IMO.   " but Joe, Graham didn't play and Cox was shutout "  .... CORRECT!

Except for that gray cloud that hangs over the 11 guys we call a defense 😂
